I have been using Magrane pet medical center since I was a young teen and they were still over off of grape rd.They treat our husky poo’s like Little Rock stars, the staff always greets them. Giving lots of pets, some even get on the floor and love them up. They are always paraded around the back so they get a chance to say hello to everyone. They treat your pets as their own and want nothing but the best for them. The staff really love what they do.I found a loose malamute walking in circles on breaman hyw one day coming home from work. Long story short Magrane helped me by scanning for a chip and giving me the last number associated. They helped me return a family pet to its owners. Magrane staff really does go out of their way to help.Although they aren’t the cheapest in the area, but my family has been using their service since the late 80’s.

We've been talking our cat here for years. I'm always impressed with their genuine caring, high quality care, and overall excellence.Love that they have cat only waiting area and exam rooms.Everyone has been great, but Dr N's dedication to finding the right diagnosis and her communication throughout the process was above and beyond. It's very rare to find a provider who has such a perfect mix of technical excellence, true compassion, outstanding communication, & willingness to find the right options for our family.

Dr. Brancaleon and the staff were wonderful. They treated my baby with kindness and love. My old dino had to cross the rainbow bridge and the care that went into his final moments was beyond expectation. Trusted Journey did an amazing job with the urn and footprint. You can see the print of my bearded dragon’s food so clearly. I even received a handwritten condolence card. It’s never easy losing a pet, so it’s important to have a vet on your side. Thank you.

I love Magrane! I have taken all three of my dogs here. One of the most memorable moments was when my first dog had passed away a couple years ago from a nasal tumor the kindness and compassion they showed me during that time, how they prepared me when the day was going to come, and ultimately leading up to it was phenomenal. This is the only place I will take my dogs in Mishawaka/South Bend. Dr Nieman is the best!

I wanted to give some love to Magrane and share my gratitude. I had to put my beloved cat Marley to rest After 16 years. My heart aches and it’s been so hard to let go. But a glimpse of light came yesterday when my doorbell rang. I got a beautiful flower delivery from Magrane Pet Medical Center. It warmed my heart and made me smile for a minute. The staff and all of the Doctors at Magrane are the most kind, compassionate, loving, special people I have ever met. When Marley was diagnosed with kidney disease, the Doctor and technicians loved on her and made every test less scary and tolerable for her. I want to give a big shout out to Dr. Polando, who helped us figure out what the problem was, and for being so empathetic to our needs and emotions. She lovingly gave me all of the options, and was with us every step of the way. She has been a Godsend. The day we put Marley to rest, I made a decision to do a home visit. She always had such extreme stress and anxiety going to the vet. So I chose to have the vet come to the house to make it as peaceful and calm as possible. Two angels showed up, Dr Brancaleon andVet Technician Heather to help Marley cross the rainbow bridge. Dr Brancaleon is the kindest, most soft-spoken, loving, compassionate, Veterinarian. Her bedside manner with Marley was filled with so much love. And the technician Heather was so thoughtful and helpful and kind. I truly feel like God sent them to me and Marley to make our last moments together during the most difficult time a blessed one. Although my heart is broken and it will continue to feel empty because Marley is gone, the entire staff and the Doctors at Magrane helped me in my time of grief. Thank you. And thank you for caring so much about Marley ♥️🐾🙏

My daughter and I took our family dog to Magranes for the first time since my own vet wasn’t in. Our girl was in poor shape nearing her end of life. X-rays determined she was critical. We made the decision to put her out of suffering. The doctor and staff were angels to us in our grieving. Can’t say enough good things in our difficult time and our little girl went so peacefully.

everyone here is so, so sweet and caring. i absolutely REFUSE to go elsewhere. i have a senior kitty, and they are so gentle and attentive to his needs. they're upfront about any costs, print out care plans with breakdown of pricing, and can even give a quote over the phone before you even make an appointment.

I have had 2 guinea pigs for almost 3 years now. One day I suddenly started to hear one of my guinea pigs, Mango, starting to cough and sneeze almost every day. I also noticed that Mango was breathing weird and wasn’t as energetic as he usually is. I started to panic thinking that he could possibly have a URI. After doing some research and watching videos, the number one thing everywhere said I should do was go to a vet. I’ve never needed to bring my pets to the vet before, and knew that it would be difficult since guinea pigs are small pocket pets and would need to be at an exotic vet. First thing I did was call and email all the vets around me, but every single vet that accepted pocket pets were booked up, and the closet time they could take me in would be in atleast 4 weeks. I decided I couldn’t risk waiting any longer and the next day I stopped by with Mango at multiple vets but they all turned us down which was understandable. After on the verge of giving up and going back home, we decided to stop at one more vet, Magrane. Right away we noticed that the staff at Magrane were so much kinder, understanding, and welcoming than all the other places. Unlike all the other vets, this one actually tried to help us and tried to squeeze us in to get our guinea pig checked on. Every single staff member was so nice and we felt so welcomed. The vet told us Mango did have signs of a URI and gave us antibiotics for him. I expected for the total to be expensive since it was an emergency but the total came out to be under $100. We left the vet relieved and pleased. It did take a while for Mango to get somewhat better.

I have been bringing my dogs and cats to the vets at Magrane Pet Medical Center for more than 18 years. In that time I brought 7 dogs and 4 cats to Magrane for care. Dr. Niemann has been our primary vet for most of that time and he is absolutely wonderful. He cared for our dog with degenerative myelopathy, another with Cushing's Disease, and yet another with heart disease and seizures—helping me give all of them the best quality of life possible. What I love most about Dr. Niemann is that he listens to my concerns, answers my questions, and encourages me to be an active participant in the care of my pets. We've also seen Dr. Candey at times and she is phenomenal as well.The techs, admins, and assistants at Magrane are also amazing. Everyone is knowledgable and if they don't have an immediate answer to my questions, they do some research and get back to me with the answer. Jan, Lisa, Kristen, Karrie and Brandi take great care of us anytime I call in for an appointment, medication refill, or to ask a question. Carrie is a capable and caring tech who has cared for several of my aging dogs. I've learned so much from her over the years. Whether we are visiting for a check up, vaccinations, a new issue, or an ongoing illness, the pet care specialists are helpful, gentle, and supportive. Christy, Leslie, and Alecia have taken great care of my dogs and cats every time we see them.I've recommended Magrane Pet Medical Center to many friends and family members over the years and everyone who brought their pets to Magrane has been happy with the care they received. As long as I have pets, I will bring them to Magrane.

I had a baby kitten named Hercules ( picture below) only 6 weeks old and I took him in 3 different times to Magrane and each time I took him in they said he was fine a we took him home. Between the 2nd and 3rd visit we had taken him to pet refuge because he wasn’t getting better and the lady that ran it offered to help. She told us that there was a good chance he was anemic, he might even have leukemia. So during the 3rd visit we asked the vet to check and he said he was fine, he looked healthy except for an eye infection(which I fully believe was actually an upper respiratory infection). 3 days later I had to take my kitten an hour away because he couldn’t breath to the emergency hospital in westville and they tell us he is so severely anemic that he would need two blood transfusions and his chances were very low. So we had to make the tough decision to put down our cat because he was in a lot of pain. I think if the vets at Magrane had taken out concerns seriously and had caught his anemia earlier and gave him the right medication for an upper respiratory infection he probably would have made it but unfortunately now our hearts our broken because we had to put him down. I am really disappointed in the lack of knowledge the two vets I saw showed and I recommend taking your animals anywhere else is possible.

I was referred by best friend and I’m so very thankful I changed over to this vet clinic!! The doc was amazing the staff were amazing!! This is the way vet offices are supposed to be! They don’t just say how much they care,from the moment they greet you and walk in a room there actions are like this is there animal! And the price was reasonable! Thank you all at this office we all know how our animals are our family and worry about these things!

I went into Magrane Pet Medical Center today to have my kitten established with their clinic and was blown away by the service I received. The staff there was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in and Dr. Brancaleon was not only very nurturing to her, but also made me feel comfortable and confident about how to properly take care of my kitten. I'm glad she took time out of her day to educate me as I have never owned a cat before and was very nervous I was not doing right by my kitten. Thank you again to the staff and Dr. Brancaleon for the amazing service and I would highly recommend their office to anyone.

I couldnt have asked for a better facility to take care of my 6 month old great dane who had an unfortunate attack at the park requiring her to get sutures under her chin. The front desk staff accommodated tremendously and Dr. Seng and her assistants are always so caring! They were wonderful working Bravo into their schedule and taking care of her right away! Thank you for being so wonderful!

My cat had his first wellness appointment here, and the staff were all so kind and patient! My cat struggles with anxiety and is very nervous in new places - the vet and tech both took their time trying to ease his nerves and gain his trust before beginning his exam. Amazing. This is my little Bartholomew. Dr. Spake and the rest of the Magrane staff were absolutely amazing. They took such great care of my fur baby and they are more affordable than most! The knowledgeable and incredibly friendly staff provided the best care and even made him feel comfortable in the process. Bart is very shy around new people. But he was very affectionate and calm around every member of the Magrane staff that worked with him. 10/10 will recommend all my friends take their fur babies to them as well!

If I'm scheduling an appointment, requesting a prescription, being seen by a technician, Veterinarian, or another staff member, we know we will receive great service each and everytime.

The vet was very nice. My dog seemed happy with her too. He had the neutering surgery, they made sure I knew what was going to happen and how to care for him once he was home. They always call and check up on him after his visit. I would recommend Dr Polando.

Dr. Kathleen Neuhoff is one of the best veterinarians that I can actually say has a heart of gold and the team of Magrane Pet Clinic does a awesome job taking care of our 9 month old puppy. We had started with Dr. Neuhoff and Magrane’s back in 2013, she had taken care of our very sick 4 years old cocker spaniel. When we had to make a decision to lay her down on May 1,2013. So, when we got or 3 month old puppy late last year we reached out to Magrane and the fantastic team and Dr Neuhoff. To help us with the care and update medical and treatment for our Peanut who had a allergies when we first got him. He is growing and doing much better and enjoy’s the team at Magrane’s and Dr Neuhoff when they come to get him for his check’s up. Magrane’s and Dr Neuhoff are the best. Peanut and his family recommend Magrane Pet Medical Center for all there pet needs.

Was able to get my furbaby Nemo in last minute today for a checkup, Brandi and Shannon were super helpful and friendly - taking us in and throughout the whole visit. Dr. Niemann was also extremely pleasant and thorough with Nemo - my husband and I were extremely impressed by how home-y yet professional everyone was. I think we found Neno's new vet!

Dr Polando is the best Cat Dr you could hope for! Besides providing top notch care, she is gentle, kind and understanding. She is a cat whisperer! I brought my elderly Aunt's cat, which is extremely skittish, but Dr Polando handled her so gently that the cat was actually fairly cooperative - it was amazing! Hi highly recommend Dr Polando - especially if your cat is overly wary of strangers.

After an incident at the groomer, my Pomeranian, Chewie, needed to see a vet asap. It was a Saturday, and our normal vet wasn’t open. Magrane got me in the same day and Dr. Seng took great care of Chewie. She was kind, compassionate, and professional, and got his issue resolved. I really appreciated the wonderful service from Dr. Seng, and the whole team at Magrane, and the ability to get me in the same day. I am so grateful!

Best veterinary clinic in the area in my opinion. Magrane provided solutions for our pets that other local vets did not.They have really helped our elderly cat with her ear problems. They also see our 1 year old dog. We took our dog and buck rabbit there to be fixed and there were no complications or issues. They also were able to refer our doe rabbit to a exotic animal specialist for a chronic respiratory issue.Highly recommend Magrane to anyone. Although, they can be more expensive than others.
