Love my local Kroger New Haven! My pharmacy is here also. I'm in this store weekly and enjoy the friendly staff and deli staff. Always clean and friendly no matter how busy they are. They are busy every day. I'm proud of this store being in my neighborhood.

Great store to shop at especially if you have a Kroger Perks Card. Kroger is a great company who is a food pillar of alot of small communities that they serve with all kinds of varieties ranging from items for people with large bank accounts and small. With thousands of pounds of just meat donated to local food banks every month and that doesn't include other donations the company makes. Kroger is also a great place to work at, a union company with fantastic pay and benefits. As someone who has worked at Kroger and shops there still I can say this company cares about the customers and the communities they're in its not just about making money.

There were only self check outs open and the "cashier" watching the checkouts was sleeping! I asked a question and she pointed instead spoke to me. What is the world!? Kroger, you need to step it up. Hire employees that are helpful abd AWAKE! GOODNESS! (Sunday August 27th at 8:00am)

Store is in need of someone who cares. Today's visit wanted some pork links, just not the nasty expired Duraloc ones on there shelves, one pack they had turned a funny color even. Found some steaks in the same condition and others with today's expiration date. That's just neglect and nasty.

Plenty of fresh produce and meat selection, good selection over all. Parking was a mess though and the parking lot itself was small and a little confusing also.

Do you want to feel like your business is a bother? Do you enjoy lazy teenagers with attitude problems who refuse to acknowledge you while going through the checkout lane? Do you like stockers rolling their eyes at you while you pass down the food isle to look for your items?! Then come to New Haven Kroger! Spend a fortune and be treated like absolute garbage and ignored with even a basic common greeting! Have a douche bag teenager looking for a job? This is the place! Come on in!

Our Kro-GER(private joke between me and my husband-nothing to do with satisfaction at stores), is very clean, for the most part. The staff are great 👍 from cashier to pharmacy, bagging. Sometimes - we go to the stellhorn store IF there's an item not being carried at New Haven store. OVERALL we ARE PLEASED.

New haven store is awful. No longer shop there. I go to the one in southgate ..the difference is night and day. Southgate is always stocked and people are friendly and helpful. You dont get that in new haven . And the bakery goods are not good. I bought a cake for 20.00 and it was not good at all. So I guess not buying bakery there anymore . I expect good quality at that price and didn't get that.this is the new haven store. The whole store has gone down. The only positive I can say is the pharmacy. they are top notch and very knowledgeable. I have only praise for the staff at the pharmacy.

I came in after work and the butcher was closing up. His name was Dakota, and let me just say it was so refreshing to have an employee treat you with kindness, professionalism, and empathy. He was extremely sweet and his customer service was stupendous.

Update 9/15/2023 I've been going to this store since 2009. Kroger has always been a nice place to shop. They have really improved the produce the last year. They did remodel the store a couple years and that was a great improvement too !I'm always impressed by the staff, very helpful & pleasant ! The store is nice & clean. The variety & quality of products is good and items are easy to find. Getting assistance is not hard at all.

We purchased meat and cheese trays, vegetable trays and fruit trays for a party. They were excellent. All were perfect and fresh. Compliments to the Deli staff. You are the best! We will be back for more in the future. Thank you so much!

Not only is the New Haven location near my house but if I need anything last minute I just head on down, pick up what I need and head home.. The only issue is that the Kroger needs remodeled big time...

Just a quick trip in.. but while I'm in The chip isle an older lady is getting upset with the electric cart she was in.. I instantly knew it was dead.. so I ask her if I could help... She Was brought another cart... I'm just glad I was able to help her.. who ever is over the carts should make sure there getting charged...enough Kroger may need to invest in more to ensure they have ones charged enough for our elders!!

Easy in took awhile in checkout. When I finally got to the check lane, another lane opened up. Nice store overall. Found everything in produce. Last time there was a super nice middle aged man with a southern accent working in the meat department. He was very helpful.

I am a disabled African American man who frequently shops at any Kroger. On this day they advertised two for five dollars on Simple Truth Unsweetened Almond Milk. It is the usual custom to substitute for like items when there is no inventory on the products. However the white employees at this Kroger refused to do so. I have not had this issue at other Kroger stores. I believe discrimination is alive and doing well at this Kroger store. After denying me the substitute, they charged the person behind me for the groceries that I left behind. She was Black too. I will only shop here to conduct further testing.

I try not to go here unless absolutely necessary. I stopped to get some produce and was absolutely disgusted. I filed with the health department after they told me they would not take a closer look at their produce. I got romaine lettuce hearts and they were covered, absolutely covered in bugs! And this was inside a bag!

This location is not a marketplace, but, I love shopping there on my way home from work, 25 mins away😊. The employees are friendly and very helpful in finding things. The store is clean, there is ample parking and they are practicing the safety measures. They also offer a little more selections for vegan dieters.

I know this store is smaller than the rest of the stores. But I find it's getting a little difficult to find a handicap parking space when there's only five right in front of the store. Then I find at the handicap parking people are parking in between the handicap Park cars it's just getting a little out of hand and there is no scooter shopping cart ever charged or out of order for people that are handicapped and have a rough time walking thank you for your time

Store is Mediocre. I honestly recommend the one in Geargetown. They have better employee staff there and also a lot friendlier employees. The people who work here just suck.

This location is always clean and I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful when I have shopped here and when we have done Girl Scout cookie booths here. The produce is fresh and in good condition. This store is on the smaller side, so there are some varieties and items that are not carried here. I have not used the pharmacy at this lication, but I have noticed that there is never a long line of people waiting.
