Took my dog to be stripped they did a terrible job, they can’t stip wires!The stripped my WFT 4 times and had his coat all out of shape, clipped areas that were to be stripped so they turned colors then lied about doing it. I should’ve listened to my Vets office and not taken him there, totle rip off!

I'm really upset at having to leave this review- I was a pretty regular client there, up until they continued to upcharge me, despite my telling them EXACTLY what I wanted at drop off, AND confirming price.Here's the thing- these dogs, they're my kids. I would and have, paid a buttload of money for and on them. What I absolutely will not stand for, is that mind set being taken advantage of, which is unfortunately what was being done. How does 2 dogs, who are priced at $66 each, turn into a $200 bill? And what am I supposed to do? I told them at drop off that I would not be doing any add ons, nothing additional, JUST their "basic" groom of $66 each. I show up to get them, and the groomer gives me the total, and when I balk, she says, "Oh, we did extra brushing for them both, it's only and extra $18 each" - Right. Thank you. But I didnt ask for that, in fact, I asked for the exact opposite, which was NOTHING ADDITIONAL.This happened on severeal occations, despite telling them at check in what I wanted, and what I budgeted for for this trip.I work in VetMed, and was referring all my clients to them, but no longer... Why? Because 3 different clients told me that the same thing happened to them.Here's the thing- If my dogs we're not groomed on a regular basis, were matted/aggressive/ect, then I could try to excuse this practice- but my dogs get groomed every 6 weeks, and I brush them at home every day. And I certainly know the condition of my clients' dogs.Its a red flag to me, when they cant be bothered to call or text to ask you about adding on serevicees- they just do them, and hold you responsible for paying.And, dont get my wrong, my dogs always looked great, but not doubled in price great.

I took my husky here back when it was Gordon's. After moving back to the area and seeing the change to Smoochie Pooch I was nervous to try them. My husky is an old lady now, and hates baths. She is not an easy client. All the groomer here do an excellent job with her, and she doesn't fight me to come to the groomers now. She is always brushed out very well and smells great.

Had an appointment scheduled on a Monday. Broke my rib and couldn’t drive . Called Monday morning to tell them, and was told 24 hour notice! I have Er paperwork to prove it. Asked to speak to a manager and the lady hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and was told I had my account marked against me for the missed visit! I will not be back ever!

A little disappointed. When i made appointment, gave them the breed, hair type and weight of my dog. Was told due to type of hair and size of dog it would take about 3 hrs and was given a price. Dropped dog off and was again told it would take roughly 3 hrs. I received a text 1-1/2 hours later dog was done. Husband picked up dog and was told it was $20.00 more than quoted due to size and hair type. When he got homehe was still leaving excess hair. Two days later, barely started combing him and had excessive amounts of hair filling brush with every brush.

We love this salon! We had the hardest time finding a groomer that our Tank felt comfortable with. Kelsie is an absolute gem with him and he loves getting groomed now! Ashley grooms our husky, Piper, and she always looks amazing! I recommend Smoochie Pooch to everyone looking for a groomer. All the staff here are amazing. ❤️❤️❤️

If i could give a - ⭐️ for this place I would! This place has an unfair policy. My mom had an appt to get her dog groomed and since she ended up sick and had No way of calling or cancelling her appt they STILL charged her a no call /show fee. Tell me please.. HOW CAN U CALL AHEAD TO CANCEL WHEN YOUR UNCONSCIOUS? Its not something you can call ahead about...Yeah I'd like to cancel today's appt because I plan on being unconscious today thank you! How stupid is that? I understand a groomer needs to get paid but that policy is not a fair one. You, the reader of this review how would you feel if this happened to you? It may seem minor or petty to you but think about it... In an emergency would you think to have a family member call and cancel your appt esp if they (other family)dont know about the appt? And you cant communicate because your unconscious.

Our regular groomer was booked up too far in advance, so I called Smoochie Pooch for a trim for our LhasoApso. They said they had an opening and the price would be $65. It was higher than our usual groomer, but we were willing to pay it. My husband took the dog in and they said our LhasoApso would be done in a couple of ours. Three hours later they called and said she was done. They added on an extra $10 because they said our dog had tangles. That was not true. Her fur had been brushed before taking her. There is a possibility of a couple of small ones in what we call her armpits, but that should have been included in the grooming and cut away. When my husband was handed our dog, she smelled worse than when she went in. She smelled like a dog that was kept outside in a filthy kennel. I looked at the receipt and they didn't express her glands either, which has always been included in all of our previous dogs groomings and this dog's by other groomers. $75 to get back a stinky dog with only part of the grooming done is not good business! I have friends who have also had bad experiences with this place. Like us, they said they won't be going back to this place either.
