I shop this Kroger to get my groceries all the time. Recently Kroger has had everything stocked very nicely. The produce section is always full and the esthetic is pleasing as the produce is there when you first walk in. The people who work there are friendly and always helpful. Today, I got cash back at the self check out and completed forgot to grab it. I walked all the way to my car before noticing and walked back to the office. To my surprise the money was still hanging in the register. And Jess from the office retrieved it for me easily. So thank you Jess! Also goes to show there is a lot of honest people around here!

Kroger of Rochester is one of my favorites.They've figured out how to offer a wide selection, keep their pricing reasonable, and maintain a Classy, Clean, and Organized establishment.Then to top that off, great service and all smiles make my shopping experience most enjoyable and always keep me coming back.The rewards program adds another fine bang for the buck too!

They have great deals, but it seems when they do there isn't enough product to last through the sale. Other than that it's a great place to shop.

Was just denied this deal.Tried to get 3 bags of Doritos, 1 bag of tortilla chips, and 1 jar of the queso in the picture.I was told I had to get ALL chips to get the deal.Is this false advertising, or am I reading the explanation incorrectly?

When all check out registers are closed down which is frequent, This Kroger has extremely rude employees who are there to help customers self check out.Hopefully competition will arrive to Rochester soon.

I have called on multiple occasions about this issue and today was the last straw. I am disabled and on O2 supplementation with severe loss of lung function so most of the time I pay someone $5 to pick up my groceries and prescriptions for me. Every order comes with an over abundance of plastic bag use, and these are large white plastic bags. Today there were more bags with a single item then there were with multiple items, and one of those was a bag with 3 different color bell peppers each in their own clear plastic bag. Total of 13 bags. Also 1 paper bag of frozen items. I spoke with Mary the manager and she made an excuse for every erroneous usage that I pointed out. I explained to her that I have a closet full of white Kroger bags in my closet in the barn because we do not have recycling service here. I also explained that I know that they offer in store recycling but try to remember to bring those WHEN I get a ride into town. I am insulin dependant and also take 14 different medications everyday that all have their own time of day prescribed. I also explained that I understood their cross contamination policy and agreed, however tried to point out the times when it was unnecessary in that order and she then told me that she was not going to be able to assist me anymore and I then ended the phone call. wallyworld is just across the street if anyone is looking for groceries and their is a very fine butcher in town towards the hospital.

They have great staff and are very well trained to perform the jobs they are given and my kids love going here because they always get stickers from the cashier... and just a funny thing...the auto floor buffer will not run you over lol(I have named it joe biden . Lol only because it wanders around and does what is programed to do)) lol don't hate me;)

Store is well laid out, top quality products. Very clean and organized. Workers are friendly and the cashiers are fast! Price point is above most other stores in town, but that is okay. You get what you pay for. Wanted to add, they have a good selection of wine and the meat /deli/ fish section is top notch. Honestly I've fallen into the save money trap of Wal-Mart, But Kroger is a cut above. My hats off to the managers and the rest of the team. I will be shopping there again. Great store. Thanks

Check out was super fast as their were people to guide you in even checkout lines! Got questions at self checkout? No problem! They were there to help!

UPDATE: On November 12 I was in this Kroger to pick up prescriptions and had to stop at the facilities. I slide transfer from my wheelchair to the toilet and when returning to my wheelchair I fell between my wheelchair and the toilet. The reason, the toilet was not properly bolted down. It moved about 6 inches to my right causing me to injure my back worse than it had been. I was rightfully furious. I "went off" on the manager who didn't care, again. He would not fill out an incident report, I had to fill it out by calling customer service.The manager claimed it was not his fault as he didn't know about it. Not My fault he didn't know. Do they not check their facility for safety? It doesn't matter, either way he is responsible as he is the manager. I could have handled it a little better but anger and excruciating pain took over. Although, even my therapist says my anger was justified.Something must be done about this store and the manager. Ever since "Mike" moved from Plymouth to this Kroger the store has gone from decent to bad to horrible to totally unbelievable. The worst is the corporate office does not seem to care what happens to this particular Kroger. Part of me wonders if the corporate office is looking for a reason to close this store. That would be sad as this is the only real grocery in the area.I hope everyone will start making calls to the corporate office about their experience at this Kroger.. Please do not go by my experience, please check it out for yourself. I am positive your experience will not be any better.If I could give it 0 (zero) stars I would. This is the worst Kroger I have ever shopped at. I've been to Kroger's in Fort Wayne, Indy, Peru, Plymouth, LaPorte, Columbia City and everywhere in between. The manager sucks, came from the Plymouth, IN store and has ruined this store. They moved him from Plymouth, should have fired him. I've seen way too many times where the Free Friday product is out of stock til the day after it expires, then suddenly it's in stock. Same with sale items as advised in the ads. This happens every week with at least one product if not several. Coincidences? I doubt it, happens way too regularly.Then there is the issue with the parking lot since it was repaved. The handicap parking was moved farther from the door for no reason. I listened to both reasons given to me on two separate occasions and then checked with friends who are disability advocates and both reasons are not real or true. I don't like being lied to. There was no reason to move the handicap parking..and it needs to be corrected but they refuse. Even corporate doesn't care.Third, I've seen the new manager yell at employees in the aisles of the store. That isn't acceptable. If he wants to yell at an employee it should be done where customers can't see. He has even yelled at me in the parking lot when I told him about the handicap parking. Definitely not acceptable.CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE IMMEDIATELY.....

Employees are always friendly and helpful, quality of meat and produce is good, store is clean and well-maintained. My only frustration is if you shop on Sunday items are sold out/shelves not stocked.This store has gone dramatically downhill, even prior to covid. I shopped there Friday and many shelves were sparsely stocked. I bought a loaf of bread, and within 2 days it was moldy. I also bought corn on the cob, it was spoiled by Monday.

3:00 am and very quiet. Very nice. Except checking out you have to use the self service checkouts, and at 21, 25, 33, 44 items the register makes you stop and wait for an employee to come and do there thing to continue. So if you are shopping like we did it's no fun. But still the alone factor made up for it. Lol

Nice store always shop there but I hate how they allow you to download a coupon and when you go to use it it will have certain days only that they honor it. So you wind up making multiple trips to the store and with gas prices that 99cents your gonna save isn't worth it. I don't always have days off work that I can make it in to the store on those certain days.

Super helpful very friendly. Starbucks made my drink right with great courtesy and happiness. Everybody I passed in the store that work there acted like they wanted to help me find something. If I lived around here this is where I would shop.

Too confusing layout makes no sense. Posts in inconvenient places on the isles. Would think you could measure better and not hsve them a foot in the isle away from the shelves. Too packed. Just pack in more for what.? Doing youselves a disservice with this reset.

Kroger pharmacy is the VERY BEST in Rochester and the best pharmacy I have EVER used in my life! Unfortunately I have quite a few medicines that I have to take daily (and a few times a day for some of them). The pharmacist as well as the techs know me and know my conditions as well as being on top of what meds I take and why. I know I can trust them to have my meds in stock and each of them are filled and ready for pickup a day or 2 before I need to pick them up! If they don't know the answer to any of my questions, they find out! Within my complicated medical delimma's, this is one thing I don't have to worry about and I'm very grateful to them all! The Kroger grocery as a whole is really good also. They could improve in the stocking department. Items on the 'sale' list ( such as buying 5 items of something to get a sale price) should be stocked accordingly..running out of a "sale" item on the 1st or 2nd day of the sale is unacceptable. If it's in the weekly flyer, it should be available. Entire staff is pleasant and helpful. The prices are high compared to Wal-Mart grocery and Save-A lot grocery, that would be my only complaint.

Unhappy with my experience at the Rochester IN kroger today. The starbucks was staffed with only one girl who was swamped with a long line. My order was supposed to be at a discount of $5 off according to a posted advertisement, but the discount was not taken off the price. I went to the customer service desk, since the Starbucks girl was busy, and asked about the error. I was told that I didn't get the discount since I didn't use my kroger plus card. As a regular customer, I'm disappointed that they were unable to help me. I've decided to try shopping elsewhere.
