Fairly nice dollar general on the east side of Evansville. Store was well stocked and pretty clean. The prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly and quick to process checkout.

The store is closed by the health department. How bad does it got to be when they shut down a dollar general.The one on Pollack is a poophole so what the heck happened here? This was the nicer one.

This place looks now at like pics on here. Maybe when they first opened. This place is trash. This needs to be addressed. The company is so focused in putting money in their pockets and not maintaining their stores. Pay attention corporate! Get off your butts and go check out your stores and do something about them.

Our car broke down on the way out and Lindsey personally GOT MY CAR UP AND RUNNING WITH HER OWN TWO HANDS WHILE STILL RUNNING THE STORE. Can’t say there’s any better customer service than that. I love this location despite them being short staffed because the staff that does come in are SPECTACULAR. The dedication she had to help a stranger in need is not easy to come by, give this girl a raise promotion something !!!

The Manager is very kind. Since he has taken over the store it looks incredible. Also, he jumps right in to help his employees with whatever they may need, he doesn't stay hidden in an office like most of them do.

Good discount store with a good variety. Only problem is that with a large customer base, they also have trouble getting each new delivery unloaded onto shelves. Aisles are often cluttered with boxes and shipping containers filled with boxes needing to be unpacked.

Went in for ice cream in which their app showed in stock. I didn't look around at the rest of the store, but the food cases were not stocked well at all. I asked and the cashier was not sure but said something about they are not set up yet to carry their own brand. Left empty handed.

It'll do in a pinch. They typically have what I need when I don't want to go to a store that is further away. For that I really like this store.However, it's pretty unappealing when the cashier is using inappropriate language (with small children around) and has a Jerry Springer type interaction with her boyfriend all the while she is ringing people up.

It's often closed atEarly hours becuse of no staff , the isles are impassable at times with carts of stock and trash, they are out of items a lot of the time, you have to watcj sale nd marked down items or they will over charge you and I jave also had issues with regular prived items ringing up higher than the shelf or stickered cost. They do not answer their phone so it's impossible to find oit if they are copen or have something in stock before wasting a trip there. It used to be a good store but over the last two years it has really gotten bad .

Employee s we're friendly and helpful. Store was to overcrowded with merchandise to push a cart through every isle, that would be my only complaint, oh and they do not carry the dark green eagle menthol 100s only the lights.

Sorry no stars.. store is a mess. Front area noone from store was around...4 people standing in line..one of them had to find employee to check out. The front cash register just left where anyone could have come in and taken cash register? Aisles hard to go up and down...this store is just awful...I will rethink going to another but this one is close to my house. Sad that this store is in the shape it just needs to be closed or get manager that cares about the store. Too bad for DG...but someone needs to get it together! I had to put a star to post...but I probably would have not given one or actually put a minus!

This store is poorly managed and most of the staff with the exception of the one older woman are horrible at customer service. It’s a mess all the time, there’s always a line down an aisle and never two registers open no matter how many people are there. One day the cashier said she had been there for hours alone without any relief to even use the bathroom.

This store is big enough the only problem was it was another dirty store. The cashier was very friendly. Too bad the employees can't have more than just one or two so they can get stuff put out and maybe straighten the stores.

Half the stuff they put in the dollar isle isn't a dollar and you pay full price. Automatic door going outside has been broke for months and I hope I'm not there if a fire breaks out with all the carts blocking the isle ways you couldn't get out in time.

All of our cleaning items and toiletries are mainly bought thru the DG. It has such good prices and makes it affordable for the families. I especially appreciate the extra $5 in coupons.

Always seems to be a lot of items in the aisles. Stuff being used for restocking. Perhaps I have been there only during restocking hours, but seems to me middle of the day Sunday, probably not the best time to be putting new stock on shelves.

It's really nice and it lets me, my sister and brother clown in that place all the time and the coustemer service is great I love the cashier Sarah she is the best I only go in their everyday just to say hi to her I recommen 100% the best dollar general in Newburg ❤️❤️❤️ 🤪🤪😂😂

The clerk was very friendly, the store was well stocked, much better than the one in Pollack and greenriver rd.which constantly runs out of things, you have to manuver around stacks of stock left in aisle

I love all the deals you can find here. Stay away from the candy isle if you are on a diet. Their own brand of peanut butter chocolate for a dollar is great.

This store has really gone down since we lat lived in Evansville. The store was a mess and the cashier didn't want to stop stocking to check out the 5 people in line.......😐 I would drive further and find a different store.

The boss there was ride and didn't even speak to me when i checked out not did even make eye contact with me either. Cause she was the cashier. Don't feel like it's a friendly place there

This specific store is great love the layout and the staff is great probably the most helpful and friendly people I've met to date. This is definitely my preferred dollar general store.

This place was so unorganized and dirty. I couldnt find anything with the correct price, and when I finally got up to the register - the cashier was on the phone talking and cussing at his friend in front of me and my child. Will not be going to thus DG again.

I visited this store on 1/12/2020, there was one person on staff. Cashier had to care for the entire store, including checking in a truck. The line was long. However, the young lady was kind and very apologetic.

I work here it is an awful mess but so under staffed we can't stop to get a good clean and organize if you do you can't finish the daily list and cleaning a little while you have time does nothing it will be covered up again by tomorrow and unfortunately we only open 2 registers when there is a long line or Someone asks so if you shop here always ask the other employees to open on the other register

i have been to this location and for some reason it will be closed at different times at night with a note saying sorry for the inconvenience. it makes me pretty mad to drive all the way there and cant get what i need.
