I enjoy shopping here. They have a unique variety of items. They also have decent prices on most things. Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. I also like being able to get in and out quickly if needed.

I just went in to put money on my cash app card and the employee was standing by the carts doing nothing as I stood at the register waiting. When he finally came over there I was telling him what I needed and he interrupted me to answer a question from someone who was standing in the aisles asking him something. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Most times the employees are great and store always clean, today just an off day I guess

*UPDATE* Went in today for some pop and the price tags clearly say they're on sale but notta one was ACTUALLY on sale!! Idt the cashier appreciated what I had to say.. correct me if I'm wrong for feelin this way, but I feel like they should be more up to date with their items and tags.?《UpDaTe》Pretty much every time I go to Family Dollar, i SAY it'll be a quick visit, but because of my over spending habits, I always end up staying a lot later than expected. I blame it all on my absolute need to have to have every smell good candle, wax melts, spray etc. Lol.The employee at the register was super friendly, made eye contact, made me feel welcome :) I feel like that girl def needs employee of the month! :)It was a quick visit cause they were about to close but they had all the items I needed so it was an in and out visit. That's pretty much all I have to say about it lol

The only store "in town" so I don't have to venture out to St Rd 3. Its a life saver when you don't drive and run out of something essential. I heard on the news they're closing several Family/General Dollar Stores! Hopefully not ours!

It seems they are always out of stuff, and playing around while working! Good place to get some stuff, if in stock & if you need something quick. Their prices are way to high compared to other stores though,ex. Milk $2.50 at Kroger & Walmart both it's always half that.

A very reasonably priced place to shop. Whether shopping for like last minute needs or shopping for the month they got you covered. Could do better on there staff, cashiers are not friendly at all and unhelpful to boot!

Prices for the things that come out of a dollar store are too expensive that's for real...😐😕😑😶🙄😔😒 Things used to be cheaper I mean a lot cheaper now I might as well go to Walmart and get what I need... And like most of us we have kids that play with toys or some have grandkids that spend the night or weekend with them and if course we as parents and grandparents like to get our children a couple toys to accupy their time and the family Dollar could bring in some more toys, different toys and not cheap little toys that break in a day or less plz pick up on this review and possibly do something about toys and instead of having an family Dollar store app why not just go with coupons in sure you will get more business and people that uses the coupons I know I would in not running family Dollar in the ground but I would go in the store and by certain peices of clothing some I did not because the thread would just unravel"pointless"to buy but if I like it well enough and the price was right is just sew it myself to reinforce it and have a nice shirt or pair of shorts but it's even getting hard to find an outfit summer or winter... Last summer I went to Walmart and bought cotton shorts and tank tops for a buck each now what's really going on.... Back to Walmart unless we are lucky enough to get a Target, Sears, J.C Penny's A Big Lots would be great again we as New Castle residents shouldn't have to go out of town to buy clothing or shoes let's keep our money in our county ppl let's make a change for the better... Family Dollar plz lower your prices on some of the toys and things that we all know are to much THANK YOU.... 😀 This is funny and odd but I take a small survey to tell what the store is about and your supposed to check each one of you think that's true and it's all good until I hit send and it has nothing that I put on there it puts its own on there and then says thank you it's people like you that hello is so a better job or some BS like that. What a joke LMAO WOW GREAT JOB FAMILY DOLLAR..... NOT

Prices are HORRIBLE! Examples just from memory: Monterey xxl frozen burritos: here $1.25 Walmart: $1.00, ramen noodles $.30, $.10 @ grocery Monster energy here $2 Speeedway/walmart $1.86. Marlboro here $6.59 has station $6.03. $20 cash back adds "convenience fee" of $1. The prices here are insane for a "dollar store." If you spend money here, PLEASE do some comparison shopping because you are blowing an extra 10-20% or more by shopping at this "dollar" store!
