I am not sure who the pharmacist was last night on 2.12 ( she has red hair) but it was the absolute best experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. She was able to speak to me as a mother and made sure I got the medicine I needed for my son urgently. Cannot thank her enough for her kindness and time.

I've been going to this CVS for 13 years and this is the first time I've never had enough medicine to give my son for the 10 days Because I always get 2 bottles and have to throw away half of the second one...so then when I call the pharmacy and talk to the supervisor he tells me I need to call my doctor well it's New Year's Day, nobody is open and any healthcare professional should know that an on call nurse is not going to be able to write a prescription refill or send in another bottle because you're 3 days short. So he tells me a robot measures the medicine okay maybe so but doesn't a human add up what that robot needs to measure? Somebody did their math wrong and my child doesn't have enough antibiotics to last him his 10 days and you're just telling me oh well call your provider on a national holiday where nobody is open, Or call the on call nurse to send them more wow how unprofessional and unknowledgeable is this so-called supervisor of a pharmacy!!!!!!!!!!! Happy New Year right, ha, completely unprofessional, has me livid!!!!!

The administration girls in the pharmacy are disrespectful…. They make you wait twice if you script isn’t finished and you have to wait. You’re sick with pneumonia and you’re there longer making everyone else sick. It was never like this before. Dec11/23@6:45 pm

When you call to check on a prescription you have to go through an automated system that is the absolute worst; there is no way around it. Frustrating, time consuming, dehumanizing; nothing resembling service; worthless- you can add the rest. Don’t use CVS.

CVS clearly hates veterans. I have been trying to get medications prescribed to me from the VA after hours line and CVS repeatedly says they aren't receiving the prescription and are refusing to help. They also like to say they don't usually fill VA medications and the girl on the phone had an attitude whenever the VA was brought up. After talking to the after hours VA nurse, she told me that I was not the only veteran dealing with CVS refusing to fill prescriptions tonight. So now I have to wait till the morning to get medications to relieve the pain in my back from the VA pharmacy (which is fantastic).

They have pharmacy technicians who display an attitude that borders, at times, on hostility towards customers!This is not a one time experience, but a persistent pattern of behavior.They lack proper training, coupled with no accountability, due to the lack of close supervision.Management doesn’t seem to care!!This doesn’t bode well for CVS reputation.

The pharmacy was the most terrible experience.. waiting, told to go to the other window waiting again I moaned out from being in so much pain and the tech Ella laughed at me in front of the customers she was waiting on... I have never been so humiliated!!! I will never step foot in another CVS again... thanks Newburgh CVS pharmacy for such a bad experience!!!!

They lie about sending prior authorizations. Have caught them on this multiple times now. I understand they get a lot of traffic, but the service is so far below industry standards that it’s baffling they have any customers.Rude service, lazy service, lack of service. Done!

Don't use the drive through even if there is only one car ahead of you.I have now waited in the drive through for over 30 minutes. Why couldn't the clerk tell the one car in front of me to get back into the line? I do not know.Update : I didn't catch the time when I first got into the line. From the time I did note I waited at least 45 minutes.

Thankful for the location, but 90% of the staff are some of the rudest, slowest people ever! A young technician named Jade is the one exceptionally nice and intelligent staff member in the pharmacy! Some of the employees at this CVS do not even wear masks. We are vaccinated & boosted but still wear masks to protect not only ourselves, but others as well. CVS needs to train their employees to be courteous, efficient & set good examples by wearing masks and enforce customers to do the same. You should feel safe going to your pharmacy! This pharmacy has been going downhill for years but the handling since the pandemic has made it a questionable business to go to. If we could change pharmacies, we would. Unfortunately, insurance has some people locked to CVS.

My prescription has been ready for a week. I've stopped by everyday afterwork and on the weekend to wait over 20 minutes in the drive thru without any of the 3 cars in line moving. Then I just give up and try another day. Now my prescription has to be resent and I will br sending all my meds somewhere else.It has been a consistent issue for the last year but now it's just has gotten ridiculous. I could spend the next 4 years in Pharmacy school and then lead a team to fill my own meds and it would take the same amount of time as the CVS in Newburgh. Spend the 10 minutes going to Evansville it will save you time.

The wait in the drive-thru was long. It's hit-or-miss. Sometimes, the line moves as quickly as you would expect & the next you may wait 30+minutes.But we keep using it so...take this review however you need to!

My provider sent in script for my R.A. pain meds. on 6-8-2023. When I contacted CVS to see if my prescription was ready I was told 'they didn't have any'. No explanations.

Every time I come to this CVS, employees huff and puff about having to do their jobs. The other day it was the young light-haired pharmacist, today it’s the dark-haired cashier with glasses. It’s not hard to pick up a bad attitude in a tone of voice. Very rude, and unhelpful people. I can solve the problem I’ve been having by just not going here anymore.

Stopped by for a prescription on tuesday, my insurance had changed so I dreaded going to CVS. Store acces was closed, so I had to go thru Drive thru and it 7 pm. Had the best experience of my CVS experience over the past few years. Drive thru resource was great, quickly updated my insurance, told us the prescription would be available in 15 minutes. When we came back, it was ready and during the time away - did recieve text message the ordwr was ready. This is not the way CVS has been historically, but i was impressed.Thank you!

This is the most painfully slow pharmacy I've ever regretfully used. It takes my significant other and I an average of over 60 minutes to pick up prescriptions, even after receiving a text notification that the prescription is ready. This could be counter balanced by a knowledgeable and friendly pharmacy team, but alas, the techs are typically rude and asking a question that requires input from the pharmacist adds an extra 20 minutes to the already painful experience. CVS should prioritize fixing problems with their existing locations before buying out all of the other pharmacies.

Anytime I stop at this CVS location it’s painfully slow. Store always looks messy, employees are rude and it’s more of a burden stopping in. I will absolutely not be stopping by this awful location anymore. Word of advice to corporate, when a cashier forgets to give a customer their change and asks for it their response shouldn’t be “Oh well” while shrugging their shoulders. I could care less about the change, but maybe train the employees to have better hospitality and customer service skills.

New prescriptions AND getting refills are very difficult and time consuming at this location. Refill online and it will still require a 20 minute phone call to make sure its right. After that plan on 2 trips there , because it wont be ready your first trip, even if you give them a few days. Plan on multiple phone calls to the store and your Doc for a new prescription. I switched to Schnucks and they are great. Call in a refill and go the next day and pick it up. I don't understand why this is so difficult for CVS.

Great experience. They were able to transfer my prescription from the Boonville CVS (whom had closed their drive thru window due to staff shortage)and have it filled in twenty minutes so we could pick up at the drive thru window. Employees were very nice.We appreciate their time and trouble.

This is by far the worst CVS I have ever been to. Filled with hateful people who wouldn’t know how to treat a customer if their life depended on it. I had to give you one star, but let’s pretend like its 0. I can’t believe it’s still open with how rude they Are.

The cleanest and best kept CVS in the area! Yes they are busy, especially the pharmacy, but when it’s the only CVS in the entire city of Newburgh with a high percentage of older residents, what can you expect? They all work hard in the store and I appreciate it!

If I could give no stars, I would. Some of the staff in the actual pharmacy are remarkably rude nearly every time. It’s to me, to my family, to strangers in line around me - they’re rude to everyone. And the pharmacy never seems to have regular, commonly prescribed medications or medical equipment pieces in stock. (Spacers for child’s inhaler, normally prescribed medications for post wisdom tooth extraction, etc..)CVS needs to retrain and/or fire a few people in the pharmacy. (I’ve never had any problems with the actual pharmacists or the people working up front in the store.)

The pharmacy techs are SUPER friendly as is the pharmacist. They almost ALWAYS have what's needed in stock(and quick to transfer to another CVS if needed sooner) downside is the drive through lines are crazy long. (Idk if that is the case elsewhere)

First of all, the people are RUDE. I arrived at 12:45 for a 12:40 Covid test and they told me that there is only a 5 min grace period. I explained that Google Maps took me all they way put to the Dam in Newburgh and that is why I was late. She said, well, we hear that a lot. Then she proceeded to walk away.Then she comes out 3 minutes later and says are you making a new appointment? She didn't twll meni needed to do that. She was rude as heck. Another lady came out and said it wasn't their fault that the GPS took me somewhere else. I explained that it needed to be fixed to prevent it from happening to others. She said it wasn't her problem. REALLY????? She works for CVS. Horrible people...do NOT go here.

The pharmacy has no clue what they are doing. I constantly have to call in to get my prescriptions started. If i don't call after my doctor puts in a prescription , it won't get filled. They are extremely rude. Two of my prescriptions were ready ,but one wasn't even being prepared. When you ask how long will it take to fill , they respond they Dont know. Maybe 5 mins maybe tomorrow.Unprofessional.

Had VERY PAINFUL strep, waited for my prescriptions in the drive thru for about 40 mins. Was told to wait another 20, went back through 30 mins later and was told to wait another 15. Went inside to get prescriptions instead and they told me they were out of what I needed. They told me they sent my prescription to burkhart because they had some and when I got there they were also out. On the way to Morgan avenue now I hope they’re far more helpful. This cvs is a joke.

Awful- In the Pharmacy department. I am one of those special clients that needs to have a specific drug not the generic that is given. I kindly explained this after my Dr. sent in my prescription. ( Which she said she would put in the notes) the gal I talked with gave me an attitude when I she tried to give me the generic and told me that don't keep in in stock and it is hard to get. She told me it would be in at the end of the week. I went in again and they basically told me the same thing, and again I nicely explained my situation and I was told my Dr did not put any of that in the notes and my meds would be ready Monday. I went in Tuesday and was told my meds were not ready that they have to send out for it and it very hard to get a hold of but should be ready by the end of this week. A few hours later I get a text from CVS explaining that I needed to contact my Dr because they did not authorize the meds I wanted. I called my Dr this morning and she was very confused because she said she sees in the notes she sent over. I have my prescription move over to a different place. After having a run around for two weeks I am over it, it is a good thing I plan ahead with my meds or I would be in some serious trouble.As for the store side. They have always been super friendly and very helpful! I have had zero complaints with them!
