My wife and I have always brought our beloved Ashton here for her grooming appointments with Missy. They’ve always had extremely friendly staff and have treated our senior pup incredibly well. She doesn’t seem to mind going to get groomed which is very nice considering it can be a traumatic experience for some. Definitely recommend.

We had such a great experience at Katie’s! As soon as I uploaded my pups vaccination records, I got a call shortly after to schedule an appt and we were able to get in ASAP. My dog is a puppy and didn’t have a great experience at petsmart with her puppy trim (they even ended the trim early because of her biting/anxiety). I was shocked that my pup tolerated a full cut with Missy. She did have some problem areas but Missy identified these to me and was able to get another groomer to help my dog through this process and she ended up doing fine. I have a maltipoo as well as Missy did a great job with the actual cut and keeping her face round and teddy bear like. When I picked my pup up, she wasn’t scared or shaking (which she was at petsmart…) I will definitely be back and cannot recommend Missy enough, especially if you have some form of a doodle.

This place is Horrible. They are over priced. I brought my puppy in the groomer shaved all his hair off, I will never come here again here again. If you love your fur babies don't bring them here.

Our first visit to Katie’s grooming and it was wonderful! My little guy is an extremely anxious and very fearful little guy. Delaney did an amazing job with him. She is patient and kind and I am more then pleased with the job she did. I will absolutely return and highly recommend them!

I called to make an appointment, the woman was very friendly at first then when I said it was for my 1 year old Chow Chow her tone change immediately “we don’t do Chows and I don’t know anywhere that does” I was kinda taken back by this but when I asked why she said “they could not be trusted and they are too much work” completely shocked that a dog groomer would say either one of those statements. Called 3 other places and they were all very willing to groom a puppy Chow Chow. Very sad and disappointed that someone could be so judgmental over a sweet puppy.

For someone whose dog is not their pet, but is their daughter, I am extremely cautious about where she gets groomed. My little one has had a lot of trauma in her life as she is a rescue and has endured so much pain and abuse. She does not trust people easily and I don't blame her. Well after a ton of research about dog groomers in Indiana, I settled on Katie's as their reviews were good and I appreciated their honesty. Anna was her groomer, and I let her know that she would have to be patient with my dog because she will be very anxious. Well after the grooming Anna told us the honest truth, that our dog was definitely scared and that she nipped a couple times. But, she wanted to see her again to build up trust with her. That meant the world to me, I hate when groomers just say that everything was fine because I know that is a lie. The open honesty here is amazing, and they do such an excellent job. I highly recommend this place!

I couldn't decide if I should post this review or not but then I knew if I didn't that I would regret it so here it goes I would NOT recommend taking your beloved fur baby's here if you really love them as much as I love my fur baby's they are all very rude and very unorganized and the staff are over worked and under paid and have NO patiences for any one or for working with dogs they don't care if you're dogs are scared and slow down and try to comfort them all they care about is that you work fast and they are not very thorough at washing your dog's at all all they care about is going fast so they can get more money from customers!! And all the staff here just look at you like your in there way and that you are bothering them I just can't believe how rude all the staff are here!! and no one goes back to over see all the staff long enough to catch things they don't do right !!I bet at least two or more of the staff we're going through menopause and need to be medicated for it or are just flat out witch's !! so if you have gone here before I beg you to really think it over before you go back!!

Edited Review: The pup mentioned in my previous review has sadly since passed over the Rainbow Bridge, and was a faithful Katie's customer for nearly 8 years of his life. When we got our current dog, I asked around town to see who people would recommend for dog grooming, just to make sure that Katie's was the preferred grooming location... And the overwhelming response was "I wouldn't take my dog anywhere other than Katie's." Our puppy has had several grooms at Katie's, & each time he looks fantastic. He starts wiggling as soon as we pull into the parking lot & pulls me through the door. They obviously treat him well for him to be so excited to see them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Katie's Grooming!~~~~~My mini schnauzer has super sensitive skin and has been going here for >1 year to be groomed. He has been scratched/scraped to pieces with OTHER groomers, but NEVER at Katie's. He also seems a lot happier when I pick him up from Katie's than he has been at other small business or large pet store groomings. I only take him to Katie's now, and they always provide a well-groomed, good smelling, happy schnauzer at the end of the day.

Everyone at Katie’s knows my dog by name. She gets her nails cut regularly and also is groomed here. I often joke that Katie likes our dog more than I do, but she actually does have an incredible fondness for all the animals serviced there. She is a dog lover for sure. We don’t go anywhere else and highly recommend their staff and services.

I scheduled my 8 month old german shepherd’s first grooming session today. Initially, they requested his shot record but never responded to my email. I followed up the next day to confirm that they received the email. Upon checking, they had and were able to get me in within an hour and a half, which was greatly appreciated. The initial intake was fine, the lady that greeted me was kind but there was clear confusion about what we wanted, as the person I had spoken to on the phone advised general grooming and would assess any trimming when we arrived. The main issue was when I picked him up. The staff seemed rather annoyed by him. Granted, he is a very large dog, but he is still a puppy. Considering the price landed at $80 and we tipped an additionally $20, I was extremely off put by the lack of hospitality. The young lady who brought him to me seemed annoyed to the point of disgust; she didn’t even hand over the leash, simply let go and turned around. We chose this groomer due to the positive reviews. I suppose if you have a smaller dog, their annoyance may not be as great, but terrible customer service was hard to overlook. We all have our biases for our own animals, but our dog’s worst trait is getting over excited. His coat looks great and he smells incredible, but an ounce of good customer service would have made us life long clients. Due to the treatment of our dog, we will unfortunately not be back. Again, there were positives and negatives, but the attitude of unwelcomeness was too severe to overlook.

If I could give them a ZERO I would!!! This was the first time I used them and I WILL never go back!! We recently moved to Plainfield and our normal groomers (Bubbles N Bows in greenwood) was a bit of a drive so we decided to try this place since it was close, BIG MISTAKE!! Not only was they WAY WAY to expensive but the quality of my dogs bath/grooming was less than mediocre! I even took pictures of how my dog gets cut normally and explained it to them every way I knew possible so they would understand..my dog looked like a boy dog when I picked her up, not the cut I described and definitely did not smell nice and fresh like she normally does when I pick her up from her regular groomers..I had to take her back into them so they could cut her potty pads better, she is a hormone so her hair is long and needs to be away from her bottom when she potty otherwise it gets all in her hair! I noticed today she is chewing on her nail and I see it is curled over (both paws are the same) so that means they didn’t cut that nail!! I’m so unhappy, she will be going back to her regular groomers she looks amazing and smells even better for week or longer after her grooming..Bubbles N Bows is where she will go!!Do not waste your money here, other places charge way less for much better services and a lot more you will get for your money!!Train ur groomers better and get some better grooming skills and products!

Katie & all her groomers are The BEST!!!!They all take good care of your/my pet! They are professional, personal, & really give the Best grooming any pet could ever have! My dog is a beautiful Bichon (her name is Precious), she is a little timid of new people at first, but not with Katie, she automatically bonded with her & staff!!! I will only take her to Katies!! Thank you Katie & staff for truely caring & taking good care of my baby!! She ALWAYS looks great after you groom her!!

Very rude staff. I was asking questions regarding my dog being shaved and the owner did not show any kindness got frustrated and told me to leave after we made an appt weeks in advance. Expectations are to come in every other month for 100 dollar haircuts otherwise they charge extra and say my dog is matted. Will not be going again and do not recommend them.

They really did an AWESOME JOB with Ace. Ace had been not be receiving a proper cut and wash from Pet Smart so we got smart and changed groomers.There is certain vibe about Katie that gr he dogs love!!
