We have been using Country Critters for about 10 years. They helped us through the loss of one dog and the level of compassion we received was amazing. They were so thoughtful and patient as we said goodbye to Saydee RoseFast forward several years and we adopted a GSD. I didn't hesitate and called Country Critters to get Ranger Joe in. They scheduled him right away. When he injured himself they squeezed him in on a Saturday.

We love our vet! They have taken such good care of our critters for years! They are a bit expensive, but worth it! We used to take them to a cheaper vet, but they were not well taken care of and actually came home sick several times from grooming and annual checkups.

Since 2016 we have used CC. 1/31/24 my dog Myles came up with knot under his eye. It looked bad. Now, since 2016 we have spent close to, or more than, $5000 with these folks. On 2/2/24 I call to ask if they can see him. They say 2/12/24 is the soonest they can see him. What good does that do Myles? I have moved on . You can't squeeze him in for 10 minutes. Done!!! Your dog might have something serious, but you have to wait 10 days.

They never have time for your pet, when you need them. If your gets sick they will try to get you next week or next month. They are only good for giving shots and taking your money.

I have taken my senior mom's cat to this Vet clinic a handful of times in 2023. I am reasonably veterinary medicine savy, having worked on the research side of animal health. It hasn't been a positive experience with Country Critters. Very poor communication with clients, and the front office staff appears to not know one class of drugs from another. Plus today the vet tech told me that steroids "are a type of antibiotic." (I have experienced this particular tech as abrasive and pushy before). News flash, that's a false statement as they are two totally different classes of drugs. Further, I haven't even metany of the veterinarians; it's not ok to charge a vet exam fee and not even speak with the client. This clinic takes the animal away and does everything out of sight of the client, in my experience. Client is completely excluded. Not ok in the post covid era.Today they gave the cat the *wrong* shot (steroids instead of antibiotics), when the appointment was booked for an antibiotic shot and I clearly stated I was bringing the cat in for an antibiotic shot when I checked in. (Office staff apparently did not know the difference between steroids and antibiotics). The cat was taken away, to get weighed to see how much to give him, or so I was told. Then he was brought back to me, shot given, with *no* communication from the tech at all. No verification from clinical staff on what was being done. This mistake never would have happened if there had been communication with the vet tech and I had been consulted. I was not invited to go into a room with the cat (I had been told he was only being weighed). It's very important for the veterinary professional to verify with the client what is being done, and this didn't happen. On checkout, I asked if they had given the cat an antibiotic shot, as the charge didn't seem correct, and I was quite certain that the name of the drug on the receipt was for a steroid. Front office staff told me yes, the cat had been given an antibiotic shot. A quick Google search verified that a steroid injection had been given. The only reason this mistake was caught was because I have the education and background to realize that the cat hadn't been given an antibiotic shot. Most clients aren't going to have the knowledge to be sure their pet is given the correct medication. To be fair, I wasn't charged for the steroid shot that shouldn't have been given. But the mistake absolutely never should have occurred, and wouldn't have occurred if the tech had actually spoken to me about what he was planning on doing. The office staff member obviously didn't know the difference between an antibiotic and a steroid, which makes it all the more critical for the veterinary professional to check in with the client about what medication is being given to make sure it is the correct medicine and the client consents. If I return to this clinic (my mom's choice ultimately) I will definitely insist on being with the animal for all exams, and speaking with the tech before anything is done. No way I am letting them take the cat away without a 100% clear understanding of what they intend to do. And I would absolutely prefer it if the cat is treated in the room with me.This evening I got a call from the vet tech who treated the cat explaining why the vet couldn't call me tonight. He told me steroids were a type of antibiotic, which is false. He also told me that the appointment notes said that it was for a depo shot. The appointment was made for an antibiotic shot and the office staff was told the cat was checking in for an antibiotic shot. If the staff doesn't know the difference between the two that's a training problem. It shouldn't be a Client problem.

The curbside service works! I brought my puppy in for a check-up and was continually greeted with smiles, and the staff was absolutely awesome! The staff is knowledgeable, and the doctor who called me from the clinic (informing me of my pup's health) was respectful and kind. I cannot thank Country Critters Veterinary enough for the service today!

Was referred here and am very satisfied with the care my dogs and cat received. The previous vet I used for 10+ yrs retired and sold his practice, which led to a rise in prices. Country Critters have very affordable prices along with quality care. This will be my vet for yrs to come š

Took a 12 week old puppy here once they took the dog out of the room I could hear the dog screaming when he was drug back into me he coward under the chair the whole time and had pissed all over himself I was told all they were trying to do was put him on the scale and he nipped a vet techās hand and that it just broke the skin and that i was going to need a trainerIāve worked with animals my whole life and Iām sorry but if you canāt handle getting nipped by a 12 week old puppy and your reaction is to beat the living hell out of it you probably need to find a new profession

We have been going to Dr. Amy for 7+ yrs. She and her staff always handle our fur babies with great care and skill. They are honest and straightforward, make accurate diagnoses and fully present treatment options without applying pressure or judgment. Front office staff is friendly and helpful. Their rates are extremely reasonable.

Iām always intimated by Vets because I donāt know the lingo/terms or common issues so whenever I used to go I had no idea what theyāre talking about. Country Critters takes the time to explain everything and answer any and all questions. They even follow up when you had to take your pet to emergency vet for a procedure after hours. All around excellent experience.

I have been going to country critter veterinary clinic for several years. Many dogs have been treated at this clinic. Dr Amy and her staff are always friendly and efficient. Absolutely the best care imaginable for our animals and even sometimes the owner, lol. Also, I have always felt that the service and Care received far outweighed the expense. Very economical. Even if you're an hour or hour and a half out, still worth the drive...

Extremely friendly and helpful staff that always go above and beyond to take care of my cat. Usually quick to get us an appointment, and the prices are perfectly within my budget to keep my cat healthy and always taken care of. Reliable, and even though I am moving soon I am happy to go out of my way to keep this as my vet's office.

This vet almost killed my dog. Insisted he needed clindamycin before his teeth cleaning. The vet tech I seen was absolutely amazing! No issues with her at all! One of the best vet techs I have ever met! The vet is my issue and put my dog on a medication that caused an elevated liver, and pancreatitis. My boy was so miserable that I stopped the meds! I called them and said this medication is making my healthy dog, who is just going in for a teeth cleaning and neuter so sick that he has uncontrollable diarrhea, a high fever and looks dangerous to me. I called about my concerns, and they said to just cut the meds in half. Man, I did that too and that is when I had to take him to the VCA to fix him. Never got fixed nor his teeth cleaned until recently because now, he gets pancreatitis so easily. That is one of the most painful things a human can endure. If you love your pet like I do mine? Go somewhere else. These people donāt even call to check up on my dog they did wrong. Hence my review

Absolutely wonderful place! My dog got into a fight with a much bigger dog and within an hour they had him in surgery. I had never taken him there before and they were still so accommodating once they had his shot records. The price of his surgery was much lower than I expected as well. The staff is extremely nice, caring of their patients, and helpful when it comes to any questions you have. I highly recommend Country Critters!

Dr. Amy does such great job with our dogs. She knows them by name and very compassionate when she knows they are not feeling good. All the staff equally care and love our pets like they are their own pets. Thank you CCV

I can't say enough about the staff here..my dog was not a patient there but in his last hrs these kind hearted people helped to relieve his pain.. 15 yrs 3 months with this wonderful dog and I couldn't get anyone not even my own vet of several yrs to help me. My daughter called these wonderful people and they did everything to help us out. And today almost 1 month after I get a beautiful card in the mail hand signed by the staff with beautiful kind words..really made my day. Truly beautiful people.

Brought both my puppy and my older dog here for the first time. Needed shots and and annual check-up. The staff was so friendly and helpful! I was a little protective since I wasn't allowed to enter with my pets, but I understand this is due to COVID. Hopefully, soon I'll be able to go in with them.

This veterinary office denied my dogs Interceptor prescription twice on the basis of needing to see my dogs for an exam - both dogs they saw about five months ago (for the first time, and the staff continuously mixed up the dogs - repeatedly had to correct them. Dogs are different colors and have significant age difference. They didnāt even examine/vaccinate in front of me so I can only hope they did actually do what they said they did). Anyway, I called for an explanation of denial - they stated that it is the law for dogs to tested annually for heart worms. I asked for them to send me a link to this law, and they only provided a link to a website that mentioned nothing about it being a LAW. They were trying to make me spend $90 on unnecessary tests to get a prescription for heart worm preventative that my dogs have been on for years without interruption. Our previous vet, who just retired, never required heart worm testing unless preventative care was interrupted. I called several other vets in the county who all stated that it was NOT required by LAW to have the dogs annually tested for heart worms and that if you decline the test, most veterinary offices just have you sign a waiver and still allow you to purchase heart worm preventative. Needless to say, I have requested (and received) all of my dogs veterinary records and I will not be bringing them back to this office for care due to a lack of confidence in the staff and the over apparent desire to perform unnecessary services for money.

We love the entire staff at Country Critters! I couldn't imagine taking my fur babies elsewhere. Everyone makes you feel so welcome here, and I always feel comfortable putting my pets' health and lives in their hands! I recommend them every chance I get! We have been going there regularly for over five years.

Although they weren't able to assist me ...This was the one and only place of many I called the day my dog was ran over by a truck . They were kind and gave me name number and address of a pet hospital. Wish I remembered the name of the lady that called back... She was so sympathetic and informative .Thank you...my dog is doing well ā¤ļøā

They really cared about my 14 year old Dobie! They were very caring and compassionate when we had to put him down! They sent us a sympathy card in the mail too! Their fees are a bit high but compared to the other Veterinarians in the area they are reasonable. I would recommend Country Critters to my friends and family!

Staff was very friendly. I had no wait time. Was in and out pretty fast, however you could also tell they themselves love animals as they took special care with loving hands and gestures to my pets. Thanks to all the staff for taking care of my kids. Much appreciated

I grew up taking my dogs here and the doctors and staff are friendly, caring and very trustworthy. Even after I moved almost an hour away I still take my animals there. I refuse to go anywhere else. My late dog had diabetes and the staff at country critters helped me learn how to take care of her and provided ways for me to do so that didn't financially hurt my family. They gave me more time with my baby and I will always be grateful for everything they have done for my human family and my fur family. i can confidently say there is no better vet.

I seriously love everyone here! They can be a tad pricy on things, but have always worked with me if I needed help. Randal especially is super sweet & helpful. Everyone takes care of my pup so well & she can be a handful. They are the best around!
