I had to get a large order, outside in the rain, and they still helped me without complaining. They wrapped the boxes and loaded it on my trailer. Very courteous people. They went above and beyond great service! The associates at the Monticello Rural King are very personable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend visiting this location when you are in Monticello. I've also purchased ducks and chickens from them, the tubs are clean, and birds are in very good health.

In my experience shopping at Monticello Ruralking is its a Great place to shop, very friendly, kind and polite employees, always willing to help when you need it. They pretty much have everything you would need or want. They make you feel like a friend and not a customer. Definitely recommend .👍

Went there to replace a cat battery, girl at the front counter said, "What do you want?" and rolled her eyes. She then wasn't looking up the battery number right and another dude did it in 5 seconds while she failed for 5 minutes. Also saw a chick die in front of me and multiple dead chicks were left there. Found out from a worker they over order the chicks and hundreds die. Their bunnies also died from lack of care. Chicks don't usually have food or water. The staff are rude, and I'm seriously debating reporting them to PETA or something.

Great selection, courteous and helpful staff, a wonderful place to shop for work clothes. Although their selection of sunglasses leaves something to be desired. They are even nice enough, as a business, to let people bring their dogs while they're shopping.

This place has all the things you need in life for farm, ranch, and hunting/fishing. We love this store just to browse around inside and even see a dog or two that a customer is allowed to bring along. They even offer free popcorn and coffee while you shop! The only concern is a need to wash any clothes you buy since they will take on the store aroma of a tool shop.

Bought a tractor from the Monticello store 2 years ago. The front end had an issue and it was down for 3 months after they took it apart. Finally we got the parts and they put it back together but first told us it was covered under warranty and now all of a sudden it’s not and we owe $900. Doesn’t make sense how you can start work on a tractor and tell the customer it’s covered under warranty and after the work is done it’s not. Very unprofessional

Manager lady today was way rude! I am always offered a 10 percent discount since an incident that occurred as I buy a PALLET of feed 40 bags at a time religiously from Rural King and travel an hour to do so! Due to moldy feed and aflatoxins My bags were replaced and a discount was offered due to the livestock losses on my pallets since the feed I had gotten killed my kids goats. She refused and told me a was lying! Well the receipt from the "incident" is posted to the review Also 4 items were marked down and they charged full price over 40.00!! I will take my business to another area now. Our farm will never again support this store. I let it go there first time with the moldy feed. I was laughed at and talked down to. There were horrible dirty conditions today as well. I will NOT be laughed at for asking for a discount I was offered due to the feed killing my animals!!!!!!!

Great store good sales all the time on firearms and safes. I just wish it was a little closer to where I live. They also carry a very wide range of products. Dog, cat, deer and turkey food. They carry some auto and tractor parts such as oils and lubricant. They also carry an assortment of hand and power tools. They also carry lawn mowers and other lawn equipment all the way up to full blown tractors with front end loaders. They also carry single and dual axle travel trailers. If your in the neighborhood stop by and give the store a look.

I love rural king stores I always vist every store I see in the area I go to for work. I travel alot so I vist multiple locations and I have noticed that it seems alot of places have tools that are not marked with prices. I know myself I have not brought alot of stuff because of it not being priced and no one around to get me a price. I also love the gun shop you have lots of ammo in stock and prices are getting better. Just need more staff in that section I have been wanting a ak12 for a while I have stood in line to buy one at atleast 4 of your stores but the workers don't seem to care if they sell any guns so I'll probably order one online instead. I gas greeted at the front by a cute blonde girl she was very friendly and helpful.

This is our hometown rual king every time we go in any more the people behind the register seem more interested in talking with each other than actually checking our stuff out , I don’t except a conversation or anything but a little focus on doing your job and not making mistakes while ringing things up would be helpful witch would keep the lines moving a little faster seems to be always long lines waiting to check out.

Every time we are in Monticello we always stop at rural king. It is a top favorite store. We recently ordered chickens and Beth was very informative and happy to help. Everyone that works there seems to know alot about what they sell and that is always a plus. They have a great selection of tools and camping stuff. You can't just go to Monticello and not stop at rural king.

Not a bad store. Just very little selection it seems like. They have a lot of different types of items but not a lot of 1 kind of item. When it comes to lawn care items they have a decent selection of some things but not a lot of others like oil. It is really hard to find 10w30 oil here and the ones they do have are stupid expensive. I do love being able to take my dog in here. She is always the center of attention and gets lots of Lovings and treats everytime we go. They do also have pretty good customer service. All the years I have been going here, I have only ran into a couple of problems with employees, and it was never anything big. Just a couple times that I took the employees as being rude. You deal with that everywhere unfortunately. All in all though they are a good store.

It's alright. Some things are priced fantastic and other things are way too expensive. Depends what you're going for! Chicks and ducklings are always cute when they have them in! They have a huge variety of items; I am like a kid in a candy store every time I walk in this place! They have what you need for gardening, automotive, camping, pets, you name it and they sell some nice clothes too! And they have free coffee and popcorn!!

Staff is nice! I just really like going cause there is so much to look at . From clothing to shoe ware, auto accessories, every tool you can think of from screw driver s wrenches hammers to rakes shovels axes andsledge hammers. There's fishing gear and hunting gear from bows and guns for hunting or sport. Electrical tools bot AC and DC. Brand name things and off brand. They got chickens you can buy to raise and rabbits. As well as anything you need to take care of whatever animals you may be raising on a farm or as a pet

Rural king is rural king! I love the different sodas and food stuffs they carry! They have a clothing section mostly for guys but I found a few nice tops for gals. Dog food section is giant! They have food for 🐴, 🐰, 🙀, 🐔, 🦆,. Just go there! Lol. If they don't have it, you don't need it!
