This store has had a whole heap of issues.First, the store has abruptly closed in the middle of the afternoon before due to coverage issues. Those same issues are something that has plagued the store for quite sometime, and it’s hard to fault the staff for not wanting to work 60 hours a week due to high turnover.Second, the store seems to always be searching for a store manager. If you can’t retain a manager, how can you retain general employees?Third, the shelves are suffering. It’s hard to buy a gallon of water or milk, they always seem to be out of whatever I’m shopping for.As a regular customer, it’s very frustrating to not be able to find what I need because the shelves aren’t stocked, or they had to close down at 5 due to a call off.

The employees are awesome. I'm a daily shopper. The employees should get paid more. Some go the distance for your customers. Their being over worked and that's how you go through so many employees. If you added more employees. I see it, other customers see it. You definitely don't want to loose customers because of how you treat your employees over worked and underpaid. You can afford hiring more employees and take some stress off the managers you've gone through.

While visiting a beach in Milford my Sister and I heard by word of mouth this store had clothing items marked 90% off. Off we went, arrived at the store to find two racks of clothing just outside by the door and two more just inside the door. We began to assist each other finding sizes to fit any family members in need. Very soon, the excitement was darkened by a snarky voice, I now know belongs to Peggy. She says " um you are interfering with the sensors" I reply "I didnt place the racks here, but would you like me to step aside so you can move them?" She doesn't reply and hastfully walks away. Later, I hear the snarky voice telling someone "you are in my way" I look up to see Peggy, hearding people who are standing in line, waiting to pay out of her way.. Peggy reappears later in the area we are shopping, peers into my Sisters cart then rolls her eyes and turns away, once again displaying the unsavory haughtiness. My sister and I get in line with our abundance amount of DEALS . Out of respect for others time, we allow 6 customers, with fewer items, to go in front of us. As we are checking out, the line continues to build but Tiffany never reacts to the pressure, instead treats us with kindness and patience while processing our large orders. Soon, the line is half way down the isle ( 20 customers or more) I only notice this, when I hear that snarky voice, call out to Tiffany in rudenesss saying "what's going on Tiffany" Tiffany replies, "I have two large orders." Peggy replie s" "well, hurry it up" then walks away in the opposit direction of offering any assistance to her Team Member or Customers.I had to return to the store today . Which is a 50 mile round trip from my home in Elkhart Indiana. There is Tiffany, on the floor stockung items on the shelf while Peggy, is sauntering down the isles doing nothing! I squeeze the pig and soon Peggy comes to the register,. She doesnt hreet me but stands there while I remove items for exchange from the bag. As I go to hand her the receipt and say I need to exchange these. Only then, does she say in the same snarky rude voice, "I can't do that here , you will have to go to the next register" I began to gather my things, matching her rudeness in my tone "I say "you don't have to treat me so rudely" when I arrive at the next register, she again greets me with rudeness statibg "I wasn't being rude" I reply, " I have witnessed your rudeness since I stepped foot in this store yesterday" Ni cursing , only matched the same rudeness in my tone when calling her out on the snarky rudeness I had now witnessed and seen tolerated on one too many occasions.For that, and only that, I was told to leave the store. My punishment for standing up to her, I am left with items I was so blessed to have found now of no use and no longer available in other stores.I have contacted corporate regarding this matter. Awaiting a call back, I had the idea that perhaps Tiffany who seems to care about the customer, would maybe put back the items of correct size, which at those prices, was very few, until the district manager could sort this out. I called the store and asked for Tiffany, Peggy answered and advised Tiffany was busy. Then asked "who's calling" I simply and kindly said, that's okay, I will try back" Peggy replies with "no you won't" then hangs up. Peggy had no way or knowing nor any idea it was me..... But say, somehow she figured it so, her behavior clearly is the opposit of a solution focused retail proffesional.The evil spirit she chooses to be guided by is hurtful and damaging to future customer relations. For Dollar General.

Love this store and all other dollar generals. the i store coupons with the app so awesome. not only can i buy name brand soap for just a buck i can also save money on basically everything else! pop is always on sale too and that’s great because i need all the extra caffeine i can get so i can keep browsing the dollar items!!! love it

When I first moved here and called Milford my home 3 years ago Dollar Generals staff was so nice the store was nice. Three years later the staff has no manners and they are not very friendly, okay their is two that are nice but grumpy.I no longer go to this store. I go to Syracuse, Leesburg or New Paris store

Those poor employees seemed so sad and depressed.... I had to greet her, try to make nice small talk while she processed my transaction while she gave me the "oh just shut up" look. Ignored my 12 year old extremely polite son. The store is dim and dingy seems dirty and disorganized. It gets worse every time I have had to go in. I'm sorry.

They typically have what I need, it's just a matter of if they've got it on the shelves. The employees are however, nice and helpful should you need assistance. From what I can see, this is a matter of poor delegation on the part of the store management team. Easy to correct without disciplinary action by a regional managers training. The corporate suits cant seem to understand that you retain good people when you invest in your employees through training, advancement opportunity, and performance based incentives. This is how the people you employ keep a good moral. This means they will be happier, which in turn makes them more productive. More productivty means that the stock sitting in the back room can be on the shelves making the company money where it should be. You have to keep your stock turns high and your inventory low. This makes the best situation for profitability, but if the company makes money than the employees who make that possible deserve a decent living wage also. How can you not see that paying people a wage that they can live on will only create more profits for thd company (because of the aforementioned ). To whom ever at DG who takes the time to read reviews of your company in order to determine what you can do better, you're welcome.

It was ok but the one in Warsaw behind tracks is THE ONE I LOVE. And I would give that one 10 stars. They have even taken my stuff to my car and loaded it for me.(am on walker and alittle older) That is the only one that has done it but I love that they do. Penny

It's weird, but when new managers are hired in, the stock changes. You get used to one thing and then in comes a new manager and that item disappears. It's happened several times. It's annoying. It's almost like a potluck. You never know from one week to the next what's gonna be there.Oh, and they can't seem to get their card readers working correctly. They keep blaming it on a severe storm, but man...did they take several lightning strikes? How long does it take to fix the card reader system? Oh, and during these times don't attempt to write a check instead. It'll reject those too and the cashier and manager, both who don't know how to talk to customers, will tell you and everyone else in line that your check was denied, probably because of a bad check you have written there. I don't write many checks and never at a store, but yet I was humiliated in front of a long line of customers when they said this. I waited until the card reader was reset 3 times before it read my card and I could leave.

Little cluttered but all Dollar Generals are. Best $1 Dollar deals that consist of hygiene and cleaning products. Awesome cashier's as well.

Moon Unit Zappa's daughter works here! Frank Zappa's granddaughter! Came up from our home in Amelia Island Florida to visit my son and grandkids - ran in this Dollar General for some "going to the lake to get our groove on" supplies and DANG IT if we didn't see her cashiering like everyone else who doesn't have Rock Star grandparents!There really is more than CORN in Indiana!

So messy! Carts and boxes everywhere make it awkward to get around. Some aisles were totally blocked.Maybe corporate should back off of the endless shuffle of items from shelf to shelf, and let them just get their deliveries out on the shelves!

Each and everytime I enter the store cashier or worker that's in the front always welcomes me and gladly assists wen I need help and a evening greeting as I leave the store. Thank you dollar general

Out little town has no grocery store so having Dollar General for all your the little things we need plus some food items is a life saver.
