We have visited a few times and are happy to make the long drive for us to do so. Great selection of both fresh and saltwater livestock and supplies. Fresh plants are always healthy, and the fish are as well. Very nice selection of corals, with great colors and placement for showing off at the store.We do not have any reptiles, but is cool to see them when visiting and has just as much selection on hand. Great stop if you are in the area, or plan to make a trip if you are in the hobby.

Great pet store! Came to check out the shop for aquatics and ended up leaving with my dogs favorite ball that is hard to find! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone with aquariums and pets or looking to get one.

Out of all of the Pet shops I go to, this is by far the best for being clean and also having the best selection. Very knowledgeable staff and great prices. I will always go here first for all My Aquatic needs.

I have been a loyal patron for over 20 years. Why? Because staff have always been knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and personable. All of the animalfish/reptile/bird enclosures are always well maintained, and animals, etc. always look healthy. They are always busy every time I visit, various days and times, because they have a lot of returning customers. In all the years I've shpped here, I have NEVER been disappointed!

The best place in NWI for pet supplies or help with getting started with a pet. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of fish. Their salt water display is awesome and everyone loves their Macaw that is a permanent fixture!

Clean. Excellent fish healthy and variety both freshwater and saltwater fish and inverts. Macroalgae and freshwater plants. So much for many different pets. Fun touch pool for children!

This is the place you are meant to be.Hey if you are looking for anything freshwater or saltwater. I highly recommend the Ark pet shop. I was just there looking to get a new start on a reef tank. So many choices in tanks and aquarium needs. Hey let's not forget the fish and the corals. So much to choose from. Ask for James. Or the owner.

Waited patiently to be assisted to purchase fish from the assorted mbuna tank when finally I was helped I told the lady I want two she said ok so she gets her net and take the cup diped it in the fish tank and two fish was scooped in the process by luck she then turned to me and said that's it I told no because I didn't get to pick my fish. she then told me no not in the assorted low price tank. wait what I said well I don't want them! regardless the price the customer should have a choice especially when we are helping supportthe business with are money because you could have given me a sick or beaten fish well when I said that she said well fine in a somewhat attitude tone which two you want I'll do this this once but I'll talk to management about this once he gets back from vacation..UsCatching specific fish for customers out of assorted mbuna tank..after she said that I told her I had no problem before until now with you.... I gave this place 4 stars no 5 because of that one employee because I love the variety of fish there and animals you want find at you big chain stores and also cleaness.

I'll give them 3 stars because they weren't pushy, they didn't try to pressure me into anything but I do wish the sales associate was a little nicer but he could have been busy or had an off day. Otherwise, I would give a 4 star.

Their guinea pigs have upper respiratory infections i’ve gotten two both different times and i’ve had to take them to the vet and get them treated. Their small animal cages are way too small and there’s no room for them to run around.

Recieved a faulty light twice. Big hassle to get a refund. The Ark made me contact the company to receive even worse customer service. Very stressful after spending thousands at the ark over a 10 year span why couldnt they switch the light or refund me straightaway the first time. Wont return even for fish food. Thanks to Paul jr And Paul Sr. You guys are chasing out your regulars.

Cool place, parakeets are overcrowded and are stressed, though. Seems about 15+ in a clear, square container the size of a microwave. Possible extensive training needed if you choose to purchase one from here.

This is the place to go especially if you are into marine fish and invertebrates....all of there livestock are healthy with clean enclosures crystal clear water. They offer affordable R.O.D.I water as well as very helpful information about animal husbandry. A one stop shop kind of place.

This is such a unique pet shop! They have a variety of different fish and lots of other exotic animals. They have a wide variety reptile supplies. I enjoy coming to this pet store. They have great drift wood options for reptiles too. Listed below is a couple of pictures of my bearded dragons aquarium set up. Thank you Ark Pet store! I would give ZERO stars if I could. I’ve spent 100’s of dollars in the store and own 8 fish. One of the fish we purchased is extremely aggressive towards the other fish and he is very territorial. We called and asked if we could just donate him to the store because he’s a beautiful fish he just doesn’t do well with all the other fish in our 100 gallon tank now that he’s getting bigger. We called and asked and the young man on the line if we could donate him and he told us we could. So today my husband called to see when they open tomorrow. The owner of the location responded with “Oh that was you, I fired the employee who told you that for telling you that.” My husband obviously confused at this point asked why… the owner responded with “Didn’t it kill one of your fish, so what makes you think I want it?” He then proceeded to tell my husband that “We cost him one of his employees.” and then proceeded to HANG UP ON HIM. I’ve never heard someone be so rude for absolutely no reason at all. And I definitely won’t be supporting a business that fires people for what I see as an easily fixable mistake. As a local business owner, all the man had to do was inform my husband he was given the wrong information. There was absolutely no need to fire the man, or hang up on a paying customer. Very disappointed in the service we’ve received especially after spending so much money in this store.

The people here are great! I just bought a 10 gallon tank elsewhere and came in here for some guidance and to buy the rest of the equipment I needed.Everything was explained to me in great detail. All the questions I had were answered professionally and were extremely helpful to guide me in the right direction. The salesman even answered questions I didn’t know I had!My experience here was awesome, so I wanted to post this review for others. I highly recommend this place especially if you need some guidance like myself. I’m a newbie but I feel confident I’m taking care of my fish properly. Good luck, they’re great here!

I love The Ark! This place is so special to me, they have so many different things to choose from. The fish seem very happy & healthy. I live an hour away from here & ended up bringing Phil & Lil home! Sadly enough Phil ended up passing about a week after we had him, I could tell he wasn't adapting to the new environment very well. It was so heart breaking for me, they said if I brought the receipt & Fish with a water sample they could give me a new fish but since I work so much and it's a long drive I decided not to. I will be making a trip back soon, so my little Lil can have company again. It was a little crowded & pretty busy, so I had to be patient with them to get to me. All in all good service & a vary happy customer!

One of the best locations around this area too find wide selection of animals, as well as supplies for your pets.Just recently picked up a betta fish! Staff was very knowledgeable best way to care for my new pet.I don't need to anymore, but I used to even pick up crickets here for my gecko when I still had him.
