For about a month now maybe 2 they have not restocked my daughters formula that she uses. Majority of shelves are bare. Not sure if its because shipment isnt coming in or what but it gets frustrating having to drive all the way to new salisbury or corydon for formula.

Apparently Dollar General doesn't give enough hours to their stores for the employees to work, but at this particular store it wouldn't help if they did. It looks ransacked everyday. I had the unfortunate experience of working there for just a month, and after being hired and trained on register for 2 days, had 0 scheduled hours for 3 schedules. Also, even though I knew it wasn't fault, I felt ashamed to be an employee there. Not only was it gross to look through, it was a hostile work environment due to a dark Gemini personality of a female employee. So shop or work here if you want to be disappointed on every level. A couple of nightshift girls are the only ones to help a trainee or do any good for the store, and the manager apparently has no sense of pride because I've not only been a manager but have worked for some great ones, and as a manager you should want your store to look decent. Honesty and hard work is what I'm about, and I couldn't care less who believes my story, they can see for themselves.

The cleanlieness of the store is unacceptable. Freakish amount of cigarette butt and trash buildup along the curbs outside. 90% of the time there is trash on the floor. The store seems very unorganized espically the clothes and shoes section. Its as if they have too much stuff for the size of the store -very cramped environment-. Shelves are either overflowing or empty. On a good note, staff are friendly..they just need to pick up a broom..

They have almost everything you can get at Kroger and Walmart, clean and friendly. I do all my grocery shopping here. Prices are good and store is well stocked. Best Dollar General Store I have ever been in.

This store is an absolute nightmare. I rather go to Wal-Mart than here. The store is a constant mess, most of their good help no longer works there, theres nothing on the shelves, and it's just unorganized. Food is never out, clothes are all over the floor, stomped, and unorganized. I wouldn't go if it wasn't convenient, but I wish they'd put in a different store at the location. This store is AWFUL.

I am stuck going to this Dollar General almost daily because it's the only place in our little town where your supposed to be able to get what you need. They are always out of almost everything. There will always be karts of boxes that need unpacked and stocked. It's by far my biggest aggravation of the day. Never have what I need. There's one employee that works her tail off and will always go out of her way for you. I believe her name is Suzie. If she's not there, don't waist your breath or time. Everyone around here says the same thing "how are they still open?"

Okay, didn't get my son's birthday card that I purchased. Laid it on the counter, thought it was checked. Overall I have had good experiences at dollar stores.

I would give Dollar General negative stars if I could. Store hours are posted open til 10:00pm got up there at 9:45pm to buy a pacifier for my daughter. And the 2 women working there was outside the store smoking out in the parking lot and as I got out walking to the store they told me the store was closed are you kidding me what a waste to the community to service the town of Palmyra

Got over charge on 12 packs of cokes they were suppose to be 3 coke products for 12$ got charge 5.50 a piece for the 2 cokes and 6.25 for the diet cokes add them together no where close to 12$ I took my receipt back in there told the young fellow the problem he said we owe you .75 cents I said no that still not right he wanted me to bring them back in I took my receipt told him to forget it as I was walking out he said _ack you needless to say I will not be back

Store is always short handed. The workers have always been very friendly but it's apparent by the appearance of the store that more employees are needed. Shelves are usually bare and merchandise is stacked (or thrown) on the floor. Owners desperately need to hire more employees.

One time I watched the manager SCREAM at her employee " You have customers" it was horrific and the employee was so embarrassed and I kinda wanted to slap the manager silly . So rude and disrespectful. My sister and I were literally blown away . How she is a manager I will never know . It was complete madness .

Store is very busy and obviously short staffed. Stocking and cleanliness of the floor were lacking. But I was able to find what I needed!

Needs more help, these poor people can only do so much. The employees there are friendly and hard working. They need to stock more with the campers right around the corner.

This store was much needed in my small town. They are a little short staffed for the peak demands at times, but saves is tons of time by being so close and convenient.

Need to have someone stocking shelves all the time . Maybe have employees stay 1 hr after closing every day for stocking . Store is getting a little better it was a whole lot worse..

The store is always filthy and the shells are never stopped worst Dollar General I have ever been to. They keep saying they're getting a new manager and they do but nothing ever changes.

Of all of the DG stores I have been to, this is my favorite. Clean, well stocked, open late, friendly staff, easy access from the highway, ample parking.

Went got chicken noodle soup the only one they had was for a $1 a big can . It was not half full.. Do not buy no food from there
