They don't have enough employees. The ones that are there are trying their best, but they definitely need more help. It's hard to get someone to the counter if you need help with checking out or the restroom key, etc. because they're swamped trying to get things unloaded, etc.

If I could give this place no stars, I would, but to post a review you have to put at least one. So I’m giving a 0 star review.When I was younger this place was a decent dollar general. Over the past few years it has gone way down hill. When I went to get an ice cream bar from the little freezer from the front, there was stuff all over it and it looked sticky and you could barely see through the glass. In one of the corners there was a dying fly, and in the other there were maggots. The refrigerator was almost empty of drinks and the shelves were very bare. Kinda disappointed 😞

Love my local Dollar General! The employees are always courteous and truly seem to enjoy helping and talking with their customers. My items are nearly always in stock and priced just right.

One in Rockport it's crazy all the great help is gone but one an Sam is still there an Logan I believe his name is he still there . If your smart you better do everything you have not to loose em an they do need pay raise there amazing two people who is still there

The DG offers a wide variety of products. I rated it okay because the isles are filled with extra products. It is difficult to get around. There is not enough room to use a wheelchair and you have to go to the side wall to get down the aisle to check out. Otherwise, it is very clean and the associates are friendly.

Store is an absolute mess nothing is put away nothing is ever in stock needs to be closed redone and then open back up it is that bad it is absolutely cluttered can't get down some aisles because there are boxes in the way and this has been going on for years from what these other reviews show somebody needs to get in there and get something done because this is absolutely ridiculous I will not be returning

Wasn't very happy tonight. This is the second time that I was unable to use my debit card. The machines were down. They need to fix the problem because not everyone carries cash or a checkbook anymore.

The people that work there are nice but they need to open both registers when the line goes halfway to the back of the store

One star is too much for this store they never have anything in stock ever this whole store is a wreck they're understaffed and it's just absolute mess I would honestly drive even though it's a 15 minute walk from my house I will drive all the way to Rio to that store before I go back it's absolutely ridiculous.

I found some stuff in there useful I found some food for my family and some very neat stuff even some stuff for fun in the sun and they even have a red box right outside.

The staff is wonderful and the prices are also, but this particular store is cluttered and crowded by the stock within. Its not the staffs fault but frankly it makes the place a little hard to navigate sometimes.
