Quality and service do not compare to what you get at a locally owned grocery store. Variety and selection is not good, as the brands do not sell their best in the dollar channel. I’d rather my money on groceries not go to some big corporation but back into community through Joe’s.

The Isles Have no room for 2 Carts 2 pass each other !Plus The Older White Hair Lady Is Very Rude wen It Gets close 2 Closing Time !Duhh ,we Know Wat Time It Is ! This Store was recently remodeled ??WELL ? KINDA SORTA?Yes the self-checkout is brand new! We never had that before! Nor did we have fresh produce ,Like vegetables and fruits! Other than that . The new freezers and fridgs n front of store or Thier the old ones pushed up front ! So when u come the Isle's are pushed together closer , Almost too tight ! Not enough room for a cart & another person to get thru !But Like the New Look ! And it's not like They don't have Space 2 make the Store Bigger . There's plenty of land here ! 😝

Staffing has gotten better Water bottles sitting outside. Yuck let me share what can happen. Plastic can melt and seep into the water. Tastes like Plastic and make you sick. No produce.

Nice store everyone has always been polite visiting..I will say I can mostly get what I need here but since the Corona virus and shipping issues that impact the whole country at large for several months now quite a few staples I truly use have been out of stock.I don't blame DG themselves it's just something I've noticed as of late. Its always been tidy despite several comments saying it's messy the only time I see it resembling any type of mess is delivery day but that is to be expected as it's a store with limited space for new stock deliveries.

I like Dollar General, they have good prices on things I use on a daily basis, and in a lot of cases they have many house brands that are just as good as the national brands for a lot less money, I have bought everything from paper towels to pasta, from potato chips to dish soap and have not been disappointed in the quality of their products

This is my local go to store. Always well stocked and clean. There's a young guy behind the counter who always seems to be there. Nice, polite and always working hard. I appreciate the friendly service.

This is absolutely my favorite Dollar General ever! Last year they remodeled the store and I think EVERY Dollar General should be like this one. They have the whole north side wall of the store is all refrigerators and freezers! So they now carry limited kinds of meat like 5 different brands of chicken nuggets. A WIDE Variety of lunch meats. AND TONS MORE FOOD IVE ONLY SEEN AT THIS DOLLAR GENERAL! They probably sell so many different kinds of quick easy microwavable dinners that you could eat a different one every night for 2 or 3 months and never have to eat the same dinner twice! Its amazing and i couldnt belive it even when i seen it all finished. Its like a walmart stuffed into a dollar general size store. If you live in the area i guarantee you do 75%of your shopping here and if u dont live in new carlisle just come and check it out! We need to make them remodel every DG STORE like this one!!!

Our New Carlisle store is the nicest Dollar General I have ever been in. Clean and the staff are all so nice!
