2 employees(1 being the manager) were standing right in front of the door smoking when I arrived. There was an elder lady standing at the counter waiting to be helped when I went inside. I went and got the things I needed and went to check out. The elder lady was still standing there, but still wasnt anyone at the register to help customers . I looked over at the front door and seen both employees were still standing outside. They both clearly saw us standing there waiting as I made eye contact with each one. Neither one bothered to come in, just stood there talking. So I "rang the service bell"(the "squeeze me" pig, dog toy) incase maybe there was a third employee in the store. I waited a minute squeezed it again, but still no one came to the register. So I said loudly "is there anyone in here that could help us at the register". Still no response . I left the things I was going to purchase and left. I'll do my shopping else where.

Absolutely love this location! It has always been one of my main stores! This location has came quite a long way lately. Isles used to be extremely overcrowded with carts & roll containers packed to the max with inventory just waiting to be put away which was frustrating to maneuver around, especially while pushing a cart. Also things would be scattered all throughout the store or piled in the floor from falling off shelves. However, I think they’ve got that under control and do a decent job of keeping the store clean and the isles as clutter free as possible now! I would suggest a little extra help at the registers at times due to lines becoming extremely long and wait times taking a while with just one person trying to run register! Employees always seem super attentive, friendly and maintain a good attitude in front of customers! Almost always a pleasant visit for me! Would definitely recommend!

I used to love to come to this dollar store but the manager recently was very rude to my best friend. I had signed up for the mobile coupons and asked her to go and get me the deal they had on Purex Crystals for laundry. The manager was very rude with her and told her it wasn't working and sometimes it just doesn't download. I double check to make sure it was on there and it was and my friend Joe 10 to 15 minutes away to the next Dollar General where it worked perfectly fine and the people at the one in Judah were sweet as could be. The woman that was working, and the manager at the oolitic one were very rude and actually told my friend she was no longer allowed in the store when she protested. They need new Staffing stat

This place is so much better than Walmart. The staff at the store are always friendly and helpful. While they do not have a biggest selection they have the main things that keep you from having to make that dreaded trips Walmart. Of course this is closer to home and there seems to be a bunch in every town.

Staff is amazing! Always friendly and helpful. I actually shopped there tonight to grab some headache meds and both the manager and cashier were super friendly and helpful. Wish I was able to shop here more often.

Even though they advertise open until till 10pm they are often closed at 9:55, or at least the nights I find a last minute thing I need for the kids like diapers or milk. There is also usually a long line with only one cashier if you come earlier in the night.

convenient, but that's about it. employees typically couldn't be bothered less by your presence, and don't say more than 3 words to you if they have to. and when they do, normally not very polite.

Pulled in dollar general today in get supplies in between job sites and the facility had a delivery truck blocking all lanes of customer parking. I however pulled in between two vehicles three spots apart. I’m a contractor and pull a small trailer, this was the only option avalabile so my vehiciles were not out In traffic. As I exited the vehicle I was confronted by an associate who identified herself as a manger and asked if I would be long. I answered no and the manager continued to harass me as I walked in the building. I purchased my items and was exiting the building where she continued to Harrass me to the point of me getting in my truck and closing the door.I could hear her saying that I don’t have to show there anymore.There is a spot for the delivery truck to back in at and had no obstructions. This was a case of the manager not directing the delivery drivers to be in the desalinated area and then making me pay the consequences by her not doing her job. Her resolution was to discontinue my service as a customer he buys what’s coming off that delivery truck, very ignorant of the manager.

Very friendly people, I accidentally knocked some barbecue off the shelf and it fell and broke. The staff cleaned it up made sure I was okay. Very nice indeed

It seems that every time I go into the Dollar General in Oolitic I get very frustrated with the employees lack of work ethic. I needed a transaction put back into my card and, instead of them doing anything, they gave me a phone number to call. I called the number and it was the wrong number, it was employee services. I had to be transferred three times, all persons on the phone were completely confused by the store's actions. I vowed to never go back but I had to recently and nothing changed. I waited forever in line, the cashier didn't know how to take the transactions so someone had to step in but they were taking their time and socializing. The second person finally opened a second register but I had to wait before I could ask a question because he was still talking with his co-worker. Oolitic is the only one that I've had this problem, the other Dollar Generals have been great and functioned well.

Staff isn't very friendly. Poorly managed. Staff would go hang out outside & talk to their "buddies" instead of working. Store is set up alright. Checkout line is almost always backed up with only one cashier working.

It's a good store and everything but you know one employee makes in a four-starinstead of a five-star which I believe the lady was very rude but everybody else was niceand the store was clean which is unusual for Dollar general

They do the best they can with the staff they are given. It's not Wal-Mart and they don't have the staff they do so lets give them a break. Yes at times there are long lines but that's part of it.

Store was a complete mess. I had to move various things around so I could get through the aisles. The employees must not know what to do when working at a store. I had to hand an employee a box of fixadent that had been sliced open and was on the shelf

They're good store but they had a lot of merchandise ending around on rollers because they just got a truck in and that makes it very hard to shop other than that they're great
