Recently we had to make the difficult decision to have our dog KC put to sleep because she was very ill and suffering. All of the staff at Milford Animal Clinic did everything they could and crossed their fingers with us that she would get better but she did not. Even though it will be a little while before we need the services of Milford Animal Clinic again we very highly recommend them.In one of the most difficult situations you can face in life the staff was kind and considerate and very compassionate with us. The first few days were the most difficult for us and wouldn't you know it the staff sent us a sympathy card and it arrived right when we needed it the most to reassure us we made the right choice for our pup.If you visit Milford Animal Clinic one time, just a single time, you won't go any other place after that. They are that good!

Yesterday my mom and I took her 15 year old dog to be put down. I was taken to a room, waited for 40 minutes. It was horrible sitting there waiting, the dog was nervous, felt awful for him. The vet came in, had no compassion. Most places knowing it is the worst day with your pet wouldn't have you wait. We also came in and exited the same front door. Terrible after such an emotional time.I have had to put down several dogs in my life. My appointment was set for a specific time. The tech and vet were ready and there was compassion.I would never ever go to this practice.

They listened to me when I said something was wrong with my dog, when other Vets said I was wrong. My dog was really sick, and Thanks to them, he is doing ok. They knew all the right tests to run for Cushings Disease and the right meds.

My senior cat was sick and hurting at the end of his trail, and Dr. Smith took time away from his family on a Saturday evening to help put my kitty to rest. He was so empathetic and kind. My cat hates going to the vet. The folks here are very accommodating, I usually wait in my car and when the room is ready for us they let me just take my cat straight into the room. They seem to handle angry cats well. Always given great service. I like this office so much I drive there from Pierceton.

I don't know why I haven't reviewed these guys sooner. If you are looking for a solid team who will always have the best interest of your pet in mind, this the place. The level of empathy these staff have is remarkable. The environment there is awesome, no matter what circumstance you find yourself needing vet attention for. The exams are thorough, and you don't feel like they are just trying to rush through another appointment. I couldn't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend.

I have had 4 of my cats into Milford Animal Clinic and they have all received top notch care. The vets are absolutely great with my cats. Any procedures I’ve had done on them were done accurately, professionally and with great care. My cat Duncan had dental work done there and he is eating like crazy now, his recovery time was amazingly quick. I highly recommend them!!
