never hardly a person to help you at checkout. you need to go find them for assistance. they almost freak out if you have a 100 dollar bill. The store is so unorganized and the employees lack training to run this store efficiently. Years ago you would of been greeted by a manager named Nancy that would of improved your day and shopping experience.

We went today around 2-3 pm and the cashier was extremely rude like we were inconveniencing her by asking for help at self checkout. Not only did she ignore us when we asked for help but gave us a dirty look like we were stupid. And walked away.

Other than it being unbearably HOT in this store, the employees are troopers. They had to be suffering something awful but stayed courteous and professional.

All of the employees are friendly and helpful. Never had a problem there. Issues would be that the shelves are not stocked alot of the time....because they don't have the items. Not due to employee's slacking. They don't have the selection that other stores in other towns have I feel like. The other thing, and it HAS been better lately.....is that there is almost ALWAYS a line at the checkout, but there is usually only one cashier. Used to take forever....they have improved lately! Nice Manager and employees. Patient helpful and knowledgeable.

They mainly rely on their self checkout for all the customers, an the staff was rude to me in front of my kids, because I used the self checkout for a price checker because they didn't have a price on the Pokemon cards, but if they had a cashier up there I wouldn't have needed to use the self checkout for a price checker or if they would have all their products priced like their supposed to I also wouldn't have needed to use the self checkout as a price checker. They just have no intelligence if they try to blame me for there negligence.

Employees are friendly, but the store has recently gone significantly down hill. Shelves are always empty of even the most basic items. I tried speaking with their corporate office and got the generic, "thanks for your input". Nothing has improved in at least 2 months. I used to shop here several times a week, now I hardly bother since they never have what I'm looking for. Ran in today in hope of grabbing sour cream. Everything is still empty.

Unless you want your wheels or tires damaged, stay out of their parking lot. The cashiers refuse to open more than 1 register unless 9 or more people are in line. Disgraceful. If you're in a rush dont bother

Not impressed. They have enough employees around the store but the whole place was in disarray! Couldn't tell the clearance items from the other stuff, a lot of empty shelving and like products were scattered to different shelves across the store. Dirty too. Lots of old dusty spider webs hanging off the walls and ceilings. especially in the front right side by the medicine aisle. Oh, and the parking lot on the southeast side of the building is chalk-full of huge potholes and craters! Very nice staff, however!

This store is one of the worst i have ever seen. Shelves constantly bare. Employees don't know what they carry or are supposed to carry. Been in there 3 times days apart to get purina Kitten Chow never have it. The shopping carts are kept outside in all weather. Dreadful place.

It’s okay I’m a block away from the store and they are open 8am to 10 pm every day of the week. Yes they can have a little wait time and may be out of some stuff but it’s a dollar store.

Long waits at checkout. Poor managers. Dirty store. They refused to honor the posted sale price on the shelf. Dont bother shopping here. Go to Akron store.

Sometimes this store is very unorganized and it’s hard to find things you want/need. Another complaint is I feel like they don’t have enough employees to deal with the crowd sometimes.

Most of the staff is kind of weird, there are a few workers I really like who socialize well and who are helpful. I wish the store was kept a bit cleaner. Good location.

Every time I go into this particular location, hardly anything is stocked. The shelves are almost always bare. The things that are left are thrown around and look disheveled. About half the time I find what I need. This place seems to be poorly managed.

Customer service is awesome they are always so nice...store could use some organization..but being the season its expected...still cleaner than most of the ones i have seen in fort wayne..i will return and suggest to friends..

I have nothing against DG, and it's a few blocks from my house. If I'm feeling like grabbing a Mountain Dew 2-liter, I can just walk there. It's pretty awesome, duderino.

This store needs help. Could be a nice store. Always a mess. Floor always filthy nasty dirty. The wait at register is horrible and long. Hardly ever is there m o re than one register open.

Prices are over priced compared to other Dollars general stores that are local. I can buy 2 -'TWO GALLONS oF milk for The price if one at my store. Because we are a small town and there is no competition we are penalized and pay more. This is ONE example, ONE product, this is how they treat their customers cause there is no competive store!

Didn't care much for the one I visited on the road. Couldn't find anything and couldn't figure out the setup. The staff was great though!! Maybe I'll try one in a different location.

They have really cute clothes always on sale. There's usually a wait because they only use one register though

Aside from the actual Dollar General brand "$1.00" items packed in down the middle aisle of the store, prices are no cheaper than Walmart! Not really worth the extra trip if you're already going to Walmart.
