We didn't have time to have our pooches nails done before we left for our trip. Called about 10 minutes before showing up and they said to come on in. They were very friendly and did both dogs. They handled the dogs with compassion and respect and were overall very nice folks to deal with.

NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. We just got our dog back and I called the owner to complain that he did a terrible job on my dog's hair cut. He was still matted on his belly where he was asked to take off the hair. He did not trim in his ears. He didn't take hardly any hair off or trim his paw pads. His face looks terrible because he trimmed it all uneven. His excuse was that the animal was aggressive. I asked if he muslled him and he said yes. When I asked what the problem was then he blamed the dog again. I requested half my $40 back and he refused. Terrible service and worse customer service.

Definitely would recommend this place!!! He was so great with both of my dogs! Reasonable in price and very friendly. He was able to cut one of the dogs nails without an issue even though she hates her feet being messed with. Thank you so much!! I'll definitely be back.

I have took my dogs here for years with the previous owner never no issues. I had appt on Jan 6 at 9am. I went there business was closed, so I called the number on the door and he tells me that he was having car trouble an would call me when he got to the shop to let me know when I could bring them back or reschedule. It’s now been over a week and I still never even received a call! I run a business I get it things happen but to not even bother to call a customer back to make things right is not how you run a business!

Our very anxious Rottie mix came out smelling wonderful and with his nails neatly trimmed. The prices are very reasonable and the hours are so convenient. He was not the perfect client but they are welcoming him back which means a lot to me.

We have two Bernese Mountain dogs Nitro (100lbs) 3 years old and Saison (70) 1 year old. This was our first time trying out the groomer and we were nothing but pleased with the price and quality of the service. When we first arrived he took time to get to know them and gave them treats. I know bigger dogs can be difficult and stubborn being bernese but he did a great job! We will definately being coming back to support the small business as well as letting others know how well he did! Thank You!

The Marine who used to own this place sold it to his lazy brother in law. Brought my 2 shih tzus in for a teddy bear clip & he said they were too matted to do that! I call BS because mg regular groomer has worked with worse.. He said he could SHAVE them!!!! But yet he told me the blades couldn't handle the mats. You're supposed to comb them!!! This guy is a joke!

Have been taking our 3 dogs to David since he first opened shop there.A Westie, a Jack Beagle and a Pom/Kesh mix named Spencerwho thinks he's 10 feet tall and bullet proof.David has always done a great job with our 3.Bringing them in for their 'Do' this morning.Thank you David.

I am just putting out a warning ... DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY PET TO SEMPER FI PET SALON ON HWY 20 MICHIGAN CITY IN. UNLESS YOU WANT TO CHANCE YOUR PET GETTING MISTREATED.This business doesnt even deserve one star...I took my 5 pound miniature yorkie to Semper Fi Pet Salon on hwy 20 in Michigan City. I asked them to trim her body and give her head a yorkie look. He asked me if she was aggressive I said no not at all. He told me that if she does turn out to be aggressive that he would give me a call to see if he should proceed. I told him yes that is fine. Well I never received a call and I called him a couple of times to see how things were going and nothing was said about her being aggressive. then when I picked her up I could tell there was something wrong with her for she was not my Lucy. They SHAVED her body all the way up to the back of her ears. And they trimmed her face all uneven. He tells me that she was very aggressive and that he had to hold her down for his other groomer to finish her. I told him wow that isnt like her she is very good over at her regular place she goes to and that they do a great job on her with out any fussiness from her. I got her home and she went and ran under the couch which is definitely NOT Lucy. After a little bit I got her out from under my couch and she had red marks on her tummy and she was shaking like a leaf. I sat her down and she was limping BIG TIME. She wouldnt put any weight on her foot at all. I looked closer to it and it was bleeding with a bunch of that powder they put on when they cut too deep and it had some of it mixed with dried blood. Today I took her to our vet and he said that he was going to have to remove her nail completely for it was all the way down to the base where it is making it sore. The the technician told me that who ever did this didnt do the other nails at all. So all together it cost me $25 for the groomer and $60 for the vet call. And my precious little Lucy still cannot walk on her leg she is still holding it up and she is still going under the couch. and she is still shaking like a leaf when I get her out... Lucy was so vibrant and happy and running around here with her little tail just a wagging. Not now... I hope she gets over this trauma and I hope her little foot pain goes away soon. Well My husband said lets wait a week to make sure we dont have to take her back in to the vet. She is still not the same. The red marks went away and the nail seems to have gotten better. But she is still not sure of herself it seems. For she isnt jumping all over like before. This is ridiculous. I am so mad and I am not the type of person to complain. But This is down right terrible. Ill be taking her back to her regular groomer where I know they will treat her awesome and wont hurt her... SMHUpdate... My husband went in and the owner was all dirty with dog hair all over him and my husband started off being very nice about this situation and the owner got extremely rude and refused to refund us saying how we waited a week. My husband tried to explain why we waited a week but it didnt matter the owner had nothing to say to him.He showed him the vet bill but the owner said he wasnt paying anything. Then he told my husband to leave and followed him to the door. The vet bill was $58 and the grooming fee was $25. But its more than the money my poor Lucy was hurt physically and mentally in this mess.Found out that once I posted this in a few groups, that there are a lot others out there who have gotten horrible service with their pets.

Veteran owned and affordable grooming services. Big plus is no appointment needed, just walk on in. Super fast too, so your pet is not there all day.
