Very friendly staff. Nice store and overnight camping spots They also have free bus shuttle to drop off points. The Blue River that runs through Milltown is beautiful! Had a great day with old friends.

I love this place! Excellent camping and showers. Wonderful kayak trips. They haul your boat, or you can rent one of theirs. The employees are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I will be back next season. The women's weekend was terrific! I left with a few new friends.

The owners were very nice and welcoming. There was a shop with everything you need, bathrooms, good parking. The river was beautiful, they drove us to the drop in poiunt. And we had a great day. I would highly recommend. Beautiful clean water, places to stop for breaks or food. It was awesome.

We had a great time this weekend kayaking and seeing the eclipse. This is a great little campground for both tents and small travel trailers. Campground was clean with nice gravel sites with big picnic tables and great fire pits. Owners were very nice and friendly. We were able to kayak the 1/2 day trip on Saturday and enjoyed the nice paddle down stream. We will definitely be back (hopefully with some family and friends).

Had the whole place to ourselves at the campgrounds. Took the bikes to ride and check out other things around the area. Very relaxing accommodating bathrooms and showers were open all hours. Though the water was fairly cold it didn't stop the family from taking a dip. Definitely recommend making it a weekend trip to explore and experience all to offer. The Marengo cave was absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful place! Second time we have been here. The half day trip is so nice. You can go at your own pace. We brought our own kayaks. The young men there are so helpful and nice. Helped us in and out of our kayaks with no mishaps! Reasonable prices and were super accommodating when we wanted to go a day earlier than I booked. Highly recommend!

This town y’all 😍😍 My family and friends enjoyed the canoeing. The weather was perfect and my kids from 6-18 had a blast. You will not regret booking a float.I also wanted to add make sure you try Out of the Blue ice cream and Coffee. Friends it’s amazing ice cream! The prices are so reasonable. It was a great refresher each evening of camping. This place is amazing!

We really enjoyed our time at Cave Country Canoes. We did the half day which was 7 miles. We took several pit stops and leisurely paddled and the trip took us 5 hours. Although there hadn’t been a ton of rain water levels were good enough that we had some currents and small rapids but nothing crazy. Any kayaker of any level could handle. We never had to get out and drag our kayaks to continue. There were several places you can pull off and snack and eat and stretch. We saw lots of turtles ducks and crawdads. My only complaint is it’s kinda busy. You eventually space out but it’s never completely private.

Girls weekend to CCC was amazing! The staff helped us on/off of the river, they provided shuttle service for a reasonable price. We stayed in their covered wagon. The wagon is just a place to sleep but it does have electric. I recommend bringing an extra towel to use as a curtain for the door. We were able to purchase firewood for a reasonable price. The staff answered all of our questions. The river has plenty of sun but offers shade coverage as well.

We enjoyed our trip down the river. It was an easy process since we had reservations to haul our canoe. Right when we arrived to Cave Country Canoe we were greeted and helped to unload our canoe. Even at the boat launch area it was a smooth since CCC helped us get our canoe in the water and get us loaded as well. The float down the river was peaceful with nice areas to pull over to get out for a little and to enjoy lunch. It is pricey to haul your own boat but the customer service was great.

We had just found out about the neat Lil campground that is next to Cave County Canoes. It's really neat and right next to the river. After that just about 2 to 3 minutes away is this amazing little Coffee/ IceCream called OUT OF THE BLUE, You've gotta stop here!! They have so many goodies!! Great place! Friendly Staff!

Enjoyed our stay at Cave Country Canoes. Since it was pre-season for the outings on the Blue River, we had the campground all to ourselves. Sherry was very friendly and helpful in getting us situated. The campground was very clean and neat. We had brought our own kayak and the Blue River was a beautiful place to be. Thanks, CCC!

This was my second visit to Cave Country Canoes, and it was even more fun than the first! We did the 14 mile stretch which, with stopping a few times, took us roughly 6 hours. The water was a bit low so I had to get out a few times when our canoe got caught (which is how I found the cutie turtle! Don’t worry, he went right back in after the photo). The low water didn’t bother me, I found it exciting, and the workers said they would have closed if the water was any lower. Even though the place was super busy as we signed in and got geared up to go (they provide life jackets and the boats and paddles, and they sell pretty much anything you could need for your trip at the main building), we didn’t see too many people on the water, and saw lots of baby ducks and even a doe and her baby! They sell ice cream too, which was a well-deserved treat when we finished. My only complaint is that we did not notice a single marking on the route, and no one told us where it would end. None of us thought much of it because we thought we would see markings. When we stopped and got some cell service we discovered it ended right after the only bridge we would pass but even then nothing was marked and we weren’t even sure if we were at the right place until we walked up a hill and saw people who were workers, who brought our canoes up for us to the bus waiting area. It would be nice to have a couple markings and to be told what to expect from the multiple people we interacted with before launching our canoe. Other kayakers asked us if we knew where it ended as well. My last visit was in 2017 and I remember there being some markings that must have been removed or washed away from weather. I also don’t remember making it all the way to that bridge our first time…I think it would be nice to have markers that told you how far from the end you were (we hadn’t a clue on the entire journey when we were halfway or close to the end to make it to our estimated pick up time).

We haven't been here for about 15 years. We are going to set up a group outing for next year, and we toured the facilities. Love the upgraded bathrooms and shower facilities as well as the new campsites with electric

Decent price to have some fun and make some great memories. Staff was very kind and helpful. Canoeing is a great test to see how well couples communicate and work together. Because my husband and I did 14 miles on a 7 mile canoe trip. We zigzagged the whole trip. 🤣

We took the 1/2 day canoe trip with cave country with 12 teens and adults! The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. The prices at the gift shop were reasonable. The trip itself was gorgeous and so pleasant! We will absolutely go again!

We all had a great time. Stared off with a little hiccup with having the wrong paddles but they got us the right ones as soon as they could. Hasn’t rained in awhile so the water was low and slow. Great for all of us as we have never been kayaking before. I had an 8, 10 and 14yr old and we all had our own kayaks. We took the 7 miles trip and it took 7 hours to complete. We did take our time and stopped several times to swim and look at the fish and shells. I highly recommend this trip for your family. We will be back.

Beautiful and fantastic experience!Highly recommend. We have been to a few southern Indiana canoe rental places, but so far this is the cleanest, friendliest and most accommodating by far.Online reservations make it so easy to up and go very quickly. Reserve a convenient time for you and your group.Show up and check in, go get fitted for a lifejacket, then be helped with someone picking out the correct length of oar you will need according to your height. (Never had that happen anywhere else, it was always a free for all and hope for the best.)You walk out front of the building where you load up on a bus and are transported to a drop in location. A few workers will assist you in bringing your kayak/canoe down the slight incline to the water (which has concrete steps and a small dock!), They hold your kayak/canoe as you load your things in and then climb in.... And your off on a beautiful adventure!Lots of ducks and turtles are visible the whole way. Luckily we didn't see a single snake... My nemesis! When you round the bend to the end at the unloading area there is a nice concrete boat ramp for you to float up to and be pulled in my more workers. Your car awaits you after a very short walk to the parking lot where you started.Everyone was exceptionally friendly that we encountered.Only one snafu was we didn't get our canoe seat cushions and back rests we paid for at the beginning before we loaded the bus.... But, one of the gentlemen drove all the way back to get then for us. Wouldn't have been a big deal, but I have lower back issues and my back said "you will need those for sure". He was back in a jiffy. So nice and not snotty for the hassle. So make sure you mention those at check in.Otherwise I promise you will love this place!I've attached pictures....

Cave Country Canoes 🛶 was a great time for me and my wife as 1st time kayakers. The staff was friendly. The only reason for not giving 5-stars is I think there needs to be a person at the half way marker with maybe bottled waters and first aid. Maybe have time slots for advanced folks only so that way the amateur kayakers have time to get the hang of it. Maybe have signs throughout saying how you are progressing. Overall great adventure and we will be back with a larger crew! We have already recommended Cave Country Canoe!

Came in on the Sunday after Derby with some co-workers. We are all in the service industry so we’re very attuned to good hospitality (or a lack of it). The staff at Cave Country was very hospitable and professional! They unloaded my kayak from my vehicle and loaded it onto a trailer, without me having to ask for assistance. I’ve been to other outfitters and just had to carry or drag my boat to the bus or drop-in site, so this extra help was really appreciated. One of our friends was staying at the campsite, which was clean, well maintained and right next to the water. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

It was are first time coming. We was visiting family that was camping that weekend. We did the half day canoe and kayak trip. It was very long 7 mile trip. But we had a lot of great memories we will look back on and laugh about. Very nice staff and store. The camp ground was very very clean and relaxing. The only suggestions I have would be to have extra staffing helping people get onto the canoes and kayaks instead of just one person at the bottom and to have mile markers to show how far u have gone because the map was no help. There was a lot of places to stop and get off your canoes and take pictures and eat. Beautiful scenery It would be nice to have a 3 mile trip for starters. I would highly recommend people to come out because it was worth going for the day. Very very clean place. We will be back

Recently, I took part in a Wounded Warrior Project kayaking trip here. First time in a kayak as well as my dog. Had a great experience, despite my dog flipping me once. Will definitely be back on my own next time.

This is a beautiful place to take a day trip, and great for first time kayakers! My friends and I had never been kayaking before, and really wanted to give it a whirl. Luckily we stumbled upon this gem. It's affordable, and perfect for those who have little to no experience. We have been several times over the past couple of years, and will definitely find time to go back in the future!

My introduction to Cave Country canoe was at the very first Paddlefest. Been back every year since along with a group that right now numbers around 20 or so. I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone working there, from the kids at the ramp to the owners. They know what 'service with a smile' means and provide it freely. So rare today...Over the years I've used multiple kayak liveries and Cave Country does it best. Not much more I can say, they do it right.I was there just last weekend helping with the spring river clean up of the Blue river. Wonderful time. We found and removed a lot of trash that would have ended up in the Ohio river and then on to the ocean. Makes you feel good to do something positive for the earth. Lol I've always have carried a bit of my Hippie roots with me and the joy of giving back to nature is pretty well baked in after all my yearsI have also been buying the Cave Country canoes Season Pass for a few years now, wonderful thing IMO. Can't get down to Milltown often (live in Indy) but often enough to make it a great deal.Laurie Shoemaker

We had a group of six celebrating a birthday and did the 7 mile trip and catered dinner afterwards. We all had a great time. Check in was easy, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the help loading into the kayak and the help getting out at the end. Bathrooms were clean and also enjoyed the nice gift shop. Dinner was delish! A very nice, fun day for our group! Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend camping and kayaking. Sites are well maintained with a huge picnic table and firepit with a rotating grill grate to make cooking a breeze. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great trip. The store is well stocked with anything you might need for a day on the river. Our kids especially loved riding the bus. The food truck and snow cone stand located right as you exit the water was a great bonus. Looking forward to coming back soon.
