This new Dollar General is always very clean, safe and friendly. We visit this store frequently and always has what we need. You can always count on friendly cashiers even if the store is busy. Good prices.

Just needed to stop in to buy a quick item but the odd hours defeat the purpose of convenience. Rough looking hand drawn hours/closed sign on front door isn’t even followed. The sign said that the store was open till 5pm but at 4:30pm it was closed with employees standing in the parking lot talking. I rarely write poor reviews, but I’ve showed up a few times and am met with this. I get it’s hard to fill shifts to stay open later, but at least adhere to the hours you’ve placed on the front door.

I really like this store; however, I watched an employee named Kathy light up get cigarette before exiting the store, and then proceeded to walk by the propane tanks, with a lit cigarette, and then walked back into the store, with a lit cigarette, only to finally walk back out and smoke on the other side of the store. I've seen this behavior by her before, but it's getting so common something really needs to be done. I'm am contacting corporate about this and will leave my 1 star until something is done. I don't know how this store can possibly have good reviews because it's always closed. Whether the fire department shuts them down for code violations in their brand new building or they don't have staff to open, it's always something. I have never seen a major chain location of any kind run this poorly.

I went to buy tea. The place was a disaster! They had things pulled off the shelves. Two employees were stocking shelves. Things were hard to find even the clerk could not help. Not much room to move around freely. I could not move my cart around because of boxes, crates in the aisles. The employees were friendly.

Terrible customer service at this location. Lady that claimed to be the general manager had middle school communication skills. You get what you pay for... Dump!

I love the Dollar General but especially this one the lines are not extremely long and the service that's great. I went in that particular day and found a great savings I'm 75% off of already reduce clearance items it was such a good deal that I came back a second time that day I spent a total of $80 I was very happy with my purchases.

If you need something fast and cant drive into town this dollar general is great! Its huge and clean. Nice staff and big selection. Fair prices and convenient

If I could give a zero rating I would! My wife stops in to pick up a treat with our 5 year old daughter, when our daughter informs my wife that she needs to use the restroom. Now remember that she is a 5 year old kindergartener and she is desperately in need of a restroom. My wife asks the cashier if our daughter could use their restroom and to her surprise, she said no Now I understand that these arent public restrooms, but it was clear that it was an emergency. When all was said and done, my wife had to take our little girl and have her urinate outside in the parking lot. What kind of monsters work here? This is a little girl! There are too many other places to spend money. You will never get any of my family's hard earned money, and rest assured that we will tell everyone we know and everyone we see about this!

I came over from England last year to visit friends etc . It was a pleasure to shop in this store , and a great experience , as staff , especially the store manager , we’re very helpful, shop was stocked well , clean and tidy . Couldn’t fault it , lovely shop , staff etc .

I had submitted my job application for hire at dollar general located in royerton,in. I told by the store manager that my background check failed. That had never happened before. Thing is I used to work for a local foundry that held military contracts. To hire on with the foundry I had to pass homeland security background along with NCIC check,that only took 4 hours and I passed. So, according to the mgt,dollar general Is a higher security risk than making parts for our Armed forces???

Great store,very nice and clean,only issue is they do not allow anyone to use their public bathroom since store has opened. Was told it is out of order for the past year.

This is the cleanest, most organized store around this area. The only thing i would improve on, would be to have a person at check out available who doesn't have to stock at the same time.
