I stopped at DG for cookies, root beer soda and Stake-ums for dinner. Went in got what I needed and checked out with the assistance of a nice and courteous woman named Jess. When I went home only one bag was in my vehicle. The other was at the store so I called immediately. Jess assured me that the bag was still there. I drove back, got more items, and she helped me again along with giving me the items I left. She saved, not only my family's dinner, but my sweet tooth.Again thanks Jess.Glen Strong

Chick working tonight thought it was funny to have the doors locked at 9:57 and refuse to let me in even though there were other customers in the store in plain sight. I even showed her the time on my phone and told her I just literally needed to go to the register with intentions of adding $$ to cash app card. She again laughed and muttered "nope, oh well." We are regular customers of this store which is 1 of 4..soon to be 5 in our county. That was an absolute trash display of customer service especially for a transaction that would have taken a minute. Highly aggravated and disappointed in the way I was just treated at this store!!

This, of the four (yes, four!) Dollar Generals in our small town, is the worst. It's not clean, there are holes consistently present, and staff are not friendly in my experience. They are gruff, bored, and just want to get you finished so they can get back to what they were doing or to the next in line.Products on shelves are haphazard and usually out of place, and items seem to be stacked on top when stocked, with misplaced products never returned to their proper location. Expired or out of date goods remain on the shelf.To their credit, they are a staple for dry goods in this part of town. Prices are fairly reasonable for most products. Our little town couldn't keep Kmart when they had to close so many stores. We have no other options to speak of, and Dollar General fills a great need in our community. I just wish they were better managed, and this is the bottom of our Peru DG barrel.

I was in your store Nov 4. The floors were terribly dirty. I felt like I needed to go home and shower after shopping there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Will not be shopping here in the future

I’m an older lady that has had 2 bladder surgeries. This is the only DG in Peru that will not let you use the restroom. I refuse to shop with DG any longer. The employees used to have compassion for their customers!

Made a quick stop for a couple greeting cards and few household odds and ends. Had a great employee (Gabby) help point me in the right direction. The store was clean and well organized which helps find things.

I have been very pleased with service, but Saturday 1/16 the other checkout person wore her mask on her chin. The whole time I shopped she left it there and it was on her chin as the other woman rang up my sale. The assistants should be wearing their masks if the store requires them.

Store is somewhat crowded with products placed where at times caused congestion if store is busy. Prices on some items seemed quite high while other products seemed priced fairly. Large selection of laundry soaps and paper goods at ok prices. I highly suggest downloading the store app to cash in on digital coupons now offered.

Do better Dollar General, stopped in on my break from work on Friday June 4th and purchased some of your brand cream cheese spread and when I opened it later that evening to eat it I thought it tasted odd, I took a couple more bites and quit eating it and thought I would check out the best by date and that date happen to be 5/11/2021.

REVIEW UPDATENewly patched parking lot provides ample parking for customers. Dollar General has a moderate selection of brand name products aggressively priced to provide value to the everyday consumer. Upper management is responsive to customer feedback.AVOID THIS LOCATION. The parking lot will cause severe damage to your vehicle. Dollar General owns this parking lot and is responsible for it's maintenance. Upper management has been aware of this parking lots condition for years and has refused to take any action. This is completely unacceptable. Our community deserves better from the business's that rely on our patronage.

Grabbed a couple things while I waited for my pizza at papa johns to get done. Got to cash out with my things and forgot some items after looking at the beautiful clerk helping me! Great experience😁

We went there for just a few items , thinking in and out back home for the day. NOT .We had to go back to the store 3x , 3x . Well by the third time we had had enough, I can see once but 3x grrrrr , u would think that they would check and make sure that they weren't selling defective merchandise. So needless to say that we found out that my sister Ethel is pregnant and my our cousin Hershel isn't .Dodged a bullet with Hershel huh , good thing Ethel doesn't know or she might try to get me in court for child support.....

always packed. line goes from register all the way down the aisle. no good at all. very slow and always always always only have one register open and available for 90 peopl in line. lazy workers doesnt open another register until the store is over crowded. i do not recomend this dg

Its always well stocked and the isles are clear. The employees are always helpful and friendly. And its nice that you can buy so many groceries in there.

Sign on door says they will be closing at 3 pm today due to weather but it is 2:30 pm and doors are locked. I understand closing early but close when you say.

There is a large selection of goods, with a large freezer/cooler section and everything else one might need for a decent price and good quality, even for the store brand items.

I do alot of shopping here! With the shopping list I'll go to Aldi's then Dollar General and then I get whatever I couldn't get at those 2 places at Kroger's! I'm on disability and have 2 children (girl-9yrs & boy-10yrs-really close to 11yrs)! So saving money is what I have to do! I Always look for sales and use coupons, on top of every day household supplies!

I love Dollar General! Prices are great and I like the dollar aisle and 50% off just after a holiday. Bargain shoppers go to Dollar General.

Dollar General has gotten a little expensive on items. Other stores are coming in like family dollar and dollar tree and keeping some of those prices down. In our economy (even in a rise in the economy) there are still more poor and middle class that needs to find things as cheap as possible so that they can still keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

I will only buy my milk from Dollar General now. I love Dean's milk and it is cheaper than Kroger when I buy it from Dollar General!!

I like this store but one of their night managers is crazy rude sometimes lol. You can think stuff without letting your face show it.
