This was a quaint, locally owned diner that we found while visiting Rising Sun, maybe holds 30+ people. The place was clean. Service was good. They have a variety of jelly choices and I'd never heard of some of them. The spinach omelette was very good and it was steamy with every bite. I've never had an entirely hot omelette, not even at home. We were impressed. Employees were very charming. We will return. Now, I need to send a thank you note to add to their wall.

The best of the best. Do NOT be in a hurry. Everything is fresh and local from the incredible turkey to the amazing brisket.Chili? This is literally award-winning chili. One taste tells you why.The owners of this fine establishment are salt of the earth patriotic Americans and the nicest folks you'll meet. So much history and stuff on the walls to look at and you feel as though you've stepped back in time.What a gem! I almost want to keep it to myself, but their commitment to excellence should be shared.

I wouldn’t go here again.The good: friendly waitress, cute little diner with indoor and outdoor seating, very good selection of local jams.The bad: it took an hour to get our breakfast meal and there were only 2 other couples ahead of us when we arrived! And my wife’s omelet was fried to a crisp.

My wife and I came in for breakfast on a Sunday mor ing and were created quickly and in a very friendly manner. The waitress was very personable and attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions.I ordered their spinach, mushroom , bacon and cheese omelette let with rye toast and a side of sausage. The omelette was fantastic and the sausage was phenomenal. It was really cooked very well and the flavor was great. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and she is very particular a out how they are cooked and the Main Street Diner nailed it perfectly. We are going to be in this area for the next 3 months and we will definitely be back.

There isn't really thing I can add that other reviewers haven't already said. A great farm to table restaurant that is charming and fun. We had breakfast here. Both of us had omelettes, they were perfect. I never eat my toast but they had it fixed perfectly. Stop in and enjoy what a diner used to be.

We all ordered water for breakfast, they brought each of us a bottle of water and charged us. Service was very slow there were only 4 of us and only one other table when we ordered. They were out of most jelly on their menu. My husband ordered hash browns and what she brought out of the kitchen didn't look a thing like hash browns. They were paper thin and dark brown, needless to say not edible. This is our 2nd time to have breakfast here and definitely our last.

Absolutely outstanding experience!! Food is cooked to order, not sitting on some steam table so be prepared for a bit of a wait for some fabulous food! Sandy and the staff are as friendly and helpful as can be! They really make you feel at home! We never miss a chance to eat here whenever we are in town! Stop by, you will be glad that you did!

We just spent the weekend in Rising Sun. There were 7 in our group. We ate at the Main Street Diner. The food is amazing but the hospitality couldn't have been better!! The staff are awesome people! Sandy, Jackie and Steve made our weekend very enjoyable! No where else to eat except Main Street Diner in my opinion! THANK YOU SO MUCH! VERY GOOD PEOPLE ❤

Absolute little gem of a diner! Family run with a fairly varied menu. They serve breakfast all day and the rest of the menu was tasty. I recommend the Hillbilly hamburger. Hours are a little funky, so check before you go.

We loved it. We were at the casino for my boyfriend's birthday, we wanted a good breakfast and it was highly recommended. You have to eat outside, but that was cool with us. A local couple shared their table and were very friendly,. The food was awesome and and very reasonable. We will be back!
