Employees are nice, decent variety of stuff, but just like every other dollar store, they're overstocked and it is hard to get through most aisles. Not really the fault of this particular store, I think it is a corporate issue.

I stopped there on my way home from school and I was looking for something that I couldn't find so I walked around the whole damn store to find someone. It took me 15mins to find someone for them to tell me they didn't have any in shock. No big deal but come on. To find someone to help me when I was the only customer in your store is ridiculous in my opinion. Also unpacking merchandise for thr store, boxes everywhere to where I also tripped multiple times.

I would pass up any other Dollar General store to Shop at this one. They treat everyone as if they were family! They are more than willing to help You, and always make You feel welcome and, it is The Cleanest, Most Organized Dollar General Store in the whole world! They even have wonderful fresh Produce even fresh salads! I no longer shop in Owensboro, Kentucky since I Discovered this Dollar General Store. If Every Dollar General store in the world were like this one The World would seriously better place! And The Workers who work here are very sweet and kind! I am so Elated since I shopped here! Store is under a new manager, went in there yesterday morning and she was rude. When I asked her about when they were getting another shipment of milk, she said she didn't know and told me that when I see it on the shelf thats when they get it. Going back to Rockport for sure. Get nicer people in here.

They need to hire more people and not put so much work on the ones they already have there. Most don't realize but they have to not only run the register but they have to unload the truck when it arrives and do all the stocking while waiting on customers. Its alot on the few people that work there. And if you happen to be like some and have made a few mistakes in your past and maybe have a felony on your record completely un theft related or non violent then you will not be hired.
