This is by far the worst dollar general i’ve ever been to! The manager was being very rude & disrespectful. Their system was down and only allowed cash so we had to pull more out in the middle of scanning and the manager made me feel very uncomfortable about the situation due to there being a line. it feels like everytime time i’ve gone there, there has been an issue. EMBARRASSING. if there was a way to put 0 stars i would.

I was waiting 10 min at the register, so I stood by the Rug Doctor rentals about where their back room is. I said "hello, hello" Helen a employee came out swinging get hands Infront of my face saying rudely "you can't be back here!" I was not in their back room or, behind the counter. She proceeded to argue and swinging her hands in my face. Granted their employees can be rude, but I've never been asulted in a store by an employee !Helen should be fired for asulting me!

I love that I'm able to run here instead of having to trek all the way to Crawfordsville or Lafayette. They have all of the essentials and then some. They just remodeled and the store looks neat and organized. All of the employees are pretty nice and helpful too. I would give 5 stars, but the price of milk here is always so expensive! Last time I went, I paid $3.99 for a gallon.

This Dollar General is by far one of the favorites. Always well stocked, organized, and clean. And the folks who work here are always nice and very helpful when needed. If you just need a few last second items for dinner, or if you are wanting to browse through the home decor, this store has got you covered!

Photos uploaded to prove I’m a customer. Not sure if corporate approves or not but the computer made non-professional signs for no public bathroom and no cash back is hilarious.The main reason I stopped at Dollar General was to pay for a cheap padlock that I could’ve bought somewhere else for less money so that I could get $10 cashback to pay a buddy back.When I asked the cashier Mary what’s going on with the cashback she stated that it’s a holiday.I wasn’t aware that the Friday two days before Mother’s Day on Sunday is a holiday!

Cashier was very rude after I informed her that she had a line, I was telling her that basically she needed to rap up the conversation she had going that was preventing the line from moving, I had an inpatient husband waiting for me at home. That was very poor service and this is my all the time place to shop. I'm very offended that the cashier was offended that I was just trying to have her back and let her know that other people were getting upset as well as I was. It's called multitask. This girl just doesn't have it.

Disappointed to see the recent increase in prices across the board in the grocery section of the store. When Dollar Tree raised most of their prices to 1.25 ,DG corporate stated they had no intention of raising their core prices. Tyson Chicken has gone from 6 something to 10 and the DG brand frozen chicken from 5 something to 8. Candy and drinks are up 30 to 50 cents... Increases across most other grocery items. You can slide the new price stickers they put up over the old price stickers and see the huge, non economic-inspired-non supply chain increase. Do better DG

Romney dollar general has the nicest and helpful employees. I've had very good shopping there. And hardly ever have to wait In a check out line. Always enjoy my shopping visits.

The Central Air is still out & has been at least 2 months approximately. The Associates are friendly & helpful, yet I feel they & customers alike are going to pass out from lack of oxygen without air circulation. The building is not ventilated at all. It's like shopping in a coffin... Dollar General - Treat People Better Than This!!

I give it a 4 star cause it's a good place to go to when ya need something small, on-the-go, or just something quick and easy to pick up. Very helpful when you forgot something and you don't want to go get it from a big store(ie. Walmart). DG is a small place where you can easily pick what you need. Try it out. You might like it.

Great place to go if you don't want to go into the crowded stores of Lafayette! Clean store and the employees are friendly. They have a large selection. I always find what I need!

I used to go to Kroger to shop they changed the store around and you spend more time looking around.At Dollar general I can find almost all the groceries that I get from Kroger at less money and located in a smaller amount of room

I normally love Dollar General and have been to many over the years.The store in Romney lost all my business as they treated me terrible after I spent lots of money buying monthly needs.I was talked rudely to over the phone in person and Manager had to check the camera to see if I had even been there when I had made a large purchase and didnt get a sack that contained 13 of items.Treated like a criminal and crazy woman.Wont go back to this store but it was convenient.Poor management.I am 71yrs old and never been treated worse.Sad

My favorite place to shop! I go to Kroger’s to buy meat but for everything else I get it at Dollar General. Love this store!
