Stopped here for a quick bite, and I'm glad we did! The food was tasty, and the prices are great! You can easily eat here for $10 or less, and that is so hard to do anywhere nowadays. The kids' meals come with a side, a drink, and a cookie. If you're looking for a quick bite (and can get past the age/appearance of the facility) this place is great! I will definitely be going back.

I have been going here for years and recently moved to Texas. Every year when I come back to visit my family, I always make sure I stock up on hot dogs from here. This year, however, they informed me they no longer have the 5 hot dogs for whatever the price was. So I was only able to get a few and it cost almost $25. They only took 50 cents off each hot dog. I love Arnie's Hot Dogs, but I will not be going back unless they bring that special back.

It’s sadly time to say goodbye to an old friend. I’m eating at Arnies for the last time today. Why? Because $15 for 2 hotdogs and a drink is my limit. We’ve been eating here for over 40 years now. We’ve stayed loyal though the pandemic but we’re done. There’s enough people still coming here so it’s not like anyone’s going miss my business.

Open since 84. Honest good tasting food, great prices. A decent chicken burger for under 4 dollars (without tax)! And of course you and the kids will like to see one of the most awesome murals you'll find in any restaurant while you eat up.

Great choices on pizza puffs, delicious chicago all beef dogs, they even have fish sandwiches and shrimp. I tried the fried pickles from the first time from this place. I like to mix my food and this is one of my cheese fries topped with my beef, pickles and peppers.

Went here, ordered $40 worth of food. I specifically ordered a polish sausage with fries. I get home and the polish ended up being a hot dog and my fries weren't in any bag, or tray, they were literally at the bottom of the bag and ice cold. The hot dog was stuck to the paper it was wrapped in, which is odd why it wasn't wrapped in aluminum foil, and drowning in mustard. Won't be coming back.

I came last week and got some food and they forgot to put my extra fries in I ordered. I called to let them know when I noticed at home and the owner was extremely nice. He apologized and got my address to send me a voucher for a fry. Well it was a holiday weekend so I knew it was going to be a few days which completely understandable 🙃. I Check my mail box today and I got the envelope. I opened it and I was just in awe. Not ONLY did I get 5$ in vouchers. .. he took time out of his busy day of being a restaurant owner, wrote me not only a apology but a good amount to apologized and ask me about my holiday weekend and so on... I am in complete awe and just made my day... it's been a LONG TIME since anyone has done anything close to what he did for me. I definitely didn't expect more then what I was missing in my order let alone such a nice letter and extra for a meal. I just want to thank you Steve from the bottom of my heart. Your such a great person and doing such a great job. It's so refreshing to see how there is still love and kindness from others. I definitely did not expect you to take time from your busy life for what you did. Your restaurant was my grandpa's FAVORITE EVER!!!! He wanted nothing else other then food from your place and right before he passed I got him food for him from there. Just memories there and now the letter for missing fries it's just nice... I can't thank you enough!!!!!

Used to be a great place, but it’s gotten more expensive and they give you less food nowadays. The amount of fries they include with a hot dog, is sad. You’re left still hungry, or you’re hungry within an hour of eating because it doesn’t fill you up for long. I still like their food, because it does taste good, I just wish they would give you a bit more.So, for lunch, it’s good. For dinner, I’d go somewhere with larger portions.

I went here on my way to Target. Thought that these little places that have been here for awhile have got to be good. I was wrong. Chicago dog was just a ok, nothing to write home about. They threw 6 fries in the bag no container or nothing. Will not be returning. Service was just ok. The guy act like he didn't want to take my order

Worst hotdog I’ve ever had. Ordered a Chicago style hotdog , there were more onions than dog and not very warm. I waited more than 10 minutes for a hotdog and drink. The fries that came with the hotdog were mushy and cold. I was the only one one inside besides the cars going through the drive thru. And I paid over $7 for this and had left them a tip thinking I would get good service. Definitely not coming back.

Great hot dogs. I especially love the chili dogs. You cannot leave this place without trying their funnel fries. If you love funnel cakes, these fries are going to satisfy that craving. Great staff and great prices.

O lived in Hammond for over 10 years and never stopped by until today. Best decision I ever made! I've been missing out! Polish sausage was on point and Italian Beef was SUPER flavorful! I'll definitely be be back!
