It's convenient. Hence 2 stars. The produce is TERRIBLE. A small cauliflower with mold is $3.99. (They're $2.99 at Kroger, without the mold). I can't find 3 sweet potatoes that haven't dried out, or 2 yellow onions without bad spots. The white onions looked okay but not for $2.19 per pound! When I went by there today every single package of 18 eggs on the shelf had either expired a week ago or would expire in 2 days.What's really bad is that if you don't double check every single price at the checkout lane you can easily end up paying an extra 15% on top of the high prices. Last time I was there I corrected the prices on half the stuff in my cart and brought my total bill down from $71 to $60. Of course, I didn't get back any money that I'd spent the previous week when the same thing happened but I didn't notice it until I checked my receipt at home.If Kroger opened a store on this side of town, I think Needler's Market would go out of business immediately. There's absolutely nothing to recommend it besides convenience.

This store had a container of milk that was 7 days expired on it's shelves. This particular error occurs with ridiculous frequency at this store.Who controls inventory?Apparently, if we disregard the proposition that everyone there is flatly incompetent, we assume that they hoped some unsuspecting, less educated person would buy the product without looking at the (microscopic) print on the container.I guess what the poor, uneducated consumer doesn't know won't hurt them.

Although many things are overpriced compared to the other two stores in town the meat selection is great. I was able to get a $45 ham for less than $10. Like it when they send their coupons refrigerator magnet in the mail. It always has fantastic deals

The big guy with the dark hair at the meat counter was more than helpful he really knew how to carefully handle and inspect my meat.He wrapped it beautifully before giving me the meat.He even gave me a couple great ways to prepare my meat before it entered my wife's oven she is really pleased thank you Mr Meat Man.

Food quality and selection is wonderful big spacious store easy to maneuver around without aisle congestion and aggravation during visits is usually minimal most days ridiculous pricing is the main issue I've seen so far and I can't get beyond that some of the staff is not very friendly makes me feel I'm a bother if I ask questions or need assistance better deals and specials would be helpful and I would visit more if I could afford to

Update: After posting a not so good review, the company actually reached out to me. I must say I was impressed by that. I have since gone back and the produce has definitely gotten better! So thank you NEEDLERS! Well done!I prefer to shop at stores other than the big stores but...I stopped buying produce here. Too many times now I've been disappointed with the quality. They do however have some items that other stores do not carry. So I DO still shop here, I'm just selective over what I buy.

I went in to get two very specific items french fries and a banana creme pie. As it turned out both were on sale with their loyalty program of which I am a member. The store was quite busy. There was a bit of a wait to check out but other than that it was a positive experience overall.

The store is outdated in aesthetic and is a little overpriced. You've got to watch the best buy dates and the prices from shelf label to what the register actually scans. Understaffed deli should be shut down. definitely don't trust the freshness of anything in deli pre packaged. The hot foods are double stacked in warmer which doesn't allow the hot foods to remain the correct temperature to avoid food bacterial growth because its not designed to heat stacked containers .. staff is fairly friendly and try their best the management needs to do better..

Not too busy normally. Some of the items are out dated, so check the expiration date, on cheese orange juice, and some of the canned goods. Deli is always fresh. Only thing on the west side of town. Good when you are wanting to avoid Wal Mart.

I love this store. It has a fantastic deli with many delicious options. The people that work in the deli are especially nice! One lady whipped up some slaw for me since they were out. She told me to come back in a few & she would have some ready....& she did! The people that work in the front are just as kind! Some items are a bit expensive, but they will also have some pretty good sales. It's all about balance right?😁

Needle's is not a huge market so variety of selection can be limited, but it is adequate as a "neighborhood market".Prices are generally higher than other area grocery stores, even when on sale. However, they do have some very good prices on a handful of items every week. Their clearance or just expired / expiring soon items are usually reduced enough to warrant buying a few for stocking up (for example, things that can be successfully and safely refrigerated or frozen to extend shelf life and items such as bottled or canned foods that have only reached their "best by" date but are actually good for much longer.)Their weekly coupon specials that are available via the special mailing (with the refrigerator magnet) are very good, but only if you happen to be going there anyway. (There is usually a limit of 1 or 2 per customer. They usually require a minimum purchase. Usually the minimum purchase negates the coupon savings because of the overpricing of the other items in the order.)You have to have a shopper's card to take advantage of their sales, but once you sign up you don't have to carry it along. Your phone number on account is sufficient.Pay close attention at the checkout, especially with clearance items because very often they place the clearance stickers wherever they want to instead of over the regular bar code where it should be, causing the item to be rung up at regular [full normal] price.In conclusion, if you are a careful shopper and not in a hurry you can save money at Needler's.

Always check the expiration dates as I frequently find expired products. Good place to grab a few missing ingredients to make dinner. Staff is friendly.

Prices are outrageous! Can't believe they are taking advantage of people on that end of town. As a subsidiary of Kroger, you would 🤔think they would have better deals. Not everyone knows that I guess so they just pay it. Everything is at least $1-$1.50 higher then everywhere else! Shameful. I'll never go there unless it's for maybe 1 item and it's an emergency or something. Crazy stupid high prices!!! Wow.

Very expensive place to shop and on top of that, they wouldn't accept my dad's medicare food card for food. This is the very last place I'd recommend anybody to go shopping at.

Prices are kinda high on everything, HOWEVER if you're just going for the sales you won't be disappointed. Their Sales are amazing! They also have a great fresh meat section and a wonderful deli with a good sized varied of lunch meats, cheeses and salads. They also will give your younger children a free cookie at the deli when they ask. I do almost all of my shopping here, it's convenient and rarely busy if your a late night shopper since they're open 24 hours.

The store is clean and well maintained, the staff is always pleasant. However there is one downside the prices have been raised as of lately, this is somewhat understandable as they are a small town grocery and not a large chain. It seams everyone has been raising their prices amid this pandemic.

We’ve now tried to shop there 3 times to buy products and each time we’ve purchased something that either had mold inside or was rancid tasting. It’s a shame too, would love if this “fresh market” actually sold fresh food….
