I came in and bought exactly what I wanted on sale and a new item to try and got the senior citizens discount. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I hope that I made a new friend today as this is one of my usual shopping spots.

Best Jay C's I've seen. Store is clean, staff is nice, and they have an ample selection of products. It's the kind of store you would expect to find in a much larger community. Plus, they have the best deli fried chicken in town.

It would be nice if the expanded their floral section. Make a better fresh fruit and vegetable section. Self check or more open lines. Long wait for checkout.

May not be as cheap as Walmart but shopping at the Jay-C store is far superior to shopping at Walmart in a myriad of significant ways. It's a very pleasant store, customer service is great, selection is great, and fuel points make gas much more affordable.And for me, I'd much rather shop locally at a business I find morally superior for many reasons.

Shopped here and had enough incidents (good and bad) to write a book. Definitely some people here that love their jobs and go the extra mile for the customer. Cleanliness, quantity and freshness of stock has declined somewhat in the past couple years under new management. Men's restroom is in need of repairs.

A little bit on the expensive side unless you go shopping for sales. Customer service can be hit-and-miss and sometimes rude especially a couple of the cashiers. When they have good sales is the time to stock up and paying regular price isn't an advisable to to finding products elsewhere cheaper when they're not on sale at JayC

The staff is always super friendly. I like to go here when I want to get groceries quick because they aren't as busy as other places and they always have parking. They accept WIC and EBT. They also sell books of stamps and have a UPS drop box and a Redbox outside their store. Some things are a little more expensive than Wal-Mart, but they have great discounts and their app gives you coupons and a free item every Friday.

Brandy is a polite and professional cashier. It was very disappointing to walk into store and see people without masks. I will not shop here again if the management does not want to keep the store safe for all.

I'd like to know who gave these employees the right to consistently come up and touch all over my son. He has sensory processing disorder and the last thing he needs is employees coming up to him grabbing his feet and touching him. It sends him into a panic. Just because you say he is cute doesn't make it ok. The next time this happens it will not be pretty.

Generally helpful and nice staff. Nice produce. Most expensive grocer in town. Usually have items stocked that are on sale. Hard to get a handicapped spot when busy.

Best thing in town. It's not too bad of a corporation, but indeed is one. Prices of groceries are high as the sky these days but this Corp runs decent sells and nice discounts.

It's ok for a quick stop but their prices are REALLY high. The same chocolate almond milk is $2 cheaper at Walmart. Their baby food selection is minimal. They do have a good beer & wine variety, but again the same beer is $3 at Walmart, while its $5 at Jay C. Since Walmart arrived the service here has been slow and inattentive.

I went in here tonight and the lady told me when would not cash out my western union because she would be closed by the time she finished. It was before closing time but she would not do it. Um hello you're still open lady still time to work

Friendly staff. One of the asst. managers I beleive his name is Robert. He is always friendly, professional and always helpful. I called once and asked a question. He was very informative and went out of his way to find all the answers to my phone call.

Cart person hit my Mother's car, admitted guilt, filed report with manager and now store is refusing to pay for damages!! VERY BAD BEHAVIOR on their part!! Have shopped there for many years but REFUSE to go back!! They should be ashamed!! Salem Store!

Everyone who works there is always cheerful and willing to help. If they don't know the answer to a question, they will find out for you, they don't try to hand you off to someone else. Great people!

Needs to update their hours on here. I went at 10pm and there was a worker at the door that watched us walking up and locked the door and just starred at us. So guess they close at 10 not 11 now.

I bought L'Oreal preference $9.79 on 4/28/18 @ 9:08pm by cashier Kelly, but it was not placed in any of my bags. Please check this cashier / check out station and hold it for me. I live in Austin but will drive back to retrieve it.I hope this was an innocent mistake, she seemed annoyed from the start.

I think it is pathetic with all the elderly and disabled people in Salem, you do not have pick up. Thank God for Walmart. That is where I will continue my grocery shopping.
