I have been taking my chihuahua here for years for nail trim. Today I bought him a toy, and the item was defective but since my dog chewed on one side they wouldn't stand behind their products. Took it back within 17 minutes, told me I have to contact Kong the manufacturer Dirty Paws is really making it difficult, never gave me a receipt, and according to Kong website they aren't an authorized dealer so Kong won't make it right either. So I would recommend not buying product from them and call ahead for grooming nails only done 10 am to noon if the groomer shows up( no showed on me 3 times) try to help local businesses but if they are going to be Dirty towards long-time customers I will go elsewhere

I was worried due to the previous review but I guess it must depend on your dogs behavior. I took my large dog here today for a groom.he’s short hair, 10 years old but high energy and separation anxiety.He got a bath, nail trim, a deshed cut and I had no complaints from them. The customer service was great. I was unfortunately late by 5 mins and they gave me no issues. My boy seemed happy and smells great. I support small, local businesses and was satisfied with my service. I bought a kong ball for my dog, they’re reasonably priced on pet supplies. Have fish, birds, reptiles, I believe I saw a ferret cage. I was definitely impressed with their new location on 5th street, much more room than the previous location. I will for sure return and encourage anyone needing pet supplies to shop here! If they don’t have it they’ll probably order it for you. They use to order my bait for my snake. Just had to call in advance! This is my 6th time as a customer and first time getting my dog groomed here.

took our dog here for a cut, nail trim, bath. Was told it would be around near 2 hours for the appointment. 30 minutes later we got a call saying he wouldnt sit still and to come pick him up. paid 50 dollars for a bath, no trim, no nail cut nothing. yet when we took him to a different dog grooming place, he was able to get all of that for around the same price with no struggle. He's a puppy so he has a lot of energy, new groomers said "we just played with him a bit then he was very kind and sat still!" absolutely horrible service here and will not return. When I posted my former review they gave me a 50% discount like thats going to want to make me come next time?? Absolutely not, do not recommend for bigger dogs/puppies as they have 0 patience and only care for your money.Oh, and so you can't say "we never had you as a customer" our appointments were Monday August 14th, 2023 10 am and September 20th, 2023 at 10:30 am. 2nd time is where we had the issue, where as the first time we paid 45$ ish for a bath and trim on the paws.

Hands down, worse groomer I have ever taken my dogs to, scheduled a full haircut and bath with potty area trimming and nails. This time they weren't able to cut my dogs hair because " they've never had their hair cut before". Which they have, but he also did not trim their nails or potty areas. I paid $140 for them to give my dogs a bath.

If you are a small dog owner(under 6lbs) they don't have any sweaters or shirts to fit a small breed.

Nice little shop. But floor space is crowded, and didn't accept credit or debit cards. If you're not going to accept cards, please post it on your front door. And you cannot see your pet while it is being groomed. Or even offer you to accompany your pet. Maybe I am overprotective owner, but you wouldn't drop off your kid and let them take him or her into a back room where you can't see them. Just a suggestion, A viewing window would be great. That way your customers can see the grooming room and its cleanliness. As far as the 3 star rating it really should be 2 1/2. Its not a bad place just needs some modernization. Another change is in a small shop do you really need such a large checkout counter 🤔.

Had an appointment for my 2 furbabies Never been here before.Went in pictures in hand & information on how I wanted them cut Didn't seem to want to hear the information but took the pictures. I asked if there cages had flat bottoms not cage I also said don't cage them together. Left maybe 10 minutes passed the groomer wasn't coming so I went Back to get them They come out feet wet up there legs the stunk WHY!!! I had to ask for something to clean them off Come home bath them & wash everything they touched because it smelled like rot WHY Not even worth 1 star NEVER AGAIN What are your furbabies be placed in before there groomed can't be good if it smells like it did

This place is one of the best. The are extremely helpful also very smart with animals and reptiles. I was going to build a bioactive tank and get special dirt just for it when the guy told me not to buy that dirt gave me very detailed product information which saved me $100 only cost $12

The store has a small selection, the animals are on the pricy side and aren’t in suited habitats. I recently went against my better judgment and bought a ball python (normal pos Het pied) and paid $161 including tax for him, I could’ve gotten a normal from a breeder for $30 plus shipping with possible Hets. I can’t complain too much about price because I was the one who paid that amount. What I can complain about is the mites that he came with, I should’ve handled him before buying but it was a really impulsive decision and a mistake in my part.He started treatment practically as soon as we got home and I was putting him in his quarantine tank.luckily I had the experience to discover and treat these, but for any novice reptile keeper it could’ve been quite the show. I haven’t been back since I purchased him and have been traveling out of town to other pet shops, I would recommend the same if purchasing animals.

I took my an my mom's dogs to get their nails trimmed. They were friendly, quick and inexpensive! I was happy with everything, my mom was not happy with how little they took off her dogs nails, but I feel like they just didn't want to take off too much.

I had some family emergency to where I could not make the very first appointment of the day at 10 am. I called to reschedule 12 min after ten am. Explained my situation the owner refused to reschedule and took money form my card after refusing services. I would not recommend going here we are returning customers. This is how he treats customers.

Hi all. I recently had spine surgery and normally groom my dog's myself. I have German shepherds and they require a lot of deshedding. Brought my dogs in for a bath, d-shed, and toenail trim. They did not get d-shed and I was charged $98 for both dogs Plus I left a $20 tip only to get home and realize that I had to de-shed the dogs myself. And there was dirt coming off the back end of my large German Shepherd and she still had crust on her eyes that was there when I dropped her off. I would not recommend this place and won't be using them again.

Decent selection of items. Animals are in rather small cages though and the store definitely has an animal odor. Some of the staff is super friendly and helpful but some of the staff is rude. Overall I would go here again but I try to find animals elsewhere.My knowledge on the reptiles is null so this only pertains to the furry ones lol.

i mean, its ok. It somewhat smells, and i bought my pet finches there. But im afraid their animals are being treated right. The cages are small and theres an awful smell. But the staff is friendly and they have the sweetest dog running around in their store. They also have a decent selection of food and toys. Its over all a nice place, but compact. Would be better if the birds had bigger cages maybe, they seem to small.

Little hidden gem, carries the basics and even some obscure stuff you couldn't find at Mega Pet or Walmart.They actually have two live seahorses. (on display, I don't think they're for sale) but I've never seen a pet store able to keep a seahorse alive, and I've been in a lot of pet stores all over Indiana! Even a few claiming to specialize in aquariums.Definitely worth stopping in if you have pets.

I brought in a very matted kitty today. The groomer did an excellent job removing all of the mats. I am so grateful. I would highly recommend this business.

Great place for supplies or food. They have a bit of just about any thing you could need supply wise and feeder rats and lots of crazy animals on a regular basis and can even order animals some times depending on what you are looking for.

I went into his store for the first time this last week looking for rabbits. I walked out with 3. One lop eared mix, a full blooded lionhead, and a big boy i believe is a Flemish mix. They are all in great health and absolutly great animals. The store is the greatest. He alsi told me that he can help me get bulk vita-feed for them whick is what i feed my bunnies.

Dirty paws grooming staff are fast workers and so kind! My dog walked out of there looking like a million bucks! He also didnt seem scared like he usually does, thank you!!!
