I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. I was waiting to be checked out and was offended by the young girl at check out. She was very rude to the women checking out. I was also very proud to see the older woman spoke up about the racial profiling. The young man working at the service desk or working as the supervisor couldn't even fix their issue, which was the cashier's fault. She was improperly trained and apparently so was he. Sometimes people need to ring things up a certain way because they're on a budget. These woman clearly were not as they were shopping for someone elderly in OUR community. They also paid almost 300 Dollars of their own money for whomever they were shopping for because the cashier didn't know how to run a partial purchase. Sometimes, it's not what you say, it's how you say it or act. Maybe had she used the word please and thank you as well as asking politely they wouldn't have lost another customer. I see the artist discovery post and am fairly certain that was the girls treated so horribly. I will apologize for our community store and please know you are welcome here. I spoke to them outside and they were here to possibly bring a lot of money to this specific community. Apparently, they had certain ties to this community. Sad to report, they're moving on (maybe). You never know what others are bringing to the table or have to offer. In this specific case they were searching for a community to donate to and bring certain much needed resources such as after school programs, single parent resources, addiction counseling and recovery, low income assistance, a food and goods pantry and most importantly some jobs just to name a few as well as a hefty cash donation. Sad how 1 or 2 people can ruin it for everyone. Sunday April 28th, Lane 1, Young blonde cashier. Do better IGA, maybe sensitivity and diversity training. Also, retrain so these people can properly do their jobs correctly and in a professional manner.

Went through the check out on Sunday. The cashier was hateful, rude and disrespectful. She stared at us and didn't ring anything up until she so rudely told us she wanted to ring up our charcoal which was on the bottom of the cart. We were still in the process of unloading our cart and was going to put the non food items on last to not get the chemicals mixed up with our food. I will try to call the manager on Monday and if not taken seriously, as I believe this was a racial issue, I will be calling corporate and reporting this and the lack of knowing her job. This will not be tolerated and they just lost a very loyal customer. We stop in multiple times during the week and place water on the bottom of our cart and the cashier's don't have any issues with us placing what we're going to purchase on the belt how we would like to arrange it so it gets bagged correctly. Not above contacting an attorney for racial profiling, harassment or racial hate crime. The white couple behind us was not asked to put their Cokes on the belt first.

I doubt that you can find a more friendlier staff anywhere. Get there early if you want some fresh made donuts, they sell out super quick.

Considering it's the only grocery store in town without having to drive to other cities to get groceries, it's okay. Prices are very high on almost everything in the store. The employees are really nice though.

Came through on a vacation stop. This cute little store had the cutest little patio set on sale. It was just a fluke we stopped. My daughter and her fiance now are owners of this furniture in Florida

Very convenient, prices are reasonable, the Deli has delicious food and cakes, every thing is easy to find, they also sell Southern South brand shirts, and everything. All the people that work there is nice, friendly, and always great you with a smile

It is always clean and friendly when I go. There prices can be a bit high but you know that going in but they have a lot that is low to just gotta be a shopper. They always have what you need and the deli is great!!

Kenny the store manager is doing his best and hardest to keep shelf's stop as others things. But anymore it's getting hard to keep supplies in. Ye is amazing and try helping others when needed and do his job as well. Definitely the best person for his job. Definitely a blessing to have him there and put up with what he has to on daily bases. People blame him for the price keep going up when it's not his fault

Produce could be a lot better some items have been there to long any pre-made salad mixes needs to be looked at closely the meat selection is ok . There is a lot of off brand items I go there because it is close the big problem is it is the only grocery store in town when I have extra time I will go elsewhere

Older store, but a good, local option for Rockport. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but just fine for convenience. Their deli has great fried chicken and the grocery is staffed with very friendly employees. Recent renovations are looking really good!

The prices are a little bit expensive, but the cashier was very friendly and felt like he actually really enjoyed being there and working.If you have the time I would recommend just taking the time to drive to Owensboro to save yourself some extra money, but for a quick trip it isn't bad, but expect to pay a premium, even when some of things are on sale they still can be more than normal sell prices at other stores.

I avoid this place as much as I can. Their prices for most items are double what I pay at other stores. Even small local grocery stores have significantly lower prices. It's ridiculous. Many of the staff members are incredibly rude, and I've seen them be downright hateful to lower ranking employees. One day a manager yelled at a new cashier from 4 lanes away because she made a mistake in the way she rang up one of my items. I was so embarrassed for that poor girl. The manager just went on and on, and wouldn't let it go! It was terrible. Nothing really changed when they switched from Buehler's to IGA, except the already overpriced food items went up a little more. They do have great meat sales, and the meat is usually decent quality, so I do shop here during those sales. Otherwise, I stay away.

Local people should appreciate their one & only store. It's high on some things, but aren't they all? By the time you drive to the next town, you use a lot of gas & haven't gained a thing!!!! They do run good sales.

Very friendly staff and a well maintained store with VERY CLEAN restrooms which is always a huge decision in my review of any place I visit! The produce and deli was well kept, fully stocked, and had a wide variety of items to choose from. The store carries organic items as well in produce, grocery, and dairy areas. The meat department has a good selection but I'm not sure of organic selections in this area. This store is very nice and I would take my business there anytime I'm in Rockport!

I like the people there. If you get the items on sale, it's not too bad as far as pricing goes. I have to buy turkeys every month cause my dog is allergic to EVERYTHING!! The turkeys are expensive!

The store is clean. But, the prices on everything in that store are very over priced. Not enough of the sale items or most wanted so they put more IGA vegetables, oil, etc out so you buy they're kind for a profit and most of the employees are nice. Glad the older generation from 20 and 30 years ago are gone. They was rude, never give application for anything but the deli jobs. Sherri Jones is great though. Really could use a man there all the time to sack groceries for people that are old, disabilities, run get forgotten item. Instead of customer leaving to find that one thing they didn't. Meat sales when bought in add in large quantities are good prices. Wish we still had more than this place to shop though. Not necessarily The old Holiday. But more than this (RobCustomersBlind). Oh watch your debit cards there. They love charging people 3 times for one item. And ALWAYS CHECK your bag. Because all stores do not ever ask you if you got what you paid for. And God, have them DOUBLE BAG GLASS N HEAVY ITEMS. DO NOT PUT ALL HEAVY IN ONE BAG.

I was pretty impressed with all this store had to offer. It's in a small town but had a nice deli as well as everything else you would expect at a market. Nice staff as well.

The prices are what you would expect from a small town grocery store and I've been here several times over the years. Not my go to grocery store as the value of what I'm buying in the IGA brand is garbage, so you typically will pay more for a better product.
