I love this location so much! The staff is so fun and friendly. I had been trying to convince my husband on Guinea pigs for a while and the staff was so helpful on providing education and encouraged me to handle them. Needless to say, we adopted two from this location and love the little guys to pieces. You can tell the staff really cares for the animals in their store and they handle them when they can to ensure they are not overly scared of handling. Both Guinea pigs are taming down so well because they have positive associations with people from the store. The store is always clean and just seems well managed. We have bought fish here in the past as well and have been nothing but pleased. So happy with our new pets and supplies and I will continue to support this location!

I love this Petco. It is clean and bright and well organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are classes for puppies to socialize. The dog trainers are very knowledgeable. My favorite part of the kittens/cats that are up for adoption.

Went in the morning of 3/1 to get our geckos some crickets. When we encountered a “Karen” at your store being completely disrespectful to one of your female employees. The employees mind you opened another lane because of this ladies complaining to get more customers out the door. All while this ladies only problem was because she didn’t read “online only” coupon (which obviously only applies to online orders) and wanted it applied to her in store purchase. Which she could have done a pick up order and still applied the coupon. Pretty ridiculous. The employees handled it perfectly and my son, my gf, and I had a wonderful conversation with the employee that wasn’t being verbally abused.

Absolutely heartless people here at Petco! My 11 year old kid just got a new fish tank and new fish and was so excited to start being a fish owner. 1 out of 10 fish died within a few days of getting fish here at Petco. We bring in the dead fish and instead of returning the fish and letting my son pick out a new one, they acted like we were "fish murderers" and not only would they not exchange the dead fish, but they wouldn't let us buy more fish! Can you believe the nerve of these people!!! Wow, for such a simple thing ($2.00) fish they sure did make us and everyone we will tell never go in a Petco ever again! This crushed my son and now he thinks he's a fish murderer. Thanks a lot Petco for ruining my kid's week! Man this is bad business!

I had a great experience with Gloria at the Noblesville, IN Petco grooming salon. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. I switched to Petco grooming because of increasing prices for grooming in my area. I loved the cut Gloria gave my Toy Poodle, Lucy. I highly recommend this groomer and grooming salon. The price they charge is reasonable.

I was extremely impressed with the guy who rang up Fergie’s food. He went out of his way to help make sure that I got the 10% promotion discount for my purchase above $50. That he took the time to do that makes me a very happy and loyal customer.

My partner took our dog in and had an unpleasant experience with rude staff. They wrote a bad review so management would handle their employees better. They employees then wrote that our dog was aggressive in the chart and unable to come back. This is not true and doesn’t match the report they gave us when picking up the dog that she was very sweet. This is completely unprofessional behavior.

My Husband and I paid $600 for our Green Cheek Conure, Sage. The workers there said that Sage was handled for about 30 minutes every day and that she had been there for over a month and had been hand fed. The workers let us handle the bird and demonstrated how bonded she was with the 2 people that were on staff at the time. Thanks to the time and effort they spent with Sage we had an INSTANTLY cuddly bird! I sure wasn't expecting it to be this way having done hours and hours of research on how to tame parrots! Now Sage is in a loving home where she is being spoiled with toys, healthy food and treats, and hours of time out of her cage to cuddle and play! Sage's wings were very heavily clipped leading to multiple hard falls when spooked or loosing her grip; her flight feathers will be allowed to grow back in and I will be working on getting her to fly (we are currently working on harness training so we can take her out side, shes very smart!).We also spent about $300 on a cage (it was a pretty large table top cage but she'll have a HUGE standing one soon and this will become her cage for only when we travel to see family and she has a smaller transport cage for safety; they had nothing bigger in store sadly). They had no natural perches in the store at all and pretty limited toys. We really were only able to get the bare essentials since I saw problems with many of the few bird supplies they had. Fortunately I was able to find natural perches at Walmart and Meijer's to add to the cage until Bird Fever (who does not handled their birds to tame and only hand feeds) opened and we were able to get more better perches as well as tons of toys!We want to say thank you to the employees at Petco who handled our feathery angel, Sage and the great managers that let them!My husband and I because of them doing this recommends buying a bird from them if it is caged alone and has been handled for about 30 days if you want a similar experience as ours.

Brought my dog here because the Petco on 96th st. was busy. I regularly get my dog groomed at Petco but the male groomer at this location was extremely rude and harsh. I immediately heard my dog screaming as soon as the groomer attempted to began the process, so intervened and he very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend anyone taking their pet to this location!

Absolutely so unprofessional. Took 20 minutes to check in because they were on the phone trying to get someone new to come in when I had my appointment for weeks. They told me it would take two hours so I made sure I would be able to be back exactly at that time and not be late. They finished 50 minutes early and kept leaving me threatening voicemails saying they were closing and I needed to arrive ASAP. I was already on my way and arrived EXACTLY when they told me it would be finished. I understand not wanting people to be late but you can't expect only your time to matter when many don't live close.

Unbelievably rude and hateful. These people do not like dogs! They refused to take one of my pups(the one that would be harder to groom) because it was a copy of the rabies paper and not the actual thing. Although they allowed my other dog with the same paperwork. We took them for a bath and as soon as we were drying the dog off(15 minutes later) the lady brought the bath supplies we needed and said that she forgot to bring them. Then after the bath she refused to take my other dog after all because he was on vitamins. She called two managers and said she can’t take him due to his medication. Every other Grindr has accepted our paper and has never even asked about the medication/vitamins they were on. They were extremely rude the entire time and was acting like my dogs were inconvenient. Then I took all my dogs to pet smart where they were extremely loved on and taken back right away with the same paperwork. The people there were so nice and the prices were even cheaper than Petco. Do not take ur babies here

Easy scheduling for my dogs grooming (only a few days out), which I now understand.I got a call before I even got home from dropping him off saying they wouldn’t groom him because he was pawing at the crate. He has been getting groomed for 4 years and never had a problem. The grooming manager, Samantha, hung up on me when I was asking questions about the circumstances. When I asked her about it in person, she was rude and unprofessional.I would encourage a different Petco or grooming salon.

I absolutely love this store. Everyone here is so kind and sweet. When i walk in with my english bulldog Virginia, they light up with hugs and pet her. They go above and beyond for everyones pets. They know my pup by name and all. Highly recommend for their family environment and professionalism.

We typically booked a grooming appointment but I will refuse to go back to this location.I have now booked 3 times consecutively in last few months and they refused us upon arrival or day of each time.February 5th I was 10 min late and she refused to take our dog because they were short staffed and didn’t have groomers. I understand we were late but usually they finish anywhere between 2-3 hours so and it’s never the same time, unsure how the 10 minutes affected that.March 5th they cancelled the appt that morning because there was no bather. Understandable but unfortunate.Today I took him and then they called me saying he had too many knots around neck and ears and didn’t want to irritate the skin. since they are short on groomers and short staffed there was no one who could cut the knots to get him bathed and brushed.This part is insane, he doesn’t have knots.. I brushed with my hands after and found none. He’s just a shaggy Bernese mountain dogI understand staffing is an issue across the country, but three strikes is enough for me.

After being a faithful customer for many years, this location is refusing to cut my dogs nails due to a prescribed medication. We called and spoke to the corporate office, and they stated we could get a letter from our vet for a medical exemption. Ashley, a store manager, called us and informed us that they would not honor the letter. She continuously talked over us and refused to have an adult conversation about the situation. She told us we didn't call the corporate office because we wouldn't have that number. It's a very frustrating situation to be told that we are lying and don't know what we are talking about. I guess this explains why it's never busy there. Definitely not going back.

Just stopped here for the first time to pick up some cat food and it'll be the last time. The prices are ridiculous (Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus and TSC are all more reasonable) AND they will charge you for bags. That's right, you'd better hope you have more than 2 hands to carry out any small purchases (like cans of food) because they charge for the bags. Seriously. My advice is to shop somewhere that actually wants customers to return.

Made appt for my mini golden doodle and scheduled two weeks out. I got email and text for me to confirm appt. and I did both. I took my dog for her 2p appt. and the manager told me she wouldn't have time to groom my dog today because she got off at 4p and my dog was easily a 3 hour job. I asked if she could start her and perhaps another groomer could finish her. I was told she was the only groomer there. I asked why the scheduling system would allow for the appt. to be made. She responded because it didn't work and I should have called to make the appointment. I reluctantly agreed to re-schedule for Saturday. While waiting for the rain to stop, the same manager accepted a dog that looked like a Samoyed breed for grooming. I ask her how she would possibly have time to groom that dog? She said another groomer was doing that dog. But I thought you were the only groomer here?? WTH She then told me to take my dog to petsmart. I spoke with the store manager who was very nice and she suggested another groomer and a 20% discount. The "grooming manager" would not agree to a discount. I told the store manager that with the grooming managers attitude I was not comfortable bringing my dog there for any services. Petco you lost a loyal customer with three dogs!!

super disappointed. I went in there an HOUR before closing and was very interested in purchasing one of the lizards available. i had cash in hand. and i just happened to be there on the same day the lizard was on sale and the promotion was ending THAT DAY… I politely asked if when he had a moment after he checked everyone else out if he could come and possibly get said lizard out to let me see it and it’s condition/health/ ya know…normal things you do before purchasing an animal?? and the guy working said “I’m gonna say no. they don’t like to be handled. you’ll just have to come back some other day and maybe someone else will get it out for you. but we are trying to close everything down”first of all, I’m well aware that those specific types of lizards don’t like to be handled too much because I’ve had over 10 of them. I’m WELL AWARE of what they like and don’t like.I am a loyal customer and a huge spender here and have been going to petco for years. But honestly after this,, I may not even come back.

The store manager Amelia is one of the most worthless people I’ve ever encountered. She clearly doesn’t know how to run a store so I don’t understand how she holds the position she has. Stop and watch her manage for 5 minutes and you can understand why no one wants to work here. All of her employees are quitting and they can’t keep anyone for more than a week.

We took our 2 pups in for grooming today. I gave fairly specific instructions including lengths for fur on torso, head, chest, and tail. My doodle looks fine. My golden looks absolutely ridiculous. Like a chopped up amateur tried their first grooming job and disregarded all my instructions. I’m not even as angry as I am sad. They told me the dogs had no mats “which is unusual” so there was NO excuse to do what they did.When I tried to speak to his groomer she said she was too busy and went into the back. Never ever again. Don’t take your babies here.
