Iv just started taking our border collie in Animal Care and was very surprised to be able to get in short notice. Pricing is very reasonable and staff is great and the doctor as well iv been told by many different animal hospitals that they are not taking anymore new patients or its a week's to get in . Zero stars if it was an option! Beyond disgusted with what recently happened! My in laws had taken their newish cat to them in to get spayed! They thought she may be pregnant but wasn't too sure! Without any notice at all, they aborted all 5 kittens and only had a week left until birth! No notice or a phone call until after the procedure was done! You should be ashamed of yourself for doing that! Never will I bring my pets to your location! I'd rather pay Purdues high end rates then have any of my pets be in your care!

Much cheaper than Rensselaer pet care. Not as personal, which I would have liked to ask some questions about my cat while I was there, but it was more of a drop off and pick back up later type situation, as I was having her vaccinated and fixed that day. Maybe next time I can interact with the actual vet and ask the questions I need answered.

I chose this clinic for my dog because I heard great things. I’m so glad I did just that. I know that my furry baby is in great care. Very friendly staff that takes the extra time to explain situations when needed. Very convenient and affordable. She knows how a true veterinarian clinic should be. Dr.Yerk and her staff are amazing! We have been taking our fur babies there for more than 10 years! She is excellent with our pets and truly has a love for animals. Recently, one of our pups was sick. Took him in and she did surgery on him that day. (Obstructed bowel). She took wonderful care of him and kept me posted on his progress. He is home and doing well now! Dr.Yerk has always had fair prices and wants the best for your pet. Thank you to her and her staff for providing excellent care!

We had to bring our 23 year old kitty in to be put to sleep. Dr. Yerk was very caring, compassionate and helped us through our tough decision and final time with our dear pet. We've been to her Animal Care Center in the past and they've always been very professional, helpful and reasonable when it comes to cost. We highly recommend them.

I brought my 12.5 year old Rottweiler in to be put to sleep. Even though she never had to be muzzled in the previous 9 years when she saw her other vet, Dr Yerk insisted on muzzling her before she put her to sleep. It basically looked like her and her receptionist were wrestling her. I offered to hold her but I wasn’t allowed. It was traumatic and awful and I wish I had gone to my regular vet. I only went to Dr Yerk because she cremates and that’s what I wanted. She was uncompassionate and I’ll never recommend her to anyone. She may be cheap but there are much better vets.

Great people really love animals. This was the first time I took Trixie and Luna to dr. Yerk, Trixie for shots and Luna to get spayed and her dew claws removed. Everyone from the receptionist to the helpers to dr Yerk was fantastic! I saw a couple bad reviews which makes me think the reviewers were having a bad day and took it out on the staff, I could not have asked for a better experience, everyone there was so great and treated Trixie and Luna as if they were their own, and the prices were really reasonable. I would not be afraid take my animals back for any and everything they needed and I will recommend them to everybody, I'd like to thank dr Yerk and her staff for making Trixie and Luna's visits so comfortable

I have known the staff at Animal Care Center all my life. We had our Golden Retriever pass away during Memorial Day weekend due to old age 2 years ago. I left a message for Dr. Yerk because we wanted him cremated. She took him on a holiday weekend for us. She even sent us a sympathy card later that week. You can't find many vets these days that will give you a call on a weekend let alone a holiday.

This woman knows her stuff, this is the only vet we trust we drive from illinois to go here, highly recommended, great service! Shes saved our dogs lifes, our eldest dog is on her way out but dr yerk helped figure out how to give us some more time with her.. we are forever grateful.

Dr Yerk is absolutely, hands down, the greatest and most reliable veterinarian you could ask for. My family has had no less than 15 animals at a time, so over the span of the last 20 years she has seen 40+ just with us. She is so personal with them and she treats them like they are her own. She does everything in her power to help any animal that comes through her door.If you don't go to Dr. Yerk, I just hope the vet you go to is as great as her. She can diagnose any situation and get them taken care of mostly in just one days time. I forgot to mention, SHE IS AFFORDABLE! She knows that not everyone is able to just make money appear, so she has her prices and probably would help you out with a payment plan. As I said though, she is affordable and the best choice you could ever make for your animal baby.Thank you Dr. Jan Yerk for all that you do!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the most reddiculou vet experience ever for a nail trim on my mastiff there are 2 elderly ladies working and visibly not in good health either moving like turtles had no clue or the proper equipment and definitely not any experience to be at this job the vet her self would not even come to the room to assist and to top it off there were no other patients there I had to just leave this vet office is the worst unless they are going to treat puppy's and kitten s unbelievable i was so mad when I left there they completely lost my bussiness for good terrible just terrible I said ok so what do I do just let his feet fall off or get infected..they just looked at me and well I don't know so ignorant NEVER AGAIN.

Worst experience ever after taking 12 animals to this office. Please find another vet office the staff members are terrible abusive to the animals mine were kicked in their carrier out the door horrible people ( Bonnie and I think Maybe Becky not sure big lady dark hair sometimes shes like nodding out at the counter.)
