I’ve been shopping here for years. The prices have increased and whenever I start getting used to a brand, it’s either sold out a few weeks later or out of stock indefinitely. The store employees are always friendly and helpful so no complaints there. The stores layout is fine but every time I get used to where something is, they rearrange the store. It’s annoying but I get it. It’s a marketing tactic. The more time you spend in the store looking for something, the more likelihood you’ll purchase something on an impulse. Although save a lot isn’t saving me a lot anymore, I’ll still shop here because it’s convenient and I never have to wait a long time to check out. They also take every form of payment under the sun. Three stars because the prices aren’t really that affordable anymore and they are always out of stock of my favorite food items.

I was next door shopping at GOODWILL FOR 50% OFF DAY.. I Bought 2 lg . bags of almost new clothes.. It was wonderful shopping..So many good items . Spent only $54 oo.Lots of savings .. Took my time and looked ..

I love this place. The store is spot on clean. They have good deals. Quality products. Excellent customer service. And recently have renovated this store to make it more user friendly as well as easier to find things. The wider aisles make it easier to navigate. If I've ever had a question the staff answered it. If I ever was looking for a product and I asked for help the staff was immediately on top of it assisting me. The general manager of this particular store in Michigan City is A#1. Parking is easy and accessible. The weekly specials are amazing. I encourage people to consider Save-A-Lot as a go-to store!

Shop here almost everyday ,store staff is great store clean always and guess what ? All the managers work the floor and will jump on register if a line pops up .that's 5 star power .

For being a small store they offer a variety of products. The only area I was disappointed in was their produce. Not very large selection and low on the items they do have. I have bad knees so it's a lot easier to shop there. All other dept's we're well stocked. Friendly with the exception of cashier's. 😟

The place is a bit disheveled from rude shoppers, but the prices are good. Every winter I go to get a pair of the best long johns around for $10. It's a big store with lots of merchandise.Don't forget to help out by "like"ing reviews and photos you like.

Save-A-Lot was not like it used to be. There is not a lot of savings.I work near by so I frequent this store quite often and today was the first day that the cashier treated me with kindness and respect (she was a new face) hopefully the other cashier's do not rub off on her but I do not think they will because she seemed seasoned in the customer service area 😉

I like shopping here. It's easy to get in and out quickly most of the time. Cashiers check your order out, but you have to bag or box your order. They carry most of your basic needs.

Great deals. Traffic is all messed up due to roadwork. Suggest turning at light like you are going to Meyer's and then take the access road to the right... all the way to the end.

It's OK don't really save a lot about the same as other places I went there for one thing , decided to pick up some produce which was not very good and started molding in 3 days probably won't go back,never liked their meat quality either
