When you employee is so high they can’t take your order at the deli. That’s the kind of day it was today.Update 5/11/23. Came back and no one is at the deli counter. Been standing here 10 minutes now. They allegedly sell Boars Head meat which has a factory here. Unfortunately, you can’t buy what we make. They saw me standing here and ignored me.

Without a doubt the worst grocery store around. Hardly any cashiers working, extremely long lines for the self checkout but worst of all is the sale pricing scam. If you aren't really good at math they will soak you every single time. Discounts are rarely right and sometimes not given at all on the sale items. We only go there every few months but have to go to customer service for a partial refund after reviewing the receipt on every trip.

Two weeks in a row the the deli has completely messed up our party trays for two events. The first week week the tray of sandwiches where all the same when they should have been multiple my email says variety of sandwiches and they all had chicken on crescent. This week for my daughter's 2-year-old birthday party a week in advance we ordered pinwheels and a Sandwich tray as well as cupcakes from the bakery. I have the email to confirm everything, when I went in they didn't have the order at all and just said sometimes that happens no apologies to nothing. This is ridiculous you people at Kroger need to get your stuff together.

Roxann that works at the self checkout, is such a pleasant and helpful employee. I really appreciate her helping me. I’m older and often need her assistance. I feel bad always asking for help, but she’s always so nice. Thank you Roxanne for always smiling and being so pleasant.

I have placed 2 pick up orders. The 1st order was canceled by the manager. The second order I went to the store to pick up and they had not filled it do to staffing shortage. You need to have a system in place to notify people when you know you cannot fill an order! My time and vehicle gas is just as important as your store.

It's very upsetting when I get off work and have just enough time to grab a few things I need before you guys close and then your employees decide to lock the doors 25 minutes early it's completely unacceptable especially by a manager. They wouldnt even let me in the building I had to wait until a customer left just to get it. Its ridiculous when you close at 11 and your doors are locked at 10:35-10:40. I get it everyone wants to go home but do better please.

Do not use their pick up. Not once but twice they never had my order ready. It took hours later to get my order. Kroger will no longer get my business. No calls I even alerted on app when I was leaving home to pick my order up. Kroger has gone to hell they never have products in stock. Past my pick up time and no order yet.

I do apologize if it is related to supply chain problems, because I know thats messing a lot of people up right now. But this location needs to step up their game on keeping their pop stocked, if that is something they are able to do.

Pick up here is ALWAYS a problem I have never had a good experience with it . Raw meat bagged with fresh fruit, bread crushed , cans on top of chips . Items said to be out of stock but I went inside and found them.

Not only does this store have the best quality items in town at a competitive price they have excellent customer service. For the last 10 years in new castle the best place to buy groceries. Excellent staff and service above and beyond even working with third party vendors to make sure of my 100% customer satisfaction!

I work 14 hours a day everyday on 9/4 there were like 5 employees in the self check out aisle,( all young people)my Brother is disabled, we had a case of water and not one of those young people offered to scan it, not normally a big deal but when you got five employees laughing and talking well of course they don't notice the items some customers are struggling with.

Is the kroger's in Newcastle is a prime of example of what happens without competition. When the marsh stores were still open, kroger did a good job With providing cups from her satisfaction and honoring their deals and rain checks. That is certainly no longer the case.

Fair prices, excellent service, good deals with a friendly atmosphere. Depending on time and day, parking isn't bad. With the convenience of having their "gas station" located in the same lot. Would recommend for families.

Always shop at Krogers, have shopped here for years, they have great prices on their food and I love the fried Chicken it's awesom,, I recommend them to anyone for your shopping needs....

Store is usually clean. Associates are friendly and helpful. Prices are way too high. Recently lost Marsh supermarket in town and their prices were high also. Most boxed and canned foods I buy at Wal-Mart even though it is farther away.

I left after waiting 8 minutes for the 2 people in front of me one which was not finished at the 8 minute mark in the customer service line. The lady at the working the customer service desk seem to not know where anything was and she moved at extremely slow pace finding it. I have consistently over last 3 years had the slowest and sometimes very unfriendly service at this particular kroger.

It sure would be nice to simply grocery shop and get reasonable prices without having to screw around with a key chain card or coupons.. I don’t like the way that I have to pay a hole lot more if I don’t buy 2, 3, or more of an item. Again it would be great if Kroger would have the same price for everyone.

It is always a pleasure to shop this Kroger location. It is always well stocked except when you arrive late in the day for hot sale items. But that's on me. The store is clean and and we'll maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Easy in and out. Wonderful workers in every department, the store is very clean. Kroger, (whether here in New Castle or in Indy) has been my store of choice for over 50 years. I LOVE KROGER STORES!

I dropped to 4 stars simply based on the young woman working the self checkout was rude to me and a few others, not the first time she's been rude to me so until someone teaches her proper customer service and just how to be nice and helpful in general I'll keep my rating at 4

Kroger's is my favorite grocery store and they always have what I need.. just really friendly people that work there and their produce is so fresh and the store itself is very clean...But the one problem I have is the ladies restroom is always dirty and has a odor too I've been going there for at least 3 years and I've never seen that restroom clean... I've complained at the front desk serval times but it never made a difference..
