Lots of self checkout lanes open. Having to.sacan stuff and stack it all at the registers is a bit annoying, only to have to put it right back in the cart. The sensors are so sensitive it really slows down the entire process of checking out. I went there for the sale of crab legs. $9.99 lb.The lady at the Deli was very helpful. The lady at the self checkout was also very helpful.

I usually come in here and have a pleasant experience however today was very different.I came in to grab a few things and wanted to leave as quickly as I came in. I was followed around the store and then a snarky remark while checking out. Maybe it was due to how I was dressed huh? Sweatpants and a hoodie. The way it made it seem as if I was going to steal and as if I didn’t have the money to cover my purchase. Disappointed to say the least.

As a mom of a 4 month old I order grocery pick up for the convenience every other week. Every time I have done this my groceries have been picked perfectly without any issues. However, this past week a shopper by the name of Amy W has started shopping for my groceries 5 hours before my scheduled pick up. I don’t think much of this as I’ve had schnucks shop my groceries well in advance before. A few minutes go by and my order has about 4 substitutions. This wasn’t too big of a deal to me but I’ve never had that many substitutions before. A few more minutes go by and my order is ready for pick up. I’m at work still since it is around midday and my pick up isn’t until 5pm but I’m confident that schnucks will keep my order cold until then. 8 minutes after I get the text that my order is ready I get a text saying that my order has been picked up. Once again I shrug it off thinking that maybe the text was a mistake. Finally when I arrive to the store at 5pm I get told that my groceries are already picked up and that there is nothing they can do. What really irritates me is that the manager did not come out and talk to my husband and I instead she kept sending out the grocery pickup employee to tell me this. Finally, the manager sends the grocery pickup employee to tell us that we need to call instacart. I sit on the phone with instacart for well over an hour and they tell us that since we ordered through the schnucks app the money goes directly to them. So from there we call Schnucks back and tell them what instacart said. The way we were treated by the manager was absolutely disgusting. We were yelled at on the phone by her saying that there is nothing they can do. We informed her that my bank account says the charge went to Schnucks St. Louis and she still wouldn’t admit that the store make a mistake or even attempt to help us get our money back. They kept saying that they cannot prove that I ordered groceries from them and wouldn’t even look at my schnucks app that had all of the information about my grocery order/payment. My husband decided to drive back over to Schnucks and go inside to talk to the manager. She was just as rude in person and said she won’t do anything because if she does she will lose her job. I called corporate because at this point I feel that someone needs to know what is happening at this schnucks. I explained the situation and I heard a long pause on the phone then was put on hold. I decide to hang up after a couple of minutes. I feel that this company is extremely dishonest and I feel that either the instacart shopper or a schnucks worker took my grocery order. What really upsets me though is the lack of compassion. Fortunately I am financially well, but what if this happened to someone who is unable to afford losing $122. Anyways, I have called my bank and they are working on disputing the charge. I spend well over $200 biweekly here and will take my business elsewhere ✌️

Cash no longer accepted at self checkout means I take my business to Walmart. Walmart gladly accepts cash, after all it is LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC & PRIVATE!!!!! A cash-less society is a bad thing.

Very nice grocery store. The store was modern, clean, and well organized. Aisles were easy to maneuver and laid out well. A good selection of items and prices were fairly reasonable.

Schnucks is the high-end grocery chain in SW Indiana. Their Newburgh store is one of their better ones, always clean and well stocked. Prices are a bit higher than other options, so we don't always shop there. But some items won't be available anywhere else.

Not a fan of the grocery store robot. Kept whistling at me and getting it the way. Should let that thing wander around after closing hours and not while customers are inside.Everything else was as to be expected of schnucks.

Very clean, very well organized. Slightly expensive, but one of the best places in Newburgh to get your fresh meat and produce. Also great spot to stock up on the essentials... Beer, Bourbon, and Wine!

Your fish section stinks worse than most bait shops I've been in I don't know how you're not completely embarrassed by it. It has been that way for years here and I don't know why you can't seem to get a handle on it it's really not normal no other grocery around the area smells like that it literally smells like a derelict fishing boat and for an upscale store that sells aged beef you should be ashamed.

The store is located in a convenient and nice area. It was clean and organized. This store has many options/items you don't find at other grocery stores in the area. Their meat selection is large and they have cut special items they didn't have out for me. The workers have always been courteous.

Love this atmosphere ; better than a Walmart experience to me...I like getting my items and leaving pretty quick...never can do that at a SuperCenter....less problems in the parking lot, too. :)

Is like all corporate stores, good luck finding someone to help you if you have a question, the employees either avoid you, or aren't trained to deal with customers and do every interaction seems strained.

Your self checkout is terrible! You literally have through the stuff in the bag and wait forever for you to be able to take your bag off! It shouldn't be that complicated! And the lady that man's the self checkout is very rude about! The rest of the store is pretty amazing a little expensive but nice!

Always tons of fresh produce. The bakery and meat department are always very good too. Custom cuts are never a problem. Good selection of wine if you're into that sort of thing. Never really had a bad experience here. Lines are typically short, so checkout is quick. Parking is close to the doors allowing easy access.

The pharmacy department needs improvement. People have medication they need to take on a consistent schedule, and when that medicine isn’t ready and available when the customer needs it, it affects their health, and that is unacceptable! Communication is key! If something isn’t going to be ready, please let the customer know in a timely manner.

Have always thought Schnucks was the best store for purchasing good quality food. Of course, the prices were a little higher than others but the quality was better. Now the prices are rising faster than income but if you desire longer lasting produce, Schnucks has it. Use coupons and their savings plan, you can find what you want. Their shelves don't have empty places.

It was just a quick trip. They had the one item we couldn't find at other places. This was my first time in this store. Appeared very nice and organized, but on the smaller size. They have a robot that was reading shelf labels; I have never seen such automated machine. I only know what it was doing bc the sign on it said so.

Always appreciate how nice this grocery store is. They are doing a wonderful job keeping people spaced out during the pandemic and I always feel safe going in there. The workers at the butcher counter are patient and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you get exactly what you need. We've also used Instacart multiple times at this Schnucks... Always a great experience.
