Kelly, the store manager is very aggressive, rude & uneducated about DG SOPs. She kicked people out of her store today just for looking in a box that was on a shelf. She started screaming at customers, made people leave and even called the police, even though they just wanted to purchase items. She also was late and did not open until after 9:00 a.m and told customers waiting, that she didn't care and she would open when she felt like it. She also sold a number of items without actually ringing them up on the register. Pictures are attached of a stack of items that were given to a lady for free and then two more pictures showing what someone else got and yet there were only a couple items on her receipt. This manager is literally sending product out the door without charging people

William is the best cashier that I think I have ever met in my life. Genuinely can say that, that man needs to be at every single Dollar General. 10/10 great service.

Was there today and have never seen anything like it. The manager, i belive her name is kelly was the rudest and most unprofessional person ive ever met. She was hatful when she did show up. She showed up after 8 when the store was supposed to open and didnt open until after 9. After opening she was yelling at customers and grabbing there carts. And when i went to checkout i had a cart of things and needed to get cigarettes, please tell me how and why she only rang me out for my cigarettes. I asked her if she was not ringing the other stuff up, and she said no u can have it. Like how is that not theft, and tell me why im the one feeling guilty for her not letting me pay for everything i had purchased. I shop here frequently and have never been treated so poorly. I will not be spending my hard earned money here anymore. And i will be telling every friend and family member as well as anyone who will listen not to go there until this store is under new managment. Not sure how they stay in business with the manager they have now. She even cam back to the door to open it and scream profanities at us before shutting the door and locking it back up. Have never witnessed such ignorance. Unfortunately my daughter had to witness all of this. Do better DG! Your plainfield location is plummeting.

The staff and employees are great! Sometimes shelves are not stocked but its partly because of a shortage in employees. I love going there when I just need a few hygiene products but i do not suggest getting too many food items. Food items are greatly overpriced.

The ladies are always so friendly and they are extremely helpful in finding anything that I can not find. The only problem is that there is never enough people working so when they are stocking the shelves we have to go in find someone to check us out. But overall all it's one of my favorite places to shop at ..

Rude manager. No masks on employees. I don’t expect much from a dollar general but common courtesy and following public safety guidelines should be manageable. Low stock. Dirty store. Needed a couple household items and didn’t want to go to a big box store - left with nothing.

I don't know how the store manager is still there. Every since she's been there the store has always been a mess. She's lazy she's either outside on a break, on the phone, or doing absolutely nothing!! The new employees on the other hand are great!!

Worst dollar general experience I've ever had. They had items on the clearance race for 50% off and were still full price. I literally could've walked out the door with the items I was carrying because of the complication of finding someone to check me out. Just poor service and unorganized.

Day I was there manager on duty was yelling at a staff member door to office by register open everyone in store could hear. Very unprofessional. I haven't been back since. I felt sorry for the staff member. Heard they were looking for management, hoping it was to replace the lady that was yelling. I will go back another time to see if it's any better.

Workers NOT were masks! When asked to they did. But another employee behind the counter was not wearing hers. I WILL NOT go back to that Dollar General. I an immune compromised & need to know where I'm going is safe.

The register was real slow, she left there register with a 3 person line just to show someone where something was. When she finally got back, the card reader was malfunctioning. Wouldn't recognize my card. Then said my card was out of date. Which it wasn't. Somehow we finally got it working. Here I am with severe back injuries, waiting the whole time . Needless to say I had a terrible experience. At least the person behind the register apologized.

Dollar General has always been a favorite store of mine for the most obvious reason. Price. This location has a friendly familiar to Plainfield staff. The place is always clean and accessible. I highly recommend DG

Very small place with a lot of items and products I shopped there when I can and there's a lot of cheap stuff if you're interested they're on sale almost every day they have really good things for the use there's cheap stuff and there is really good brands there that you can get on sale nowhere else or at Walmart but sometimes at Walmart it's more expensive so Dollar General is way cheaper.

This location / company is TERRIBLE. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Their customer service is the worst. Secondly, their prices aren't even a good deal. If you want somewhere that won't treat you terrible , go on down the street cause you won't find it here.

Small store, their is an older cashier with short grey hair that was rude to my kid and they dont carry potatoe mashers and clearence items are only cents from the original price

Very Unprofessional manager was yelling cashier was taking her time to get to the front with a line ask for a recent and was told it didn't work I asked what was I to do if I needed to return something and was told I don't know and then she walked away
