We just experienced the worst service ever from Best Buy Muncie. We bought a new refrigerator from them and they sent two guys to deliver and install it. It was clear from the beginning these guys didn't want to work. We ended up telling them to just take it back if they didn't want to do their job!! We will never again do business with this place. We've had it!!

Went Saturday April 20 to purchase a new desktop. Had done homework and settled on a Dell Inspiron, son (our IT guy) said it was a good deal. Cody was the salesperson, extremely knowledgeable, non-condescending, exceptionally helpful. Will look him up again if need be, explained everything in language I understood (I am computer illiterate). Has complete confidence making the purchase. Went back Saturday April 21 with questions, encountered Brandon who 110% put me at ease. Brandon said transfer was almost complete, set up appt. for 3:20 today. Went back at appointed time. Encountered Sean. Sean set everything up, exceptionally knowledgeable, put me at ease, very professional. Went home, hooked up keyboard etc. plugged it in, and it was EXACTLY as Cody, Brandon, and Sean said the experience would be. GO TO BEST BUY, ask for these guys. Will direct all future business to BB, this was a GREAT experience.

Open box review.Seen a alienware $1400 off new price. Being open box- excellent.Best buy had it ready for pickup on 1 hour. Then is says it can be shipped for free after I drove the 1.25 hours.Packaged in best buy box. Perfect view of laptop.After opening. I made a video on this. I could not tell it was used. Tore it apart. No dust inside. Perfectly clean fans.A month later. Laptop works perfect. And this is how I will but my products. Open box. Save the money.

Best buy is my place for my electronics. I've bought a tablet for one grandkid. Screen protectors, tablet cases, phone chargers, air tags. My Daughter just bought me a JBL PARTYBOX ON-THE-GO. Love it. I will be a lifetime customer.

5 Stars for Michael, James, and the local employees of the store.1 Star for Best Buy and their outsourced support systemThis is long but it's worth explaining for the employees.A TLDR would be Best Buy sets up its own employees for failure with likely no accountability for their own policies.I bought a Google Pixle 6 in 2022. I had Verizon then. Between then and now, I switched carriers. My phone broke. It was under warranty with geek squad total tool replacement, and for $80, I could get a replacement overnight.When I received this, it was carrier locked. I went to Best Buy first. The girl there said Geek Squad couldn't do anything (a lie, but she likely didn't know).I called my carrier, and it required Verizon to unlock the phone for them to do anything. I went to a Verizon store. Their policy stated that when a phone is purchased by a third party (Best Buy), they are responsible for it regarding its locked state.I went back to Best Buy a second time and met with James and Michael. They helped with the replacement process again.This time, it came unlocked, but the battery would charge about 1% per hour (not an exaggeration). I left it on charge overnight to get a sweet 15% on the battery.I spent another two hours watching Michael fight Total Replacement support about this. Two phones that don't work and it's been about a week without a working phone.Under Total Replacements written word, they wanted to send a third phone. If that phone didn't work, they would junk out the phone and give store credit. There is a case number to this.The third phone is carrier locked.I spent about 3 hours watching Michael fight support. They claim they couldn't junk out the phone without the store's manager permission, who is actively talking to them (this is also after the first guy hung up on the Best Buy employee. Best Buy support hanging up on a Best Buy store supervisor).Michael needed a code from them. They would claim to not be able to process this without the store manager's permission AND wait until the 3 phones I've sent back are returned.The original contract of those phones of not being returned is me being charged $700, but they're adding an extra contingey to this outside of the contract and holding me hostage.Michael followed the policy, had a written statement from Total Replacement of what they would do, and they would not do what they said they would. I waited two weeks for Best Buy's warranty to kick in.At this point, Best Buy deserves to eat the loss. They've set up an outsourced, cheap support system to work against not just customers (standard corporate practice) but against their own employees.To the boss. I never saw you when you made decisions against me. I know you're just middle management and your boss is also middle management in some wacky MLM of middle management that most business's have and are designed to shield higher management from hardship while given little power to perform the job you want. It sucks, but you have to make a living.Punch up instead of down if this actually matters. You have good employees. If Best Buy gave a crap about their policy and systems, they would review the situation and turn to the problem that is the replacment support. Have your boss's boss sit on the phone for hours with them to see if they can accomplish what is designed to not be accomplished. If nothing changes, then your employer is the problem, which isn't a surprise.The employees of the store know what is ethically correct and good business practice.

It would be nice if there was an option to speak WITH SOMEONE ACTUALLY IN THE STORE!!!!! EVERYTIME you call don't matter what department you get sent to someone else that just wants to "set up an appointment" because they got no clue about my product!!!

I bought a laptop from this store, it was shipped to my house and from day one it hasn’t worked. I’ve done everything I could to fix the issue but it still has problems. I went into the store to get it exchanged and the kid at the customer service desk told me they’re out of stock so I either have to take store credit or hope they get in stock before my 60 day return policy is up. I called customer service and they’re telling me I have to pay $600 for a new one when the one they sold me in the first place is broken. The kid at the desk was a jerk about the whole thing and was the least helpful person I have ever talked to. Come to find out, the HP spectre laptop that they hyped up so much has a ton of issues and apparently is a “mistake” to buy. I have now wasted my time, money, and gas dealing with this business as a whole.

Love Best Buy. Chad in electronics sold me an LG 55" TV. Very knowledgeable. I had scheduled delivery but needed to change the day. Rather than get lost in rescheduling over phone I drove over and was helped by Crystal and Allon in making the change. Everything was taken care of in just a few minutes.

Employees were on hand and asked a couple times if help was needed. I was just looking around at TVs and advised them of that. They didn't hover over me but allowed me the freedom and time needed to browse.I didn't have any sales person hanging around like a used car salesman waiting to pounce. I was able to take my time and look at the specs for the TVs to see which ones hit the check marks for what I was looking for. Once I had made my choice it was easy to get a sales person to assist me.The sales person got a flat cart, helped load it onto the cart, took it to the front register and rang me up without waiting in the line. I pulled my vehicle up and the sales person was going to get someone to help load it into my vehicle.After pulling up to the front door, the sales person brought the TV out on the flat cart and said he couldn't find anyone so he brought it out and helped load into my vehicle.That was the type of customer service that most places fail to have these days. No pressure to buy but checking to see if help was needed. Once ready, helpful from loading, ringing up, then loading in vehicle.Very positive experience.

PSABestBuy will not notify you if they "suspect" a fraudulent charge on your best buy credit card. "Due to it being a high dollar amount they put your order on a verification hold" hmm... what does that mean exactly? Apparently if suspected fraud is detected on your card then their internal department will determine if it's fraud. They won't call the card holder to verify with said person if they knew the transaction was made. No, they will determine that themselves. So, that being said, what happens if someone does indeed steal your card and make a high dollar purchase and that internal department decides that it's not fraud and let's that transaction get cleared?? Those were my questions. Also they do NOT give any notification that this is happening or that your order will not be ready to be picked up that day. All I got was a "sorry for the inconvenience" and "I'll leave a note for the manager tomorrow"

Buyer Beware , I purchased a Roomba 11 months ago for 854.93 and was offered an over priced Best buy warranty but i declined because it had a 12 month manufacturer warranty . Got the roomba home and it had 4 hours of run time on it already , so it must have been a return . We did not pay for a used unit but it seemed to work properly until now . went to best buy to try and exchange or get it repaired and since I did not make an appointment , they did not want to talk to me . Finally after they decided to talk to me about it and since I did not buy the Best Buy warranty they would not help at all . Every store that I have purchased something has always honored the manufacturer warranty by exchange or refund . Not Best Buy . I have been shopping at this Best Buy for 25 years but will not again . I was going to buy a new laptop for our business and a new washer and dryer for my daughter from them today . Went to Staples and Lowes instead . I will also close my account with them . Store is run down and when you can find someone they are not very helpfull .

I know it was Black Friday but it shouldn't have taken them 5 hours to tell me that my pickup order was ready and then I get there and I can't find it because it was put in the wrong place. Needless to say I will never be returning here

People in store are great and the only reason it's not getting 1 star. Called before I came in to make sure I could recycle my old TV and surround sound. Even though i called the local store number, I was routed to a call center. Was told in broken English to just bring it in to the store. Drive 20 miles to the store and arrive with my 48" TV and am told they don't take TV's over 42". They took mine anyway because of the phone call but on the phone I was also not told that I'd have to pay $30 to recycle it. I wish I could just rate the organization because the employees deserve better than 2 stars. Not their fault.

Waited 15 minutes+ with employees passing I finally asked someone to get help. Waited 15-20 more minutes and Noone came! I found the manager explained what happened and instead of I'm sorry she said "who was it??" I dunno lady I couldn't get an employee close enough to read the name tag! So they lost a big sale since we had to go across the street to Lowes to buy the exact appliances we picked out at Best Buy! They lost a huge sale since they wasn't interested in helping us!

To expensive on a lot of their products.Just frhem to scan an electronic device for problems and run a repair program they charg like over 30 something dollars. You're only plugging a phone in and running a program. Nothing hard about that, it's not like you programmed the program or anything like that your just ripping people off and call limited a great deal.
