By far the cleanest Dollar General I’ve seen. The employees were friendly and helpful. They have fresh produce in a small area which I did like. Very organized store compare to other DGs. They have self checkout as well. 👍

Very unprofessional people who work here. Very unsafe and unclean environment. Stock carts are always out and In the way making it very hard to find anything. When employees are asked questions they get crappie like they think it's someone else Job and not theirs to help you. The few times I have tried to call I've just heard beeping like their phones aren't on. Store needs a good leader to clean it up and take charge or they need to just shut down its a joke of a store

If your staff could take a better approach towards customers, then your customers wouldn't retaliate against your staff after them being aggressive towards the customers. Let alone my children being put in a hostile environment due to your staffs lack of customer service skills. The store lacks a proper leader.

Called the store to talk to a manager and was screamed at about another person's issue that had happened in the store I couldn't get a word in and then was hung up on. Called again and was hung up on. This store is very unclean can't even get a cart up any aisle. I won't be shopping at this store again and I have told a lot of people about my experience and they said they will avoid this DG with all cost as well. Very unprofessional people who work here!

It’s sad that the employees have to deal with impatient older ppl from age around 35 to maybe around 59 ish and I would also help that if maybe sometimes the other customers that come here won’t be so self-centered and be lazy about using the self check out or understand that sometimes maybe the employees are doing their best but they just want their way but they’re not kids so they should just grow up and understand which I’m proud of the employees having to deal with GROWN adults that act like kids when they don’t get their way there’s a martin’s right across the road if you want someone to do your own stuff and have it your own way go over there but to be fair there are some customers that are nice that I have seen and they feel bad that some of the other employees that work there have to deal with people like that but also people don’t understand that the employees there they have the right to straight up just trust pass you will not serve you because if you don’t to argue with them I’ve heard that they can refuse your service and tell you that your trust pastBecause of people acting like kids instead of being an adult and saying OK

This dollar general has not been remodeled yet, but the people are great! Really nice staff, they just need an improved store layout.

The store looks ALOT better since the new manager took over, especially considering that I've only seen the same 3 people working there you can tell they are extremely short staffed, I feel bad for all 3 of them because they have to stock that entire store alone while trying to assist customers and most of the customers I've witnessed purposely give them attitude for things that are out of their control they shouldn't have to catch attitude and be called names because some customers dont know how to press the pay now button on a self checkout and select cash or card the instructions are posted all over their self register and its just commen sense not to bring yourselfs or your children into a public place with no shirts or shoes and it's not their fault they only have 3 employees I think the other customers should learn a little patience and have some understanding that not everybody gets to sit at home and live off their husband's/wifes or social security not to mention the fact that for some reason the customers of Nappanee go out of their way to make someone's day bad I've never seen employess get treated so poorly as I have at the stores in nappanee I feel bad everytime I go In there and hear what the customers say SMH.

Nappane IN Dollar General. Is so bad. Always packed with the roll carts, nothing ever put away. Literally nowhere to go comfortably in that store. The managers and associates aren't doing their jobs. The roll carts do not belong on the sales floor 24/7

The place is ALWAYS a mess...i will sayvas of lately it IS getting a little better but now the workers need to learn how to use the cash registers. There self checkouts suck and some people don't know how to use.

Absolutely the worst Dollar General that I have been in! Filthy looking, big carts blocking most of the aisles, you can't see what's on the shelves - total mess! Employees get mad when you complain, I was told that the manager hates everyone, another employee said it doesn't help when people complain! This store is a total embarrassment to the city. Are there not codes of cleanliness and safety they must follow? I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt by trying to move a cart to get what they need. They need some guidance!

We went there on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 the lights were on the doors were locked. We then went back at 1:00 pm, same thing. The sign on the door read closing at 5 pm.The isle's are jammed with stock. Very dangerous for employees and customers .

This is by far the worst Dollar General I have ever been to. Everytime I come here I remember why it's a mistake. The store is very dirty, the shelves are never stocked and carts full of boxes are always blocking the shelves, and lined up in the isleways, and you can not find what you need. It is obviously understaffed, like every where else, but someone needs to take charge and clean this place up. It is in a well respected community and looks like trash. Here's a suggestion, close early and have the staff you have stock and clean and make a it respectable place of business. Take pride in your work!!

This store is horrendously underrstaffed!!!!! The employees seem to be doing their best to keep up with stocking the shelves but there are ALWAYS a million carts of boxes in the isles making it impossible to get to or see what's available behind them. Jackie and a couple other staff are extremely friendly and helpful but there are a couple of employees that are just plain rude each time I'm there. I try to choose a nearby Dollar General that's clean and tidy when I can because the hassle and uncleanliness of this one just isn't worth the frustration.

Very helpful staff, they always know where to find something. If they don't have what I'm looking for they tell me right away. Manager is there day and night never gets time off. And if they busy when you go in just please be patient with them and they will try their best to help you as quick as they can. They are good people there. I'm typically just going in for snacks and drinks, which they have a wide selection of that stuff

Can someone explain to me why we don’t have a better Dollar General in Nappanee the isles are always packed nothing is ever put away I finally got a self check so the one employee that works there should be able to put stuff on the shelves and the door is an automated so you have to try and get your car in an out it’s just terrible. can’t something to be done?

Staff is friendly but the store is dirty! There are always stocking carts in every aisle. You can’t even see what’s on the shelves most of the time. It always looks like they just had a big sale and customers wrecked the shelves when you can see them! The freezers stink. And very rarely are two cashiers available at once so if the line grows be prepared to wait!!

Need a better check out setup ! Ive put my things down multiple times and walked out to avoid waiting in line with 7 plus people in front of me. Theres another check out but in the corner so they never use it . Employer was extremely rude to me when asked a question about product, my jaw dropped, I hate having to go back !! Big store but Always Always has carts full at the end of each aisle, very hard to move around

This is the worst Dollar General I've ever been to. I've never seen such a dirty store. They have clothes and a ton of other stuff lying on the floor. Their floors look like an army walked through with their muddy boots. The coolers are so old it looks like Noah used it on his ark to cool down his food for the animals.

I feel very sorry for the staff of this store. They try their best to take care of customers. It is very dirty and I avoid it because of how crowded every aisle is and how hard it is to find anything. This town needs a new DG. Every aisle, every surface is dirty and gross.

Absolutely uncalled for!! You would think unboxing the shipments within 24 hrs is a given. How are they making it when shelves are empty & you can’t buy anything! Dirty too. Just yuck.

Employees are super rude. Multiple times I have accidentally walked out without taking all of my bags or left something on the counter and the cashier just watched me leave without saying anything. They won’t talk to you or even look you in the eye.

Complete mess. Bare shelves but tons of carts with unpacked boxes to where you can’t get down the aisle.. Hire a part time stocker or close early so the 1 employee has time to do it. The lady was struggling to even sweep quick because of the number of customers coming and going. I will be going to wakarusa DG now.

The store is a dump! Always boxes in the aisle makes it hard to get down. The one younger lady that works there is lazy and rude! She talks to her husband in the isles and makes customers wait in the line until she's ready. Also refused to give me an item at the price it was marked. So I left.

I think it could be a decent DG if you could actually get to the shelves, but unfortunately you can't. There are stocking carts everywhere and the shelves that you can actually get to... well, we won't talk those.

I love using my digital coupons.. On days they get shipments they always flood the isle ways with boxes of stuff that need put up.. Makes it hard to get carts down some isles, but other than that good experience

This Dollar General is the dirtiest and most unorganized store I've ever been in. It looks as if people broke in and trashed it. Unfortunately that's just how it always looks. Merchandise on the filthy, dirt and trash littered floors, shelves in shambles. If it wasn't one of the few stores in this area, I would avoid going in whenever possible.
