Dear Meijer, I LOVE how you run your bakery / cake decorating operation - you have the best cakes at the best prices and the fact that you actually allow your cake decorators freedom to be creative with the designs is awesome! The decorators here made me a beautiful cake and it was only $20, can't beat that! Thank you so much for making my baby's party so special and for sparing me from having to make a cake which would have definitely cost me more to make than $20! ☺️💕

I always like Meijer...It's clean,the people will help you faster there ( than some people at other places)...The Meijer on 38th st. I ask a manager curtain thing I was wanting, She walked with me to get it( I could not fine it).I told her I want all of the product on the shelf. She ask if I wanted a case ,she had one in the back...She went out of her way to help me.Great job .....

At the self checkout I was pulling my coupons out and sorting through them… I noticed there were a few sitting on the checkout so I picked those up and was looking through them when the attendant came up to me and told me I couldn’t use coupons that were left behind and preceded to take all of my coupons. Even the ones I brought with me that were connected to my MPerks. I told her most of them were mine and her response was that there was no way to tell which ones were mine and which ones were left behind so she just walked away with all of them. I had a $10.00 off coupon I needed to use. This isn’t the first time a self check out attendant stole my coupons. Another time I was using my reward points and she stopped me from using multiple rewards at once. She said it was against the rules… why would the app give me the option to use multiples if it wasn’t allowed? She proceeded to remove my rewards and told me to use them next time. I normally don’t have any problems but it’s getting kinda old. Protect your coupons with your life at this Meijer. I have two small children so I couldn’t take the time to address this with a manager but if it happens a third time, I’ll definitely be looking to get some answers.

I like this Meijer and visit often even though I live right behind the Camby Meijer. This one is larger and has nicer looking produce than mine. The store is always clean and usually well stocked.My only complaint is using the app. I prefer using Shop & Scan on the app. Not only for the speedy checkout but because it tells me if there's an available coupon for an item I just scanned.However, I'd say that 20-25% of the time, the Shop & Scan feature takes forever to load, will Scan items multiple times then buffer, randomly close, or crash completely in the middle of a shopping trip. I've been told that it works better on their Wi-Fi. I don't use public Wi-Fi. I've also been told that reception is spotty in some parts of the store. But all my other apps work fine, so I don't know why this one doesn't. Also, I rarely have these problems at the Camby store.

They have the best produce. And baked breads. Lots of choices of desserts and ice cream. Seafood always looks fresh. Huge varieties of sauces and ethnic foods. The store is always clean.

I had heard they had patszki. This was my first visit at this location. Couldn't believe the sweets were at the entry. Price was very good, patszki were just as they should be. I need to go back as it was less than a minute visit.

The Meijer in Plainfield, I always go thru the self check out the other day I told the attendant I changes my mind on an item handed it to him he rolled his eyes even though they just stand there doing nothing put leaning or on their phone...if you have something heavy they never offer to scan it for you...too much to ask I guess to much work

This is my favorite Meijer in the area. They always have what I'm looking for, and the lines at checkout haven't been too long. That's really all you can ask of grocery stores. We just visited during their back to school sale and picked up a bunch of office supplies. The best stuff seems to come out around this time of year.

Update (May 22,2022): the store has increased it's inefficiency by adding more self-checkouts that are always backed up and fewer actual cashiers. The prices have not decreased and we now have to bag our own groceries. If we are providing half of the service, we should receive some compensation.Review 1 (2021): The store is decent, but there are not enough lanes with actual human cashiers available. Most visits are frustrating, due to the amount of time necessary to checkout from lack of employees. Hire some people, this store is busy constantly.

Disappointed when told at pickup, my online order for a turkey was not in stock. Person told me they were sold out. I went inside & found plenty of turkeys. What's up with this store? Is it every Meijer pickup store's policy to deny items at pickup? Very disappointed!

They need to update their website/Google information. I called at 9:30 asking about cashing a payroll check. I was expecting for them to say, "We stopped at nine."I got, "2018."Do better.

I would definitely consider this product pet friendly. It doesn't seem to phase my 2lb and 4lb dogs much more than the cold already does. A little goes a long way. Even if it says pet friendly paws are washed and dipped in a bit of utter butter/bag balm afterwards just to be safe.

Meijer gone down hill, Prices increase but you are expected to bag and check groceries, counters not big enough, employees in deli always standing, talking but do not have enough help to cook rotisserie chickens is what I was told. Really maybe if they quit chatting and actually worked. Ordered script Friday for stomach pain, it is Monday I am told I can get by 2 pm. What is happening? Should we have to wait on prescribed medication? I can not believe you can’t have extra bottle on hand. Having stomach pain bad enough what if was more dangerous situation. Believe me I leave comments all time, no one responds.!!!Sad what our world has become and we are expected to accept this! I left Kroger, I can leave Meijer. Maybe we should all start shopping small and quit giving our money where unappreciated.One month later purchased a package of hamburger on 12 April. It was not discounted. Went to use it on 13 April. It was brown and had a foul odor I called spoke with Aaron., He continued to ask me what the expiration date was if I bought it at a discount, When you buy hamburger, it should be good for 2 to 3 days without turning brown, Have had this issue with Meat, And the milk is always 2 to 3 days away from expiration if it doesn’t already have a discount tag on it, It is due to one supplier,Why does it continue to happen?And if Meat is going to go bad the following day, it should not even be in the Meat case!Who wants to buy meat to use the following day and then it Is spoiled!This has been a continuous problem for the past few months,I was told I could exchange the hamburger,Just a note try and have a little better attitude with your customers, Aaron ,I felt like it was a bother for him to come to the phone, His demeanor was not customer friendly!!This was great when it first open you never ran into these problems, What is going on?

Plainfield Indiana location, always clean, great variety of produce and reasonable prices. The only problem is the teenagers that seem to think it's a playground 😕 I also made the mistake of going on a Sunday evening and the parking lot was overrun with cars, trucks, and motorcycles! I found it scary, no one would move out of my way, the were up next to my truck and I did not feel safe and not one single police officer there. I'm open to people enjoying their vehicles and congregating with others who share the same love of fancy cars. But not when they have no regard for anyone else.

Meijer in Plainfield, IN has the best employees. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Brenda L., Phil, Ethan, JoAnn and more are stellar employees and deserve high accolades from their managers and corporate. They make my shopping trips and checkouts easy.

So glad they finally updated this store! They took way too long to do a full remodel. They let it get grossly outdated before they finally cared enough to do something. The good thing about meijer is you can buy groceries that you just can't find at the neighboring Walmart. The only really bad thing about this store is that they don't care about their employees at all.

They had a thousand different slots for medicines & 80% had nothing in the slots. Can't ever find someone to help. No cashier lanes open even for disabled customers. Their prices suck. The "cashiers" that are suppose to help do not have the necessary tools with them to help you & have thumbs stuck you know where. I'm never coming back. Walmart & their variety of colorful customers...ummm...wonderful customers are awesome compared to what this place has. Even if you do have to check yourself out.
