We left our dog with Pendleton pens for two weeks this past October. When we got her home we realized she was not feeling well. After a trip to the vet was told she had an ear infection. We really weren’t sure at that point if it had anything to do with her stay at Pendleton Pens. She was treated and recovered. Our dog had her second stay at Pendleton pens and we picked her up about 5 weeks ago . She was sick again. We took her to the vet and she had a terrible sinus infection and a urinary track infection. When we called to check on our dog they were always friendly and told us our dog was doing great . Not sure what’s going on there but it hasn’t been good for our dog. We won’t be returning

I’ve been taking the girls here for over 5 years now. They just love staying with Kate and crew! Kennel is clean and the staff is attentive. My only complaint is the county road off of SR38 leading to them. Drive in the middle or you’ll need an alignment!

Took my dog there for the first about a week ago. So pleased. Very clean and bright kennels. Good size area for her to play in. This sounds silly, but she smelled as good as she did entering the kennels. I have been to places where this not always the case. I have to take her back in two weeks and feel very confident she will get great care.

Nothing but the best for the dogs at Pendleton Pens. Caring and knowledgeable owners and staff, exceptionally clean and well run. My dogs are treated like family and love be their stays there. I never worry when I have to board them.

After searching for a quality place to leave our chocolate lab and our bichon while on vacation we decided on Pendleton Pens. Very pleasant at the time of drop off. We called and checked on them during their stay and were told they were doing great! We picked up our doggies and when we got them home and calmed down I noticed a large cut on my chocolate labs head. I immediately called to see what happened. I was told that nothing happened and they were not aware of a cut! It looks to me like it is from another dog, possibly a bite. The cut has healed, but my beautiful chocolate lab now has a scare on his head forever. They had to have seen this and now I question the care they were given. I know accidents happen but to deny it and act like nothing happened is dishonest and very unprofessional! If I was lied to about this, what else are they lying about! Our dogs are our family and I wish I had chosen a more honest and trustworthy place to leave them!

I would not recommend sending your dog here.I had my 11mth old German Shepherd there for only 3 days. He got chemical burns on all four of his paws & ears, had an inflamed esophagus, lungs & lesions on his togue. He wouldn't eat & couldn't put weight on his back paws from it. The owner had the audacity to ask me what I thought happened! After being told that something like this never has happened at this facility, I found a post on Facebook with a dog that was severely burned. No dog should have to go through this - we drop our family members off to know that they are well taken care of & safe, not to come back to a very sick dog.The only positive thing is that the owner did cover the vet costs.

They did a great job taking care of our miniature schnauzer while our family was on my youngest daughters Make-a-wish trip. They even waived the cost of boarding for the occasion. Wonderful people and very friendly staff.

Pendleton Pens has shady business practices. I picked my dogs up on Sunday at 5pm in their 5pm-6pm pickup window. I was charged for Sunday even though I picked them up at the earliest time I could have. When I asked why they said they charge like a hotel, if you check out after 11 you get charged for that day. My argument was that hotels allow checkout before 11. I was told that is just how it is.On their website it also states that every dog goes home clean. Rennae said they do not give the dogs baths and that the staff has no control of the website. My dogs were not clean upon pickup. There are plenty of other honest dog kennels to board your dog. I do not recommend Pendleton Pens.SummaryI was overcharged by a full nights stayFalse advertisement on their website
