Family Dollar is one of my favorite destinations when out looking to impulse buy or get decent prices on essentials. I'm a forever and always, born and bred small town gal and there is just something about this store and it's companion stores like DG (You ain't in a small town unless the place has one of each lol) that just feel inviting. The familiarity, the memories of being a kid and getting picked up at school by your favorite aunt or uncle and feeling so happy and carefree as they cruise you around to all the local shops for candy and cheap toys. What felt better as a child than someone you loved dearly spending the day with you that you didn't see regularly? Only thing better was when they smiled down at you after passing through the dinging doors and said, "Go on now honey, pick out whatever you want!"

I was so impressed with how the store was kept clean and organize! Let me say that again! I'm totally speechless! Also the women who was working on July 23 2021 at 11am was just a very kind and amazing! This was Nothing I have ever experienced before with family dollar store in the Muncie Indiana area. Well done Parker City store 112! To the lady your amazing!

The manager lady with short hair that always is there but I wouldn't say working but is there is very very rude it's like everytime I have to get rung up by her she's always rude and acts like she has some sorta authority over you like she really needs trained better or replaced this family dollar needs a lot of human resource problems that do t get handled I'm assuming cuz it's in parker city and noone ever does anything to change the businesses around here for the bettef

I have been sick for three years and have not been in any stores for two years.Could not wait to go in and do some shopping ,but my grandson and I went in so ,I couldn't get around,so I sent him with a list.when I got ready to go , to the register the lady was so RUDE.We put are things up on the shelve,And I started to tell her how i was and how I've not been in a store for two years,she never said anything to me she didn't say even thank you,have a good day or anything. She should be out of there.SAD part I heard she is the Manager and Parker is a small town where everyone knows everyone,..I heard that if she has a bad day,you will have one too. NO stars for her.

Staff very rude disrespectful and don’t assist in finding things, this staff is very rude and disrespectful when it comes to shopping in the store and want to judge someone based on there family’s shopping experience also get online and talk trash about the shoppers to people they proclaim to know... will never shop there again until they fire and hire new and improved management that learn better Customer service skills

Store is always a mess, hard to get through the aisles. Very indifferent employees, some would rather play on their cell phone then help. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but surely it can be done so much better.

I go here to buy paper products, cleaning supplies and everyday things I need. The prices are good and the products are good as well. The only compliant I have is there are isles that you cannot get down due to them having boxes stacked everywhere and that happens nearly every time I go there. Guess the prices are good enough that that doesn't keep me away.

Jerry Morgan did not know Family Dollar did such poor business that they couldn't cash a hundred dollar bill when you are spending $40 with them. They were very rude. Went to Farmland General Dollar and they were very pleasant and gave back change.

It's nothing special. It's often crowded with carts of merchandise that needs to be stocked. It's not particularly clean or nice looking, but sometimes they have good deals. I check here for things like cheap plasticware for picnics of discount Christmas decor.

Very good customer service, always looking nice since the new manager started. They're always willing to go out of their way to help out. I shop at family Dollar for this reason.

Well it like this I'm there at least 5 times a week.as it is I have only been in our Walmart 1 time this.year and dollar stores and Walmart are about all we have left in our town and at Walmart I can never get what I want and would end up stopping at family dollar the staff are the best

Great place to shop for all types of household items. You can also buy grocery items at this store. The store also carries and sells clothing items, undergarments, and shoes/flip flops/sandals. Family Dollar store is reasonably priced on some items to overpriced on other items. In Portland, IN your options are pretty limited on where you can purchase grocery items. Your options are Family Dollar, Dollar General, Fisher's Meat Market, and Wal Mart. So you could make a shopping list and all stores are within a ten minute drive from each other and you could be able to find the right price for each item. That is one of the nice things about living in a smaller city.
