This Kroger was huge very clean Kroger in Plainfield the meat was fresh and so much to select from very organized and the bathrooms were very clean almost spotless I was amazed.There was only one thing wrong the lady in the youth scan was very rude but everything else was wonderful

As a partial resident of Plainfield, I’ve always enjoyed visiting this Kroger, as it is very well managed. Now is the new owner of an electric vehicle I greatly appreciate the addition of electric chargers in the parking lot. Thank you for being early adopters and for adding another reason for us to frequent Kroger.

The Plainfield IN Kroger is the best grocery store bakery around! I have them make my son’s birthday cake every year. It’s ALWAYS fresh and delicious! It’s like homemade! You can tell they actually take pride in what they do! Thanks so much

Thw store itself still has good selection but on today's visit they overcharged for my deli cheese. I took the receipt back in and waited thru the line again and was told the needed the bag of cheese. I'd already spent more time than I wanted to there. She was very unpleasant about it. Had I made it the cashiers problem they would have fixed it but I was trying to be courteous to the other shoppers as well. I'd rather go to the Avon store they have a higher level of customer service.

Good for a quick in and out trip. Has good deals and is usually the best place to buy soft drinks. The produce section is also alright but can be sparse or not so great at times. The Kroger branded ice cream is usually very good as well and is very reasonably price.

I am looking forward to stores realizing that customers don't like self checkout lanes and prefer a cashier and a person other than yourself to bag your groceries. Please listen to your customers. Kroger, I am not the only one who wants you to go back to the way it was.

I personally choose not to shop here. Overall, the store seems pretty outdated and dirty. The last time that I shopped there I bought a bagged salad and got food poisoning, so now I avoid shopping here.

I have too many horror stories to list, most recent, they changed my Click-List order from 2 to 28 pounds of salmon and added $101.83 to my total. The very next day, they charged my debit card for another $101.83. They are stealing and lying! My IMCU credit union says as long as charge is pending, there is nothing i can do. If i didnt notice, they would keep that money.

The hiring manager “debbie” doesn’t know how to do her job one bit, not to mention how she is NEVER available. She set up an interview with me and when I went in to go do it she wasn’t even there, why set up an interview if you’re not even going to show up for it? Not to mention everytime I called afterward to speak to her about my interview she was never there. Get a grip and do your job Debbie.

Weekly ad is misleading, buy 6 save .50 each, what they do not tell you is each page is a different sale so you have to buy 6 from each page. They make you jump thru hoops to save a quarter on their over inflated prices. They are buying up grocery stores all over the USA (Record Profits) and inflating prices so the customer is paying for them. Senior citizens don't have a chance, there's no savings for them. They don't need 6 of anything and a lot of them don't have a smart phones to scan bar codes or clip coupons. Customer service is non existence. It's Aldi's or Meijer for me from this point out. Kroger Plainfield In. is the absolute worse, never have sale items stocked, no cashiers, no customer service period.

Staff here is great, but this Kroger has really gone downhill. 6:30 PM on a weeknight, half the self checkouts are closed and all the cashier lines are closed. I thought more self checkout lines were supposed to make things faster. Looks like they are just inconvenient and cutting cashier jobs.

My family and I use the Click List for pickups, and we have gotten nothing but great service. Updates/Substitutions are sent to me in a timely manner. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very clean store.

Gabriela, who assisted in the floral section, was extremely helpful. She prepared our flower selection very well with the vase we picked. She paid great attention to detail and it turned out great. She deserves five stars!!!

I had the worst experience with the Kroger pick up...they messes up my order I had declined two of the substitutions they offered due to the item not being available, I clicked no so I wouldn't be charged.. they charged me for 1 of the items and didn't give it to me and the other item they gave it to me but didn't charge me? Not sure how that happened..I go to pick up my order and had to wait almost 30 mins for the checker to process my payment she forgot my pin and had to come back out and get it again...and on top of that they forgot my 2 cases of water. Which made me have to drive all the way back the next day wasting gas I don't have to waste and paying for food I didn't want and didn't receive I will never ever come back to this kroger. Poor customer service never once was I offered an apology for my inconvenience...never once did someone patch me to a manager to handle the complete lack of there job responsibilities...

Horrible experience with Plainfield Indiana Store Management for a friend of mine. They charged her multiple times for Clicklist and she tried for days to get someone to refund the charges and they didn't care to call her back. The various individuals she spoke with treated her like she wasn't telling the truth and could have cared less to go the extra mile to help her. She ended up having to physically go into the store and still basically didn't really believe her. They wanted more proof than what she was showing them from her credit card account on her phone. Instead of them working to fix the issue, she had to spend so much time jumping through hoops when they should have done it for her since it was their mistake but they made it her problem. Still, after more than a week of trying, calling and faxing a ton of paperwork, nobody has yet to call her and money hasn't been refunded. I will never use this store again. Have been a customer of the store since it opened. Sad that customer service is non existent here anymore.

I've been going to this Kroger for 20 years. Up until recently I've had great experiences . Today I was looking for something and it was a rare time I needed help . I could feel the staff consciously ignoring me as they could tell I was searching for someone. Then once I found what I was looking for (with no help) I walked up to the cashier Hannah I believe was her name . And greeted her with a "hi how's your day". She rolled her eyes and said "I need to see Id" as I was buying beer. So it's a great place until you need help with something .

Pros: Extremely fast checkout and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cons: Store overall very disorganized, lots of holes in shelves where merchandise should be, shelves not zoned throughout store, twice picked items from shelves (and a gallon of milk) that were extremely close to expiration (showing stock isn't rotated, just put on the shelf).

This store advertises things and then when time to pay for it there are so many exceptions that you have to pay full price. Then they have raised their prices double in most things and they are making a fortune. Definitely won’t shop here no matter how convenient

I was in line for check out which went well except for the woman who I believe to be the manager stood at the end talking to other customers so our groceries couldn’t be bagged which held up the whole line, then after they were done talking her and another employee stood next The like watching the groceries pile up instead of bagging so I started bagging when an older man came over and started bagging on the one I was bagging at instead of the one next to it, he moved as slow as possible. It was fine shopping but getting to the lines where employees are just standing around talking and not helping was completely rude and annoying.

Tonight, as I was walking out the store, I watched a grocery cart slam into the back of my suv which left a scratch and a dent. I’m so upset and will not be shopping at this location again. Every time I go, there’s grocery carts scattered around the parking lot and when you do try and put your cart back they do not stay in the corral. I pray Kroger does something about this.

Clean but still working on getting shelves fulling stocked. It appears to be a smaller store so choices of products is a little more limited than what I am used to. Overall, generally a good experience.

I like shopping at this Kroger, the people are very helpful. My experience today was different, the cashier was a little rude. She made me feel very uncomfortable. I was buying greens and she did not want to touch them. I told her they only had water on them.
