When I eat in a place like this, I wish there was an option for 5+ stars. To start, exceptionally friendly folk taking care of you, the food was some of the most flavorful and properly prepared/cooked/served food that I've had throughout lots of travel. It's so good, makes me wish I lived locally to experience it often. Very neat look and vibe. The owner should be very proud of what they've accomplished here.

Diamond in the ruff alert!! Not to sound 2 🌽 corny but 😳 omg this place is amazing!!!! I am astonished they do not have a line out the door!! Honestly though we arrived the second they opened the doors and it did begin to fill up very quickly, The biscuits had grill marks on them gang...GRILL MARKS!? they had just a little crunch and it was perfect, the gravy was made this morning, it was better than my mother's (please do not tell her I said that) The chorizo burrito 🌯😭 UNREAL!! IT WAS HUGE!!! So full of goodness!!! The corn beef hash wasn't your run of the mill either..huge chunks of beef and these beautifully seasoned potatoes!!! Now for the best part 😁 BOURBON 🍌 BANANA FRENCH TOAST!!!! I literally wanted to drink the sauce, it is made to order every single time!!!! Gang of your in Michigan City do yourself a favor and stop by this little gem!!!

While on your way here, it might feel like you are heading into a setup to get yourself killed, but the food here is worth the risk.Each dish we tried is just a bit different than a traditional version of what I've had before. The biscuits with sausage gravy has a couple eggs over-easy on top of it, which somehow just works. It is one of my favorite renditions of this dish that I've ever had.The French Toast had some walnuts and bananas included with the syrup and cream cheese. This was also excellent.Neither dish was too far out on a limb from what you would expect, but the small changes definitely added some complexity and we both thought for the better.It's only a small little joint with maybe 6-7 tables, but they do have some outside patio seating as well if weather permits.Staff was friendly and quick to get orders/drinks and bring the food out when it was ready. I just wish I could have tried a couple more of the dishes.

This place is amazing! We were on a road trip looking for a place for lunch, and although this is off the beaten path, it was well worth it! The owner was a lot of fun to talk to, and the food was fabulous. While we were waiting for our food, she brought a blueberry muffin over and cut it into four pieces so we could each sample. When she realized that my husband could not have gluten she brought over a chocolate mousse for him in an edible chocolate cup. The blueberry muffin was probably the best I’ve ever had.

Very mid-grade. Not busy, was told to seat myself then was rushed the entire time. Not sure if it’s because I wasn’t dressed like the usual folk that come to the restaurant or because I was by myself.Waitress never told me her name.Was attended to by 3 different people from ordering to bill, so even if the check says “Gabby” idk which one of them WAS Gabby.Over $5 for a room temp orange juice that was the size of a Splenda packet.Got the Wake and Bacon sandwich which had 1 1/2 pieces of bacon on it.Artwork available for sale was a cool touch.Not returning.

This place is adorable! There's a reason this place is constantly busy. The food was excellent, everyone was so friendly, and there's a ton of character in the place. I had the special which was corned beef hash and eggs. It was delicious and plenty of food. My wife got the Captain's Special which was HUGE and delicious! The blueberry muffins are large and look amazing. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

Cute and quirky interior. Fantastic food. I had the Eggs Benedict, and it was amazing. The sauce was crazy delicious, I wish I could have it on everything. My bf had the French toast and loved it. We also had the strawberry rubbarb pie, and it's the best I've ever had. Definitely don't miss this spot.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options, and they will make non-vegetarian dishes vegetarian.

The food here fully satisfied my tastebuds and my tummy. Highly recommend the South Shore Breakfast Burrito! Great customer service- the staff was so friendly and authentic! I came on the weekend and they had a live musician who brought in such a calming atmosphere that made me feel like I was on the east coast or in a Hallmark movie.

Great find in an unexpected area of MC! We had the quiche and it was a generous portion that tasted great! Bottom crust could have been a bit flakier, but still delicious. The cute beach shack vibe had me looking at all the great art and decor and I even bought a piece I couldn't stop looking at. It looked empty at first, but filled up quickly around 10:30. The service was fantastic! All smiles and speedy. Will return whenever we are in town.

We were visiting in town with my sisters and cousin, and we absolutely loved our experience at Dune Billies! It was like stepping into a movie by the coast. Definitely local gem full of warmth and delicious food! The blueberry muffins are to DIE for! 😋 The owner was extremely kind and inviting. And the live music was delightful. (We had some food allergies) And they were so kind and courteous in finding something we could all eat! 👌🏻 I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Delicious sandwiches. My boyfriend and I were passing through on our way to Warren dunes. I had the Avo BLT and it was beyond satisfying. We ordered to go so we could sit at the picnic tables at the park across the street. Highly recommend. Very quaint.

Excellent food. Our server was very nice. Our table was right in the path of the cash register and the route they used to seat other customers; they really shouldn't have you sit at a table like that because it makes it uncomfortable to eat.I loved the artwork on the walls!

Any place who has big size tea cups already gets 5 stars from me, but this place even allows you to pick a cup if you wish. Food is really delicious, very well paired everything. I had breakfast wrap with cheese, egg, spinach and pesto and it was super. Employees very friendly there. Make a stop and you will love it.
