Care Animal Hospital has been one of the best facilities for animals I’ve seen. We had to make the hardest decision as pet owners and put our family dog to sleep. I called them 30 minutes before they closed, told them what was going on, and without hesitation, they had us come in to help us. Once we got there (10 minutes before they close), they didn’t rush us, didn’t make anything feel hurried, and gave us the time we needed to process what was happening and say our final goodbye’s. They were so kind and sympathetic, and I was too much of a mess to tell them how much I appreciated their service and quick response. I wish I could do more than just give a five star review. Thank you so much Care Animal for making this painful process a bit easier for us to endure, and thank you for taking us so quickly and last minute.It was a bit pricey for our budget, but honestly, what isn’t with our economy right now? Medicine and healthcare items alone have always been expensive and I know that it isn’t their fault.

100% recommend. We had a sudden emergency that required surgery and they welcomed us immediatley and treated us like family. We haven't found a facility or vet that cared that much, so not a steady home. But, this is our new vet & home for sure!! No doubt! Everything was amazing, down to the smallest details from the doctor himself. The staff is so kind and caring. From the moment you are greeted at the door to when you leave the office- nothing is unanswered or unattended to. My dog loves to go there, even right after surgery or shots, she can't wait to go inside.

All I can say is that they are the nicest people. The doctor cares about my pet and it's nice to finally find one who cares about my fur babies almost as much as I doMy regular vet wasn't gonna get my baby in til next week he needed HELP now and they got me in the same day.THANK YOU to my doctor and the rest of the staff .

I would not trust my fur baby with anyone else, I know they care about you and all the animals they take care of. I have been bringing Molly here for 9 yrs and will continue to do so until she crosses the rainbow Bridge and then entrust in them to take care of her after that.Everyone has always been so nice and caring, I have never had a bad experience at CAH.Keep up the Good work!!And Thank You!!

My recent experience at Care Animal hospital was amazing! I brought a very sick kitten in that I had just adopted and the vets, techs and staff did everything possible to save his life. 3 weeks later he is a happy, energetic, thriving kitten. All the staff who work there are very friendly and helpful and I would never go anywhere else to have my pets treated.

The staff are always kind, caring and compassionate - no matter how many times you are there and/or have to make tough decisions. I had to help my nephew-son cross the bridge unexpectedly last week. I had asked for 2 vials of his fur so that my brother and I could both have a keepsake. The office surprised me with 2 sets of his paw and nose prints. That small kindness brought tears to my eyes. Thank you guys for being so amazing! ❤️❤️

This place is great Bella broke a dew claw last night. It was just hardly hanging on I was afraid to cut it. They got her right in with no appointment and fixed my friend all up. Now she is comfortable and in her favorite spot in front of the heater what a relief. If you like me there is nothing in the world I wouldn’t do for my best friend. I’ve been with my vet for years he simi retired I’m seriously thinking about switch to this place.

Affordable, my vet wanted to make me wait 4 days before putting my beloved dog down. This place got me in same day. They are my new dogs vet. Prices are very affordable and the care given is top of the line. The staff all have the best attitudes of any veterinary facility I have ever been in the past 30 years. Their awesome

Losing a pet and emotionally handling the loss is hard enough, but when you have a vets office that can compassionately help you through that time makes a world of difference. During lockdown and even months after, I was grappling with declining health of my dog and had just moved to Muncie. Care Animal Hospital was recommended to me and I couldn’t be more grateful for the compassion they showed at that time. Now, years later, my other dog was declining quickly in her older age but I have since moved away from Muncie. I traveled over three hours to bring her to the same vet her brother went to because of the compassion the staff shows, the speed that they are able to work with their cremation services and get my fur baby back home, and knowing that they truly care for animals. For me, it wasn’t a question - I would drive the three hours there and three hours back because my fur babies deserve the best. Thank you for handling them with such care but also for the compassion your staff showed during both of the most difficult times saying goodbye to my children’s emotional support dogs after so many years.

I have been taking both of my dogs to this vet for a few years now. I still go to them even though I moved a little over an hour away, the drive it worth it to me. The staff has always been super kind and accommodating, especially with getting my boys in sooner if they're sick. Their prices are about middle range but significantly more reasonable than the vets I am closer to. They are always happy to break down costs and why they're prescribing a certain prescription, which I always appreciate.

We had our dog die there because of an animal attack. I ran in with panic and the workers immediately went out and helped out so much. They didn’t have any hesitation to pick up my dog even though he was bleeding a lot. They were compassionate with our dog and one of the workers were even crying because our dog died. They also treated us very well and they did very good, especially for having 8 people there for one dog.

My cats, Bing Bong and Matilda, have had excellent care here. Everyone is friendly. It is expensive for a college student but I am grateful for a vet I trust in the area. Shoutout to Carly! She’s always very sweet and interested in my cats’ well-being.

Our cat Tadpole that we adopted from an animal shelter for Christmas became deathly I'll. Care Animal Hospital did all they could to help him. We ultimately decided to send him over the rainbow bridge and chose their cremation services. I'm SO grateful for the fur I was given in an adorable glass bottle. When we brought him in it wasn't 100% certain we weren't taking him home we needed a final opinion. And in the midst of all the crying and heartbreak I forgot about fur and whiskers I'd and paw prints ... but they took care of that. THATNK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! No words describe the relief of having something tangible.

The Drs. at Care Animal Hospital are incredible! Their compassion & knowledge are FIRST RATE! We have been Care clients for many years - our dogs & cats have always been treated at Care from the time we rescue them, to the time they pass away. Our experiences have always left us feeling that our pets are in excellent hands! And as for the Drs' egos, if they are stumped or think your pet needs medical attention beyond their scope, they have no hesitance in referring out. And when they do, their recommendations are well thought-out & researched.The rest of the staff at Care Animal Hospital are also fabulous - from those who answer the phones, to the Techs & Assistants working with the Doctors in the rooms - everyone is highly trained & sincerely friendly.

My dog wasn't acting right. Couldn't potty, trouble walking, couldn't set up right. Called on a Friday night at 4:00, got in at 5:00 and they gave him fluids. He ate something he shouldn't have. They were very thorough and caring about my dog. Would highly recommend

The people are nice and professional and the service is good. However you can get that same service for wayy cheaper somewhere else. They were going to charge me $500 to get my cat neutered. Went to RedKey and they only charged me $75.

I have brought 2 of my 4 dogs and my cat to Care. The staff there is friendly and extremely compassionate and caring towards my pets. They've answered any questions I may have and given us the best treatment plans based on whatever crazy issue has come up (it's mostly the cat if I'm being honest). Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Vet.

It has taken me a while to write this review, I could not be more disappointed with the treatment my dog and I received at this clinic.My dog Bear was an older dog but aside from moving slow and sometimes having a hard time getting up he was happy and as active as he could be until suddenly he wasn’t. He was having trouble breathing, could not hold his bowels or urine . I called care as they were the only place I could get him into.on a Saturday I was going to have him euthanized because of his condition, then he was able to get up so I requested the Dr look at him to see if anything could be done , tests were ran medication prescribed and we were assured it was an inflammation and fever and he had a lot of life left to live.$906 later We took him home he was better for a few hours we were able to get some food and water in him. By morning he was not doing well. I called care had to leave a message and did not get a call back until the following evening. By this time Bear was not doing well they scheduled an appointment for the following afternoon. When we woke up in the morning it was obvious Bear would not make it until the afternoon. I called Care again as soon as they opened and requested an earlier appointment. I wanted to use my care credit again but my fiancé would be bringing Bear in I was charged immediately for the euthanasia and cremation fee. I just wanted them to have it available when they saw him but was told we need to make sure the funds are available. My poor sweet Bear passed away on his own way before his appointment. I let them know and they refunded the euthanasia and cremation fee. There was no way I would let them touch my sweet Bear again. I did reach out to management to see if some not all of the $906 could be refunded to care credit since my sweet Bear did not even last 3 days after his 1st appointment. I was told no. I will never take another pet to Care because all they “Care” about is money. No compassion no empathy. To have to watch your dog struggle to breathe and die on his own. Yes it was my choice to have him treated but I did that based on the recommendation of the Veterinarian that I trusted to treat my dog properly and not just take money from me.

If I could rate this ( 0 stars) I would. I was told on the phone it would be $86.00 bucks and when it was done it was $310.00. the doctor that look at my dogs teeth was like they are good but he only looked at her bottom and she is 12 years old a missing one tooth. They couldn't but nothing on her sore at all on her elbow just gave us med to take her home with. They he found one fee and he was like will that is reason for all of it and I was like really. Don't ever take none of your dogs there at all.

We had to take our dog Skya in for emergency surgery and this is not our actual vet but we drove an hour there anyway. And when I tell you the Dr and staff are AMAZING it is because I can not come up with a better word. They got us in same day and she got her surgery same day ( she ate string from the garden). They were very informative and so nice to us and Skya. I can not thank them enough for their clear communication around the clock and uplifting attitudes.This is the best vets office we have ever gone to and the staff I can not thank enough. I wish I could give you more stars than 5.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
