This was heartbreaking, I almost started crying just looking at the conditions these animals are in, firstly. The dogs, I walked in and it reeked of feces and urine, the first dogs I see are three GERMAN SHEPHERD puppies in a small confined space covered in feces. Absolutely disgusting, I felt horrible seeing them covered in their own filth. Secondly, the guinea pigs. I personally own a few of my own in a 2x7 c&c cage and seeing these left me speechless they’re in a small tiny plastic box with 5+ guinea pigs in each one and one of them looked like they were passing away as I stood there. This place left me speechless and I refuse to buy or support anything to do with them.

My situation called for a dog that would be garunteed small, so I had to go here. (All of the dogs in the surrounding shelters at the time were big dogs, apartment will not allow.) Ever since I got my dog my mental health has improved and I'm exercising and sleeping properly.

Nice workers and cute puppies. You can hold the small critters and go into a room with a puppy for a few minutes. They even have a free roam cage for puppies to run around and get pets without needing to go to a room.

This store is heartbreaking. First, their puppies are in small cages with grates, no bedding- nothing. FOUR golden retriever puppies in a 20”x 20” space But let’s talk about these Siamese kittens. There were 5 in this skinny, small cage. Water dispenser full of mold/green grossness. No bedding-they were laying in the cat box. ONE toy. When I asked the young, clueless employee (who was more interested in their coffee drink and texting) why they don’t have any toys she responded with “well there’s one in there, a ball over there I was just going to put in there and someone broke the string toy.” You’re a pet store… you couldn’t grab one off the shelf? At $1,200 a piece, I would hope they would be properly cared for. Highway robbery, POOR living conditions for all the pets, and clueless employees.

Purchased my 5 year old dog from him, I’m confused by these assumptions rather than actual reviews, my dog came with his first vet check from a reputable vet in town, came chipped, and they are not bred from puppy mills they come from a selection of different small breeders. We were given all of the info for my dogs breeder at the time of purchase.

The dogs were laying in their own feces and none of the other animals had clean cages. Not a single animal had a cage that was the minimum size for one animal, and most cages had 6-10 animals in each. The cages in the middle had no top, so people could reach in and touch the bunnies hamsters ect. No sign saying not to. Even the parakeet cage has no top. Whole shop smelled of animal urine and feces. A horrible disgusting shop only used to sell mass sell animals.

Absolutely rude workers I went in today and held a puppy that was filthy skinny and has a large lump on his neck which they did not care about. Their animals were out together so many of them that the gunny pigs fight each other a mouse has no hair or skin on it's back and most of the animals look sick. The last time I was in their one of the puppy's had bit on other puppy and they let it get infected and it was on hold/sick dayFor WEEKS. The dogs are over priced AF. A full blooded German shepherd with papers is about $300-$450 yet their selling them for $1300????!!! Not fixed or wormed or anything. I hope they get shut down. 😡

This is the first store that I’ve seen where you can touch the bunnies, mice, birds and Guinea pigs (I think I got all the animals) and that seems like a bad idea???? Like being touched by rough hands all day seems like a terrible thing for these little beings. And the dogs god how heartbreaking they are in such tiny cages one on top of each other! For $1200 a puppy you could do so much more to be more humane.

Worst pet store ever. Dried feces on the puppies, smelled like feces too. All the puppies were sleeping probably sick due to the conditions. Clear abuse of animals!!

Was at pat's pet this past Tuesday. Cages full of puppies, they were dirty. I could smell the dogs through the glass. To many pups in the small cages. Very sad.

Maybe it's just me but some of the animals are found sitting in their own feces and most of the time it's diarrhea.Do not purchase the pig ears if you don't want to pick up dog vomit overnight. Called them about it and they said it can upset their stomachs if they eat it too fast but I don't think that they should be uncovered with no expiration date??? Can they at least let their supplier know to have them packaged instead of uncovered???...oh well last time I buy treats from here.

They take any two dogs and mix the breeds and then sell them for a 1,000. Dollars Save your money go to the pound and get you a mutt that's what you're buying after all

Buy from a reputable breeder not an indiscriminate pet shop that knows nothing about dogs and pets but charges usually more!!!

Went for a bunny and got the cutest one but the girl that helped me had no clue about rabbits. She explained that she was new so I don't blame her, I blame whoever trained her.

Rather cluttered, dirty, and dank. Tired looking store as if they really haven't done anything much since the store opened around 1980. Staff was not friendly nor engaged with any customers.

Dogs only get 4x4 feet of room. No dog can live in that small of a terrain. They don’t even get fresh air like they would in a kennel. They are stuck in a glass window with no food, water, bed anything. They need better living.

Closes my store 10 minutes early just to get my sons crickets for his geckos make it all the way down to pats pets with seven minutes to spare. The doors were shut With people still in the store I asked the lady if I could just get crickets and she told me we’re closed and it wasn’t even eight I told her I close my store early to come and get them, and she smiled and shrugged her shoulders. With all the bad reviews that this place gets you would think they would want to strive for better customer service skills just lost a customer.

Please do not support this business. They sell puppies from puppy mills and hold them in tiny spaces with a grate at the bottom. The only time I have seen them out has been when customers request to see them, then they're placed back in the little cages. Please adopt and don't shop. If that doesn't convince you, the outrageous prices will. Over $1000 for one puppy. Please support your local shelters instead.

Horrible place to get an animal. All animals are cramped in small spaces & touched by people all day. Puppies behind glass and have zero bedding, they have grates underneath them so that their pee & poop just drop through the grates. The whole place stinks. Animals are skinny. I took my daughter in to potentially get a puppy & was horrified by the living conditions of these animals. Please do something to change this.

The manager here is a very good person, he knows a lot about the animals they sell and seems to really care for them, if you see one you like though I would highly suggest not hesitating as they do go very quick. The average time for one in the store is less than 2 weeks. They use 4-5 local breeders who are legitimate breeders with paperwork and such to back up their bloodlines. All in all it's a wonderful place if you enjoy animals.

absolutely terrible... they need shut down. the way they treat the animals, the neglect, the puppy milling, the very very sick animals that they want PROFIT off of. it's ridiculous, they need shut down and more people need to stand up for what's right. these poor babies don't deserve this... not at all. we need to get them SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.

Feel so sorry for the puppies I thought these people just got in trouble for buying their puppies from a puppy mill

Sadly I can’t give less than one star. Animals are kept in tiny confined spaces with no bedding and are returned at night to a cramped space in a back room. They purchase from puppy mills and mark up the price 4x what it should be.

Didn't go buy a puppy more or less looking to see what kind they have. walk in with my boyfriend I see each puppy through the glass look so sad and crammed up doesn't look too comfortable for them. Some look miserable why some have their tails wagging a mile a minute . I really hope people who work here actually take each puppy out to play for at least a few minutes if they don't get a home. The workers that were there two wemon we're working there today didn't seem too enthusiastic about being there and when my boyfriend asked her a question she seemed not so interested in answering it to be helpful wish I knew the girls name. If you're going to work with animals at least try to be semi interested into helping people out with information. Better to adopt then shop as sad as it is to walk in a place like that and want to take every puppy you see home you just can't too high priced!

Horrible animal practice these puppies are bred just to be sold, crammed into little cages with other puppies all day and night where people can just come and look through glass at them, there’s been many public posts about these animals dying from diseases shortly after purchasing, and the staff and management does not care. It makes me want to cry just walking past this place in the mall. I have no idea how this place does not get shut down!

I adopted a golden doodle in 2019 from pats pets. Fast forward to fall 2022, 3 years later, my baby Rusty got diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma. A deadly cancer. My dog was only 3 years old. (a cancer that mostly senior dogs get) I wish they genetically tested their animals and had ethical breeding. No one deserves to lose their baby. Please shop ethically. Pet stores shouldn’t be legal.

Way overpriced. Most of the animals are housed in tiny cages with no bedding or toys. Wife and I were interested in this poor little Siamese kitten they had. It was alone, in a box, on the wall. It had no bedding, what looked like one broken toy, yellowish water, and what appeared to be adult cat food. When my wife asked how much it was, they told us $2000.00. We about choked. I've seen purebreds for a fraction of that cost. The puppies they had, weren't in much better settings. I contemplated reporting them to the ASPCA. That kitten was utterly terrified.

I purchased a Golden Retriever in January of 2022. I was told after 3 months I was then able to put in my request for his papers. I did in April, exactly 3 months after purchasing him. I still have not received the papers for my dog. He now has turned a year old. I called November 25th, 2022 and asked again after multiple calls over the past months asking when I could pickup his papers. They then told me 3-4 days. I called again yesterday December 2nd, 2022 to make sure they were ready. I now am being told another 2 months. After letting them know exactly a week ago they said I would be able to pickup in 3-4 days, they proceeded to tell me nobody said that. I am being strung along after paying $2,948 for my dog who I was told came with papers. DO NOT purchase a puppy from them!
