This place has really gone downhill. Whoever places orders to restock their inventory desperately needs retrained or replaced. I've never seen a place so consistently out of stock of basic things. I've gone in 4 days in a row for softener salt and they are out. They are constantly out of stock of Timothy pellets. If you try to inquire about anything, the staff is clueless. I went to a few different people in one day to simply find out when their next order comes in or who/when an order is placed for restock and I still couldn't get a proper answer. Tractor Supply exceeds Rural King at keeping their inventory stocked and meeting customer service needs.

Carhart, Ariat, live poultry, feed, wire, and guns. And just about anything else you need if you are a farmer. If you are not familiar with the farming culture, this place will be a mystery to you, and if you are familiar, a staple. For me I have decided I will raise chickens and so when I entered the huge building, I simply followed the chicken feet painted in the concrete floor until I found the live chicks and all their assorted paraphernalia. Unfortunately they seem to be a hot commodity and so the selection was sparse. I will have to come back when they get their delivery Wednesday afternoon and beat others to get the prime chicks. Meanwhile I entertained myself with the huge assortment and kind of merchandise here. Check out the pictures. Really it’s like Walmart for farmers. Quite the place.

We don't have a Rural King where I live (wish we did), but it's always fun to walk through their store. BUT, the bathrooms are disgusting, I try to never use them because every store I've been to were very dirty and they have holes in the wall, I feel like if I do use it I'll need to get a hepatitis shot.

Outdoor supplies and off brand candy are great. Staff are nice enough and the music is always family friendly. Take your four-legged little one and two-legged little one for a treat for each of them. My family always likes the rabbits and baby chicks, too.

Staff was friendly, but their online ordering is not very good. Placed an order online showing everything was in stock, but after driving 45 minutes, I was informed that not everything was available. This has happened multiple times at this store. Don't have this issue at other Rural Kings.

I love the atmosphere, big box store selection with a personal country feel. I like to take my little girls there, eat popcorn, listen to the music and look at country stuff lol.Also I noticed that the prices on items like windshield washer fluid and automotive chemicals and fluids are cheaper than Walmart.

Excellent customer service, bought 10 chicks but 1 chick didn't even make it, was dead within 4 hours, store worker put all 10 xhicks in one tiny box, don't know if it got squashed, worker friendly & helpful but needs to think about putting into 2 boxes for 10 chicks, cashier very friendly & double bagged my chicken box to keep them warm.

Not only the best popcorn in town, it is my favorite store for work cloths, boots and outdoor supply here in Muncie! Great service as well, I'm asked if I need help then promptly left alone when I let them know I don't.

Ordinarily, this place is awesome. But today, the cashier was absolutely rude as hell. First, she didn't even bag my items. I had to ask for bags. Then she was mean and rude when I asked. Then she wanted to put everything in one bag. Hey, management, please get your staff to play nice.

Friendly, helpful staff. We like their sales. Have a great selection of seasonings and supplies for popcorn. We get grilling and pet food there. They have a nice variety of clothing and shoes. Seed and plants for the garden, they have a wide selection. Highly recommend

I bought a bunny yesterday and it’s very sick. Bad diarrhea, and very inactive and not eating or drinking. Rural king won’t do anything about it at all. I ADVISE ANYONE TO NOT BUY BUNNIES RIGHT NOW, it’s probably not the only one sick. 😢

Hello. I was just in your store shopping for batteries. I asked the desk to get some one to help me, they called no one came. I saw a guy by the baby chicks, unloading boxes, Christopher was his name...I asked him to help us. He did..my husband has cancer and we are 70 years old, Christopher was outstanding..You need more guys like him ... polite, will to stop and help. I was ish you could thank him..... outstanding ...have a great day.

THEIR RABBITS ARE SICK DO NOT BUY RABBITS FROM THIS RURAL KINGI had bought three rabbits last week and all three have been sneezing and one passed away just 4 days after purchasing. They say they will not accept refunds on the rabbits but their refund policy mentions that NOWHERE! This place will scam you out of your money and they mistreat their bunnies. DO NOT BUY ANY ANIMAL FROM THIS RURAL KING!Edit: to the "ownes" response, how unprofessional to hint at that a potential customer is lying. Maybe I should report this rural king to the humane society.

Always have great deals on clearance and sales. We buy a lot of clothing here along with the random bolts needed when doing repairs. Overall a store we can usually find a bargain when we stop in.

Always good deals . Took my dog for her first visit inside of a store and the employees gave her tons of attention and treats ..she loved it . I buy treats for dogs without knowing if they would like something else .it's kind of cool being able to let your dog see and smell the treats and pick their own .
