This is a nice store! Decent staff, good prices, great selection of produce, meats, and all other general grocery items. Convenient location, although I will say it is a bit 'ugly' on the outside, especially the parking lot. Overall though its a great store.

Guy in the deli was definitely not happy to see me walk in right before 8. My meal that took one minute to put together seemed like a huge inconvenience. Felt very welcomed 😊

Don't know why, but for some reason, the address given was wrong. This store is in South Bend. Mishawaka is about 1 mile to the east, seperated from South Bend by a road known as both Hickory, and Logan. There is no Ironwood in Mishawaka.This store is in South Bend, IN.

The only soup in deli worth buying is the chili . the squash and lobster bisque is absolutely terrible!

FINALLY… a deli that offers a coleslaw flavor other than mayonnaise! It’s clean & fully stocked. Staff cares about their customers. This will be my new go to while I’m here in town.

This is for the Deli department. 3 separate times now. One occasion she asks me who's next, I wasn't sure so I told the young man he could go first and she screams, Well, I'm done here now, so what do you want? The young man and I just exchanged looks like what?! This woman goes off on me everytime, because I want to pick out the Chicken Breast that I want. She screams I can't see the chicken from here! Then she will take her hand and aggressively start grabbing at the All the Chicken Breasts If you make a Comment about the Chicken not looking very good, there was no coating on it. She snaps, then her Co-worker said to me afterwards, Well, when I make mine It's Perfect! Then Laugh! I told the Asst Mgr and he said Well, she just started her shift hmm... What does that matter?! That doesn't Excuse her Behavior! Spoke with another Lady yesterday who said that's totally Unacceptable, so we'll see if anything changes. I haven't snapped on her yet, but if I do the Entire store is gonna hear it! 💯

How I WISH I could leave a great review. I have been going here for 20 years for my groceries and loving it. Some of the folks here work very hard -- and I love them! BUT, in the recent past, the store has become a dump.Even the smell -- not so good. Electric signs / doors not working (big problem for Sr citizens). Expiration dates WAY past the dates stamped (deli, meat, canned food, you name it). Floor mats stained from last winter's storms, merchandise with no prices listed again, and again, and again. And, no one nearby to ask about the prices.And if you are lucky to find someone, they say "I don't know , I just started, Let me ask someone else"). OMG Really!!!?? This was said to me for unfrozen seafood -- I would never buy that here now based on this response. If you don't know the price / name of the UNFROZEN seafood ~~~ who will buy this????BUT THE WORST OF THE WORST: Try to find someone, ANYONE, available in the Deli. 1. Either they are so busy and so overworked that they have no time to even notice you -- or -- 2. They choose not to bc ?? Bc they see you as an interruption to their job ~~~MARTINS LISTEN UP! I've been suggesting this for many years now -- YOU NEED TO HAVE A "CALL" BUTTON OR SOMETHING SIMILAR so dedicated workers know someone needs help - and is waiting, and waiting, and waiting for someone to look up and notice them. Do you have any idea how awkward it is to have to yell, yes YELL, "Hello?" to anyone who might hear and respond. MARTINS, fix this.

This location might lack a bit on what others offer..but the staff is wonderful. I had certain staff members help keep the Caroline's cart close by. For my once a week visit before I had moved. The location I go to now is also nice but this location people would always say hello to my special needs daughter. The people there are kind. That goes a long way.

Yup we are never shopping at martins again i just had to argue with them yesterday because i went through self check out which is 15 items or less now!!!! i counted my cart and I was a lil over cus i had 4 cans of cat food and dog food so 20 items and long lines at registers with people who had full carts.Well i pay n go to leave and they confront me telling me i was not allowed to self check out cus i was over the items i said do you wanna count my cart cus im not very much over the guy said u had 20 items. Like ok they are policing self checkout now i said do u wanna refund me my items then and ill never shop here again after i just spent 100 bucks here they of course said sure theyd do that! How petty can you be with your customers which i am on a time limit everyday because i work afternoons and im getting harassed forchecking out my own items for freeee!!!!! Never again im so disappointed

I found most of what I needed to make shrimp and okra. I found the store had limited organic produce.There is an in-store Caribou Coffee. The coffee is also available in a drive through.The greeter at the front door was very helpful.

My goodness! The BEST customer service with the most amazing staff! The manager is literally so kind and goes out of his way to give you the best experience. Also, their produce is always top notch! If there is ever a problem, they are on it! Lastly, the janitorial service keeps the store looking niceee!

The prices are higher than elsewhere, but the service is good. Also, they have delicious deli dinner options when you don't feel like cooking. We love the always fresh salad bar, fried chicken, and wide variety of grilled or cold sandwiches.

Martin's on Ironwood is a great place to buy groceries and pick up dinner while you are on the way out! Caribou coffee too

Not a lot of variety and prices are high. Always a line at checkout. The deli is good though. Great panini and they know their Hoosier fries! I don't grocery shop at martins, but I'll stop in for a coffee or a quick bite to eat.

We had a large order of party trays and items for a retirement party. I worked with Tracey from the floral department and she was able to get everything ordered for me with no issues. She was extremely friendly and willing to answer all questions in a timely manner. I am extremely impressed with the customer service at this store.

Really nice hometown Martins. Big parking lot. Nice size store. Quality homegrown organic produce was always a great way to support small local businesses. Delicious home made pies. Martin's deli is always fresh Delicious recipes. They offer hot fried chicken. Hot soups and paninis.. all your grocery needs. Martin's has been there for me all my life here. Martin's participates in raising money to help with heat for impoverished during the winter. Martin's goes over and beyond always. Thank you Martin's supermarket family.

One of the smallest Martin's stores. Nice selection of groceries and good produce. Meat department is hit or miss. Staff is polite and helpful.Martin's has a habit of doing weird sales, so I have shopped here mainly for convenience items. I hate "$1.99 if you buy 5 qualifying items. Buy more or less than 5 and they are $3.49". If I have to do that much figuring to take advantage of a sale, I'll just shop elsewhere where things are easier to figure out.

I am soooooo grateful for the maintenance man at this Martin's! He helped me get in my car after calling around and not being able to get a locksmith because they were unfortunately closed I was almost hopeless thinking I was gonna have to leave my car there and my kids have school in the a.m and I also had to go to work. But the little lady manager (I believe) offered to see if maintenance would help. He did! Mind you it was blistering cold and starting to snow he stayed and helped get my car open for about 40 minutes he wouldn't accept cash and said he was just doing his job he went above and beyond for me again I am thankful I didn't have to pay 70 dollars for a locksmith. Also the guys in customer service were awesome and let me use the phone to make various phone calls for help (my phone was in the car) thank you guys!

I love this store and I shop here regularly. I call this the Moldy Martin's.The amount of mold on the produce here is disturbing. The organic section is the worst. I have seen moldy fruit on display, visible to the naked eye, as employees walk right by it. Not just employees, managers! Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, lemons - soft or moldy are your options, 9 times out of 10. One week I found the entire ginger basket had moldy ginger in it. The employees continued to exist around it. I left it there without saying a word, but I saw someone else come behind me and notice the same thing and say something. It was still like that for 3 whole days. An entire moldy basket of ginger! This was a few months ago and it hasn't gotten better. The green beans, even when they aren't organic, turn within a day or two and are sometimes brown when you buy them. I have found moldy mushrooms and have bought bad avocados that didn't feel that bad. I have bought oranges that were dried out from here! Did you know an orange can look fine and go bad? Well, this location taught me that. I should have taken pictures. I regret not having proof to back up my statement but I promise you, this is genuine, I am not being nasty bc I am a mean person. This is a very real problem for this store and I am shocked I am the only one to notice the decline in the produce quality.By all means, this grocery location is convenient and essential. However, go to the Martins on 23 if you want fresh produce. I refuse to spend so much time having to inspect this location's produce just so I am not ripping myself off. Oh and if you want to return anything, you have to save it, lol. Yeah just hold on to your moldy produce, throw it in the fridge to give everything else the Martin's Mold.

I absolutely love this Martins the pharmacy staff is excellent and they treat each person with respect and attention, that’s important to me some pharmacies don’t really answer questions about your prescriptions or they look at you like your inconveniencing them. I also can get the groceries while I’m there. It’s a win win for me!

Recently back in town in 2017 and the same genuine experience with the best doughnuts in town!! You just donut know how good you got it til you leave town. It's hard to find such a fine grocery store chain guys. Good job!

Have a hard time walking . So I try to use an electric cart. Well there were 3 not plugged in and all dead . But yet there were about 5-6 bag people just standing around talking in a group . Put someone in charge of making sure they are charged. Also 1st day of sale pop 4 for $ 11.00 out of stock on diet Dr. Pepper. Talked to Abby who said she works customer service she checked to make sure you were out of stock . She said she found 1 in back room . But she did not offer that one to me. What happened to your guarantee of being in stock on sale items .

Very disappointed going to this Martins. I’m usually a fan of these stores and frequently go to the stores off of South Bend Ave and Main in Mishawaka. Those two are much cleaner, look newer, and are well equipped. As soon as I walked into this one, it smelled like trash which was weird because I looked around and couldn’t see anything that looked too bad. They had some prepared foods out but not anything like the Martins off South Bend; maybe only had 6 options and nobody staffing it. Produce looked old and there wasn’t much selection for anything. The whole store felt like nothing had changed since the 80’s except for the Carribou coffee shop inside. Not only that, but you couldn’t trust a single price. Everything advertised their Martins card price but was actually 60-80% higher than advertised and easily twice the price of Walmart. When I got to the register, unlike at other Martins where they ask once if you have the card, I was pestered three separate times. You shouldn’t have to rely on shady tactics to push credit cards on people instead of just running a legitimate business like most of the other stores in the chain. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in this store and will not be returning.

I am very impressed with the customer service I received 4/11. While checking out the bagger asked if I found everything? I said bug spray, just wondering if you know what isle because I couldn't find it? As we discussed this, the bagger from the lane next to us...popped over and said "What kind of bugs?" I replied ants. He took off was back in less than a minute. I also want to say "You don't get this service or kindness at the other Martin's on Ironwood. Thank you.

On the extremely busy Saturday before mothers day, I came to this Martin's in a panic because I forgot to get a corsage for my daughter for the prom which was THAT NIGHT!! I had tried several other places with no success since they were swamped with mothers day orders. Jennifer H, the floral department manager felt my pain and was able to make me a beautiful corsage in 20 minutes time. She was friendly and professional I can't thank her enough for her kindness!!

DON'T DO YOUR SHOPPING EARLY ON MONDAYS. I was very disappointed with Martins this morning when I decided to do my grocery shopping at 6:30 this morning. First off they didn't have any cut or ground meat out. When I asked the butcher, he said "we don't have any cut yet, it's going to be a few minutes. " I thought, that's okay I'll get my meats before I leave. AND THEN. Three fourths the way through the store I noticed one of the sale items I was getting, the sale ended the day before. So I asked a lady if all the sale signs were from last week. She said "yes" and told me that I could get a flyer if I wanted to know this week's sales. I looked at my cart and 90% I got because it was on sale. I told her that I just assumed that when they said they opened at 6 that they would be ready. She told me "well we're trying. " I said. "It's going to take a long time to change all these signs. (I only saw three people on the store floor). She said "yep". I decided to just leave my cart there and go to Krogers. Most other visits to Martins has been a fairly good experience. But never again will I do my shopping at Martins early in the Morning, especially on a Monday.
