I’ve had an incredible addiction to smoked jalapeño poppers and chicken thighs for several months now... My local Save-a-Lot has provided everything at rock-bottom prices for me and my family. Cream cheese, pepper Jack cheese, jalapeño peppers, and bacon are always available at the lowest price point in town, and I’m there three days a week to tear it up! They even carry half gallons of my favorite sweet tea!

They have good prices and a decent selection. Lots of generic brands but also some name brand stuff too. I used a $5 coupon at checkout and recieved another $5 coupon! Win! :) They are located at the north end of the College Square Mall next to Dollar Tree and behind Pizza Hut

Getting very expensive like other stores it's a good thing there are other options not too far away meat prices at Save-A-Lot have gotten to where I can I can't afford to buy any meat whatsoever from there anymore shopping elsewhere

The Rensselaer IN Save-a-Lot is much better in that they are much roomier and have more, better product than the Roselawn, IN Save-a-Lot. Still, even though the name says Save-a-Lot, it's still not far off in prices than Strack & Van Til or Jewel. Maybe a few cents here or there. So you're just better off shopping around for great deals and clipping coupons. But if you're out in the Rensselaer area shopping, that Save-a-Lot is your best bet! And it is much cleaner!

The girl who waited on me was really polite and helped me bag my groceries and asked one of the young men to help me out with them and put them into my truck..I'm disabled and on oxygen and the scooter was broken so I had to walk the store and I was short of breath when I checked out..
