Great store, great stuff and lots more variety than other big box stores. Would've given 5 stars, if the layout had made more sense and if stuff hadn't been more expensive than I usually have to spend for the same quality. The app also SUCKS, especially if you're trying to scan a barcode for a price. Sales were good, tho.

I would give a zero if possible. The Michigan City store has NO business being in the 'pick up' arena. They are woefully understaffed and disorganized. If you like a 3 to 4 hour wait from promised time go for it. Don't wait for a text never comes

I love Meijer over any other grocery store. If you decide to give it a try, I suggest you get Mperks. I've saved almost 300 dollars since the beginning of the year. I I love their food, clothes and shoes. My closet proves it. You won't be disappointed.

I love this for 1 stop shopping, food, clothes & health care needs. The pharmacy is top notch. Very fast & has a drive up.

Nice department and grocery store. Good clothing including Carhartt & Levi's. Large sporting goods section, housewares & toys. Supermarket has a lot of unique items.Restrooms are up front inside foyer.Looked at several items that did not have prices. Check outs only available at one end... not the end where we parked.

I was shopping on Black Friday, busy day as you know. I was searching for a specific toy and was told the truck was there being unloaded. So I waited around and little while later the GM asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for, he went to look and stated he didn't see any in the back just yet. He asked if I was ok leaving my name and number, he would call me when they came in and put one aside. So thank you so much for all you assistance and help. So very appreciated. This is my favorite Meijer around.

I would give stracks zero stars if I could for wasting my time. I was called in for an interview apparently for a position that was already filled in. I was a “backup” in case the other person pulled out. Lack of profession. Never shopping here again.

I have not been to this Meijer in over a year and last night and today I was reminded why. I tried to order online and the system was not working but no announcement. So I try again this morning no. Call in to get it solved but the "customer care" put all of it on my inability to know to not use the app. Then the prices were different because the sale ended at midnight. Again, something I should have known. I don't work there. This store has a policy of " that's your problem". Stop going to the chains stores they don't care and you do all the work. Corporate don't care so go to local stores

Betta fish were in horrible condition swimming in water filled with leftover food and poop. A majority of them were pretty lethargic with bad fins. The water appears to have not been changed in a while considering the buildup of food and poop. Just because these animals are small, cheap, and not as special as a dog or cat does not mean they don't deserve the right to clean water. What's the point in selling fish for buy one get one 50% off if they are swimming in their own poop and dirty water? How hard is it to spend a few minutes of your shift making sure the fish you sell get fresh water and food.

I left my cell phone on the cart. The cart guy turned it in . I picked it up 3 hours later. I searched for guy I saw gathering carts and stopped him and asked if found a phone . He lit up and said "oh ya that was me.i thought hey what if it was my phone " he was honest and descent.all I could afford was $20 so I gave it to him .

Great selection of products, the place is always clean, check out lines move quickly, parking is usually pretty easy. There are plenty of other choices in Michigan City. But we have never been disappointed at meijers.Our family's favorite part about the Meijers in Michigan City is seeing John the door greeter when we come into the store!

Backstory for this review: I am from the south where Meijer is not. I absolutely loved this location! So much better than I expected walking in! I do not think shopping at my local Walmart will ever be the same.

Yeah, just wanted to throw this out there. More of a corporate issue. I haul your guys semi trailers for the lansing account and when I showed up to this place on 12/17. No one answers the door, answered one call said be right out, next thing you know it's been almost an hour and now they won't answer any calls. Not a huge deal for me because I'll just leave and head to another meijer that is willing to work. Hopefully some meijer employee sees this, kinda hard to do both our jobs if no one answers the door or phone.

Bathrooms by the deli are great for naps or hooking up with a girl you haven't seen since highschool. They got a pretty decent selection of chips too

Meijer is great for finding harder to find items. I usually end up here if I am making something exotic. Or need an odd item like cheese cloth.

This store is notorious for stopping my self check out and a manager needing to come over and push buttons and review video. EVERY DAMN TIME! Today is the LAST DAMN time I will ever go to any Meijer store. Never again.

Prices going up. Out of stock on sale items. 2nd post:This was a better day . Mostly in stock. Will try Valpo store next. Remodeling looks good, glad when it's done. Much the same as my 1st post. Long lines at checkout. Only 2 or 3 open. Went early in the morning and still not filling stock overnight.

Sorry Meijer, but you're still up to your old tricks. The shelf discount sticker says one thing and when one goes into mperks the discount says something else.Always seems that the issues are always in your favor.......sadly for the working man it's not in their favor.

I don't know what is going on with this Meijer, but it is going downhill fast.....the shelves are always half empty, things I've bought regularly for years are no longer being carried, the whole place is dirty, the bathrooms are always disgusting, most of the employees act like they have something better to do than their jobs & it's getting to the point I absolutely hate shopping there anymore. I work in Chesterton & even tho' things cost a little more, I'm going to Jewel & Strack's more & more-at least I can find what I'm looking for most of the time, shelves are fully stocked & the employees are friendly.

The place was Bright, Clean, Organized and very welcoming. What a pleasure to shop there. The selection is really great, and their variety of items range from grocery to wines to household pillows, kitchen things, toys, clothes - everything you could need! We stocked up on a vacation we have coming up and are excited to pack it all up and enjoy time with family eating all the food we just bought‼️💯

Love the Mperks. The lines usually move fairly quickly. Nice sales. Convenient app, which makes shopping and mperks coupons a breeze. You can order ahead for pick up that will be brought to your car if you'd like. Friendly staff. Usually a less stressful environment than the alternative super center competitor in town. Clothing prices are a bit high for what you get unless you find a good sale. The electronics department has overall gotten better after the face lift, but it still lacks in certain areas such as video games. The old set-up used to have a lot more variety. Other areas of the store have improved for the better, though. Nice toy and book selection compared to the competitors. Good grocery department. Charging for electric cars available on site.
