Amanda did a great job grooming my matted black cat. She asked questions about the cat, her history and explained what she'd do-shave, bath and clip nails. Cat looked lije a lion when done! Will use her again BEFORE the matting gets so bad. Recommend highly. Cost was a bit more than I expected, but great job done

Aubrey did a very good job on my poodle. He does not have the best hair since I dye it frequently. 😅 and I do not do a very good job grooming him myself. She always asks about them and is very excited to see my pets. Thank you Aubrey!

Amanda, who works at the Portage Indiana store is my go-to groomer for my cats. She also goes out in the mobile grooming station vehicle to groom. Amanda is a Certified Master Groomer. She is knowledgeable regarding care for your cats and very skilled at what she does. Amanda has done a fantastic job with my cats.

I would give them less than 1 star if possible. Made a an appt for a cut and bath and when I get there oh sorry someone just wrote bath. They can not accommodate me. Do not recommend them. Ever since my normal groomer left there it’s sucks.

I have been using smoochie pooch for a few months now. I am writing this review so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.I had no complaints with them until recently.My dog Chuey is a yorkie. He started having seizures a couple of years back. Smoochie pooch never asked me about his health, so I didn't think to tell them. Well, the day of his appointment right before the groomer arrived, he had a seizure. When she knocked on my door, I informed her of it.My dog was lethargic on the floor, not able to walk when she came. The groomer was so understanding. She told me to call and make another appointment.I didn't call right away, but I did call a day or 2 later. I called to see if I had to pay anything since he had a seizure. I thought maybe a cancelation fee or something, and I was going to give the groomer a little tip. But nope... smoochie pooch decided to charge me 125 dollars for a cut that he didn't get. The excuse she gave me is that the groomer didn't put in any notes and that there is no paperwork of him having seizures.Well, smoochie pooch, it's not my fault that your groomer didn't write any notes and that she really wasn't as sympathetic as I thought she was. Also, how was I supposed to know about giving you guys any paperwork on my dog when you guys never asked. MY DOG HAS SEIZURE AND ITS ON RECORD AT THE VETS. ( I am not a psychic so I don't know when he will have a seizure.)But I guess... Merry Christmas, smoochie pooch. I hope you get yourself something nice with my 125 dollars.

The booking process to get my dog in was a little rough. I initially called to make the appointment, then called a week later to change the appointment but they couldn’t seem to find me on the schedule. Then, when I arrived for my appointment, they couldn’t find me on the list for the second time. Ultimately it resulted in him being there for an extra few hours because they had to “squeeze him in”. But outside of the schedule mix up, they did a GREAT job in my goldendoodle!! And he didn’t seem traumatized coming out. I gave them a cut request they had never done before and he came out looking amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

Great customer service. The girls at the shop were so nice and welcoming. They welcomed my energetic loving pit mix with open arms and did such an amazing job. I’d def recommend and be coming back on schedule for my baby girl Mariposa.

At first was under the impression they did doggy "cuts", until this guys appointment day. I originally wanted a "teddy bear" cut but the woman said she couldn't do those, and they also don't do shaves, and that they only trim. Told the boss man, and he went inside to grab him and cancel his appointment. A man came outside and explained why they don't do these cuts and even though it isn't a short cut, it's apparently bad for pomeranian hair. They weren't happy someone gave us the wrong info. I thanked him for educating me, as I've only had him about a week. and they promised he would still look cute. We proceeded with his cut, and OH MY GOSH was he adorable. They did an amazing job. His coat is soo much softer (they also did nails, and even cleaned his butt-hole lol). He's a super fancy, clean pup now and we will be taking him back again ❤

Mostly important I was impressed that the groomer that waited on CoCo explained every detail of what she was gonna do..when I picked her up.. I was very pleased..so I do have an appointment for November 2023 already set up. Thanks again for your gentleness with coco

Would not recommend. What they did to our cat was unbelievable. The cats tail was NOT matted nor was he matted to the point of needing to be completely shaved. We've gone to other places when he had mats and they were able to attend to him without totally shaving off his entire beautiful coat. Now the poor guy is totally stressed out and acting weird. It was not at all what we wanted and for the money they charge it is absolutely absurd. Go somewhere else.

Every time I bring my little evo for a haircut they always did a very good job. My little evo can be a grumpy grandpa when getting a haircut, and I'm so glad that they are very patient with him when he starts acting up. highly recommend them.

Love this place. My dog always sleep so clean and feel so much softer. Love the pampered pet program they have for every 2weeks appointments. It saves me a lot of money and helps out with the maintenance of his coat. My dog been going to Morgan for about 9 months now and I always get compliments on his grooming. You can tell she loves what she does.

They were amazing with my pit bull. Nail trims have always been traumatizing for us both. This was her first salon nail day and she was happy and seemed to be just fine with it. My pups Loved Smoochie Pooch. Winnie got her spa day and came out looking like the princess she is. Scrappy got his nails done which was a challenge for us. She had them clipped and smoothed in no time. We def. Will be using Smoochie Pooch again!
